Well, after looking for a long long time for an excellent Japanese Hair straightening salon, I am happy to announce we have just found one. My daughter had a Japanese Hair straightening for over 10 years. She used to go to a lady named Robin (which was excellent) in Korea Town once a year. When Covid-19 hits, Robin left the salon ,and never came back. I've been going to Heidi for years! I found her when I started going to the original Yuko Beverly Hills. When that salon closed (so sad!), I just followed Heidi to whatever salons she went to! She's amazing at Japanese straightening. A true professional and she's also so nice. I have naturally curly, thick, frizzy hair, and after this process, it is soft, shiny, and most importantly STRAIGHT. Rain or shine, I never have to worry about my hair reverting back to curls. The time it takes me to do my hair in the mornings went from an hour to 5 minutes. I ended up moving from California to DC for a job (yes, as in Washington, DC!), and I STILL will only get my hair done by Heidi. Trips back home to visit my parents in southern california now almost revolve around when I can make my hair appointments haha - I fly back about every 6 months to visit family and to do my hair.
