Five Stars! Tony and Isaac from Ace Moving Pros were absolutely fantastic. They helped load my mother's tiny apartment into two U-Boxes, and I couldn't have asked for a better team. This apartment was not built thoughtfully -- the washer and dryer had to be lifted over the toilet to fit into place, and the refrigerator couldn't even go through the front door because of a fence. These guys figured it all out, carrying it around the apartment, over a planter, and through the sliding glass door without a single complaint. They showed up fully prepared, with all the right tools and all the right attitudes. They were friendly, helpful, conscientious, creative, resourceful, and fun. They wouldn't let me lift a finger -- constantly saying, "Miss, we've got this." And they really did. I've taken time to post this as it was one of my more "difficult" moves. I had correspondence with Tiffany, who came out to do a house inspection of what I had to have moved. At the time, we discussed that I need the move done the same day (3-4 hour trip) from Palm Desert to Bakersfield, with a stop on the way to drop off a few items at my job site. I was assured that this would be no problem. I did appreciate that they sent communication the day before to verify that the movers would arrive at 7am the following morning. 2 movers (Jesse & Gilbert) showed up on time, though with only a 20' truck, when a 26' was needed. They went ahead and loaded what the could into the smaller truck (still not sure why they bothered) and told me that a larger truck was on its way. Unfortunately, that was not the case. After a bit of back & forth with the movers, they got me in touch with the Owner, Michael, and he said that their larger truck was finishing another job and would be available sometime that day, though couldn't guarantee I'd have my stuff that day. I said that was unacceptable, as all of my belongings were on the truck & I did not have a backup plan. If it had been communicated with me that it would be an issue I would have made other arrangements. Michael brought another trailer and they loaded the rest of my belonging onto it & went to wait for the other truck to be ready. They finally arrived at my home at 9:30pm & finished by 11pm. Mind you, I had to work the next day. When I got to my job site, the 3-drawer file cabinet was caved in and my printer stand was missing a foot. At home, my water cooler's door no longer stays on and my brand new jewelry case does not sit in its stand the way it used to. Michael did reimburse me $200. They could have been having a bad day. read more

We chose Aces Moving Pros because of the great price! It was the only affordable option when moving about 2.5 miles in the Palm Desert area. Others were charging us around $700-$800 for a minimum of 2-3 hours. I'm giving 4/5 stars because of the additional mover that showed up to help which causes the price to go up the day of and the moving time was moved up 2 hours. We were quoted for 2 movers and a truck for a minimum of 3 hours. However, they had shown up with an additional worker on our doorstep without any warning. Also, our moving time was scheduled for 1 pm, however, I received a phone call around 10:30 am asking if they could come at 11 am instead. It added a lot of unexpected stress. It turned out okay because they seemed to move quicker and worked well as a team and we finished at a reasonable time. They did do everything we asked and none of our belongings were damaged during the move so that was great! We would definitely rehire them again for a move. read more

Above and beyond is the service we received and so much more! We had a very steep driveway grade most moving companies wouldn't bid due to large vehicles couldn't dive up without getting stuck. Tony and crew worked around it and were able to pack our household goods into one business day, which was a testament to their hard work and dedication. We had a truck full worth of household goods and a lot of large awkward fitting outdoor furniture and they worked until a little past midnight to ensure everything was packed in an organized fashion to keep on schedule. Aces movers moved us out of our old home (Nov. 2023) and into our new home (Jan. 2024). There are some things they were outstanding at and other things that could've been better. They're team was excellent at packing us all up and getting us moved out. We loved how quick the girls were! The whole packing up process (moving out and in) was much faster than we expected. We stored our belongings in their storage, as our new house would take a few months to be ready. Our move in day was up in the air and they were completely open to schedule us in with a few days notice. That said, definitely purchase additional insurance. As this was our first time using movers, We just assumed that they would cover any damaged items. I wish they had been more explicit about our insurance options and explained their paperwork a little more thoroughly. Also, we were surprised that there was a second charge to move our belongings into our new home. That could very well be our fault for not reading all the paperwork they left with us. It's crazy enough to move and we assumed the $3000 + that we paid when they moved us out included the delivery of items as well. Once all of our items were moved in to our new place, Mike was honest and informed us that our 75 inch Samsung tv had been damaged, along with an accent table we had. Mike had the table touched up and delivered the next day. Unfortunately, we were out a tv. We purchased the tv in 2020 for $2700. We're aware that it was a few years old. Mike offered us $500 to compensate us for it. I was not happy about that, as that same tv was now selling for $1000. I wanted $1000 as I felt that was fair to make up for the damaged tv. My husband spoke to Mike about that and they settled at $800 since we didnt purchase additional insurance. So again, get the additional insurance. After we were all moved in and unpacked, I discovered a few more damaged items. To be honest, I didn't want to have my husband go back and try and negotiate to try and get them replaced since it just felt like a hassle to get $800 for the tv. The damaged items included all of our lamp shades. Those were all crushed. We had a white dresser that we noticed had the legs snapped and they simply drilled some screws back into 2 of them to hold them together. Lastly, we're still missing a brown full length mirror that didn't make it to the new house. We give them an 4 stars for packing and moving. For everything else, we give them 2 stars. read more

You have to be VERY careful when it comes to moving companies. And let me tell you when you start the search for moving companies the scammers come out in full force! (One of the many reasons I had to step in and take on this task.) My goal was to get 3 bids. First moving company was great but just felt he wasn't thorough enough when inventorying the house. Subsequently his bid was very high, it was a round throw it at them and see if they bite kind of number. Second company, did not follow contact instructions. Was rude to me on the phone and never showed up to give us a bid. 3 strikes you're out! Third company was Aces. From the moment we met Tiffany both my mom and I felt very comfortable with her. She was very thorough with her inventory. Clear communication, answered questions, and gave suggestions. We felt very supported and understood about the stress of moving.
