They only take checks I mean come on who uses checks anymore. You have to remember to coke in to pay your storage bill each month. But the good thing is the owner is very nice and if you are a little late he is very understanding about the issue I am complaining about. So for that reason this place deserves four stars for the good customer service.

I left my keys on the counter one day while checking out when I walked back in to get them they were not there there was only one person there the employee. I was only in my storage unit and in the office and nowhere else but my keys mysteriously just disappeared. When I came back up a few weeks later of course not having the keys to my unit I had to have the locks cut. When I inquired about using a bolt cutter I was told that it would be $60 Perlock to be cut. I was then told that the storage unit place itself has master keys to all the various luck companies and locks and that for a $60 Perlock charge they would open the lock for me. The charge was to pay for the service of having the master keys and for the trouble of having to open up the lock. Of course not having the money to pay for it I beg and grovel to use the boat cutters and ended up finally cutting the locks off and buying new ones. I had rented three storage units there. When going to open up one of them I was Not only shot but angry as well when I saw the unit and the items were turned upside down and boxes have been opened. Talking with the owner if you weeks later I found out that there is no such thing as having master keys to the locks. Putting two into together of course it's pretty easy to figure that out that the employee had to take my keys and was going to charge me the fee for using my keys on my locks. I informed the owner of this he told me to never had a problem before and said he would take care of it. I've been gone for a few months and unplug my returned recently that employee is still there I was told he would not be. I've now cleared my units out and have been going through and taking a list of what is here and what is not. I am finding several items missing and I'm not happy about it. They were very sentimental things and some very expensive and important things. Some things were from my mother Who just recently passed away. This is unacceptable crap for myself I don't know about you but I would really think twice about renting a unit from the company. There are several of the storage units and 29 palms to consider before this one. I am not going to contact the police and file a report on this. I guess that the owner did not figure that I am certified in fingerprint forensics and I did lift fingerprints of led of several items including the door. We'll see what happens when it's run through AFIS.

I was informed you had recently had a RAT problem. I looked at my storage units, but since I'm a disabled Veteran wheelchair bound and was on my way back to the VA Hospital I could not handle the situation that day. I asked if your company would assist me since the Rats were your responsibility. But you responded with you could not help me. You failed to inform your tenets of the rat problem when you knew about it. And you refuse to take responsibility for it. I'm asking to be reimbursed for the rent I paid after the rat infestation, and you say your insurance does not cover it. 1) I gave you the opportunity to have someone there when I moved my things out. You did not want to. 2) I asked if you could assist me since I'm a Paralyzed Veteran. You refused 3) You refuse to offer me any compensation for my damaged personal belongings.

Then the woman explained this was a mistake and that she would fix and also because we had not used much gas would give a higher credit. This is also after I had asked them to drop it off when we'd be home and then the day of basically refused and just dropped it off anyway. Whoever the owner was called and was like just kidding we are taking money back after we already refunded you. It's such a tacky business. Not to mention the owner became pushy and defensive and I don't care how long you've done business in the community. That is absolutely not anything to do with how you're treating a customer. This is also the second tractor we've rented from them with power issues. They are slower and less powerful than they should be. He also said he would give a 10% discount and absolutely did not. It's a very untrustworthy company when it comes to money. Guess we'll go somewhere else next time. All in all a bad experience.
