We were referred to Rapid Dry by our plumber after discovering a pinhole leak in our bathroom that…read morehad created a significant mold issue. Rapid Dry was hired to remediate the mold situation, which required the complete demolition of our vanity and much of the drywall. After the remediation was complete, we worked with Rapid Dry to renovate the bathroom, including removing a fiberglass shower enclosure, and creating a new tile shower. All the service associates that worked on this project where very professional and courteous. Their work was excellent and they left the premises very clean after each step of the way. The end result is a beautiful new bathroom and tile shower that we love! We highly recommend Rapid Dry Cleaning and Restoration.

A slow leak in my toilet led to mushrooms growing behind my base boards and dry wall. I called…read moreRapid Dry and Josh sent the crew out immediately. Brandon assessed the damage, marked the area that needed to be fixed. The next day they were back, cut out the dry wall, base boards and removed some flooring. Extractor fans were installed. They covered my entire bedroom in plastic sheeting to prevent dust and dirt getting anywhere. They returned two days later as promised, and installed new dry wall, painted and replaced some of the flooring and base boards. Josh communicated on a daily basis and always followed through on his promises. Rapid Dry renovated an entire bathroom for me several years ago, and did an outstanding job. We are lucky to have such an awesome company locally and I would highly recommend them not only for restoration but also any renovation projects.

Roto-Rooter was a very disappointing experience. They advertised interest-free financing, but the…read morefinancing approval process was unnecessarily delayed due to issues between the financing company they referred me to and my application. I was told the delay was because they couldn't understand the pay period shown on my pay stub. The fun is they approved the financing without providing any additional documentation, so the whole purpose was delay the process to help Roto Rooter to charge the full payment. Also they offered the adjustment when financing was approved but never hear back from them. It was a rip off. Because the financing wasn't approved in time, I was pressured into paying the full amount upfront since Roto-Rooter said they couldn't wait for the financing to be completed. The entire process felt frustrating and misleading. After the work was completed, I obtained quotes from another plumbing company and learned that I had been charged nearly twice what the same root cleaning service would normally cost. Based on my experience, I would recommend getting multiple estimates before hiring Roto-Rooter and carefully reviewing any financing arrangements. I felt overcharged and would not use their services again.

I paid for services at the time of completion and about 10 days later received a Notice of Pending Lien for other work which was quoted but never contracted for. When I called the corporate office the person who had signed the letter was rude, refused to issue a retraction and apology and "hung up" the phone. My recommendation is to not use this company and find a reputable plumber with ethical business practices. RotoRooter doesn't deserve a one star rating.
