What a great company to handle your move!…read more Steve Labrano provided an estimate for our local move in Palm Springs. Steve is professional, prompt and puts you at ease with his knowledge of moving, and readily answered any questions, prior to the move. He even personally dropped off wardrobe and moving boxes the week before the move. Moving day, the crew showed up within the arrival window, and got right to work upon arrival. Our hats are off to Tony, Jaime, and Fernando. Great team and took great care when wrapping our furniture, and to care not to nick walls or the furniture. The guys kept us informed during the loading and unloading process. Tony made sure we walked through both residences together to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. If you need great movers, go with this company. They are professional and a great value for the level of service provided. Keep up the great work!

Customer service: F Ease of rental: F…read moreQuality of units: A+ Safety: C+ Ease of finding unit on own: A+ My experience: F Happiness with the facility overall: B+ (could use an app so there's no code to memorize) I arrived just in time at 5:40pm to a locked office door. The man inside begrudgingly came and let me in, did not introduce himself at all and I still don't know his name he told me he was the only one working there for the past two weeks and he closes early because he has a 15 minute checklist that he needs to go through before he leaves. So even though the time says open until 6 PM they actually close at like 540. I'm not a complicated person I'm not a take a long time kind of guy so I was fully prepared to just sign some documents and be on my way. I knew it was close to closing time and I wasn't going to take up this man's time more than like three minutes, but instead he had to sit me down at his desk as if I was a student in trouble and proceed to dump on me about how he's the only one that's there and even though I was told by the Customer Service people over the phone to just come in to discuss a lock situation (cause you need a super special cylinder lock which they alone have the master key to which I don't find comforting at all and so I attached two of my own locks to my unit.) apparently I should have known beforehand not to listen to the Customer Service people over the phone which he proceeded to drill me about as well. At this point I had about enough and I was just wanting to move into my unit and get things started so my patience was thin and I finally cut this man off and I said "OK what do I need to do to just move in right now" and he told me that I could sit in my car out in the 110° heat and do everything online because his checklist. I was completely insulted, I went outside and started a online check-in which I would've done beforehand again had the person over the phone at Customer Service not told me to "just come in" to see if I can get the lock price ($20) removed so while I was doing this out in the 110 degree heat, the move-in special suddenly disappeared so I tried calling them, I was person number one in line and I had zero people ahead of me and Customer Service would be with me momentarily. I listened to this and sat there for 20 minutes while it told me I was number one in line and zero people ahead of me. During this time I went online to chat to Customer Service on there which to my dismay was only a basic function AI bot. ** just a quick note to companies you really need to stop putting these bots as your main point of contact and making it so impossible to get a hold of someone, these bots are nothing more than redirection hyperlinks with an algorithm meant to direct you to different parts of the website in case you're too stupid to find them on your own. If it was something I could solve on my own I would just do it. You need to stop Underestimating the everyday Customer and make it more simple to just contact a live person, and also by the way making the bot take a couple seconds before it gives iT's algorithm Answer doesn't convince us anymore that it's a Human typing out an Answer, It just infuriates us** off my soapbox. So by the time all was said and done I managed to just work around it open a new browser in incognito mode go and managed to find the promotion again, paid the stupid lock fee because, whatever at this point, and moved into my unit. Oh but I should also add before doing so, I actually had to drive away to go charge my car because this whole process took so long and I had to run the AC the whole time because the 110° heat. The facility itself is actually not bad there's a sense of creepy atmosphere after the sun goes down when you're outside but for the most part it's very secure inside, people cannot hop from one paddock to the other via the ceiling which happens at a lot of these places. this was just my personal experience and my review of it, I did decide to stay at the unit because I was very happy with overall facility I sincerely hope my experience is not your experience.

This apartment was not built thoughtfully -- the washer and dryer had to be lifted over the toilet to fit into place, and the refrigerator couldn't even go through the front door because of a fence. These guys figured it all out, carrying it around the apartment, over a planter, and through the sliding glass door without a single complaint. They showed up fully prepared, with all the right tools and all the right attitudes. They were friendly, helpful, conscientious, creative, resourceful, and fun. They wouldn't let me lift a finger -- constantly saying, "Miss, we've got this." And they really did. They balanced the heavy items perfectly in the U-Boxes and worked with nonstop energy and good humor. This was our second time using Ace, and now I remember why. I'd call Tony and Isaac again in a heartbeat. Ace should be proud to have them on their team- truly top-notch movers who make a stressful day feel easy.

We used Kings for a move out of our Palm Desert Home, they then stored our furnishings in their warehouse while our new home was being built, then they brought our furnishings to our new home in Beaumont. We had planned to move our small boxes ourselves from another storage unit we had rented, but Julio Gonzales the Kings, Manager suggested we use them as they could do the move with their truck and a man for about the same price we could do with UHaul. Based on reviews, I trusted. Initially, movers were to be there between 12:00pm and 12:30pm. Once they were late I called and was told that they got tied up on the move before mine and were running late. Ok. Things happen and that's reasonable. But was still assured not to worry. They eventually arrived at 8PM. Now I was worried. Towards the end of loading (which I and my son helped with, even though we were paying for it), I was told that they could hold my stuff overnight and deliver first thing in the morning since it was already 10:45PM. I knew I should've trusted my gut. All in all, I was quoted initially $1,000 and ended up paying just shy of $2,000 (including tips for the movers who were very good) Not vacating the property cost me another $500 because my escrow contract dictated a $500 penalty per day. Peter assured me not to worry. Two dining room chairs were broken by one of the movers. That's ok, these things happen especially during a household move. My calls and voicemails to Peter were never returned on how I can file a claim. Well, I guess I have to eat that cost as well. Lessons for others: 1) Don't accept or agree to an afternoon move. Try for a morning one. So in case you want your washer and dryer hooked up, fridges, etc. All these ancillary items will push back the afternoon appointments. 2) Understand the difference between binding and non-binding estimates. 3) Review the option for insurance and also consider third party insurance The good part about this were the actual movers. These guys all hustled. Carlos (seemed to be the supervisor of the other 3 guys) was awesome. Nothing but kudos to the guys that did the actual heavy lifting and moving.
