Not a business I would ever choose to work with again. Not a pleasant experience at all; not particularly impressed with the overpriced work. Invoice stated they worked for 3 hours but were only even there for one. We saw no noticeable difference or improvement. Then things got weird/scary. Dan demanded payment on the spot; making our on-site employees very nervous and uncomfortable. I asked to see an invoice before processing payment. This made Dan irate; and he insisted that "an invoice is only sent after payment is received." This began a bizarre back and forth with Dan, as he was extremely contentious over this. To this day, Dan continues to insist that there is "no difference(!)" between an invoice and a receipt (apparently he's never been to a restaurant). He sites his "40 years in business" as the only proof he needs for this stand. Well, I'm running a business too, and when someone expects my clients to shell out $350 for ONE HOUR OF WORK, my clients certainly want (and deserve) to see what exactly that's for. (Hence, an invoice..) Eventually just we paid, simply to get him to leave the property; as everyone was very uncomfortable with him there. Since that awful experience, Dan has been very aggressive with phone calls and voicemails attempting to get me to remove this review. He has also promised a refund multiple times, but it has never come. Most recently, Dan posted a fake review on our own business profile as some sort of retaliation. Jay texted me he as going to arrive a few minutes past the window they gave me and I needed my sofa and two chairs cleaned urgently. I had called 3 days ahead and i got a slot in the morning before guests were arriving. So we had a tight schedule. I was rather surprised with the rate I was quoted when he arrived. I thought it was very expensive considering just the year before I had the same sofa steamed clean with a competitor plus 2 other sofas and 14 chairs and two rugs for $650. For $510 I was quoted 1 sofa and 2 chairs. Jay threw in for free 1 more chair and gave me a 5% discount. I got the explanation that because we tried removing the stain it was harder work due to the soap in it. I paid it because I needed it clean before Airbnb guests arrived that afternoon. I almost was talked out of it because of the time it takes to dry. Which I was unaware of until that morning. And time was ticking and I was worried. was in a bind and I felt a little like I had no option but to proceed and hope for the best . Well I can tell you HE DID AN AMAZING JOB above and beyond and my sofa never looked so good. He spent more time drying out the sofa very well with his machine and i had the fans running and we put the chairs outside to dry because the guests were arriving at 4pm. We figured they wouldn't be going to sit on the sofa and those chairs right away. So it was cutting it close. But I got no guest complaints. And I have to say his work brightened up the room. I'm impressed. So I paid a lot of money but I would do it again if the work is this good and dedicated- he spent over 4 hours working on my furniture. That why they deserve 5 stars. I hope they can become more transparent with costs and time in the future. I think it would help their bussiness- even an estimation - or have a print out with price ranges. So you know ahead of time what to expect. I believe pricing should be upfront and no confusion with the time and process so people can plan their time and money better. I would rather pay more for a better job than a cheap half ass service any day. I can tell you Jay goes all the way and really gets your furniture clean. They are much better than all the rest - if you get Jay- I can only speak for his work. He's very nice, dedicated, friendly and committed to following through with the work. I will call them again next year and hopefully I can get an estimated rate on the phone or some kind of retuning client discount. Or a bundle discount. And I will try to plan it out in a time when the furniture can dry out with any people for an entire day. A few days before we were to move in we discovered the prior owner had already arranged to have the carpets cleaned before moving out, so we needed to cancel. I just ran into Dan's business card, and have always felt guilty that I didn't write a review for him from about 4 years ago. My elderly parents lived in Yucca Valley, and my sister and I would come to visit them every 6 months. We came out about 4 years ago, and found that my dad no longer sifted the cat box. We assume he stopped after a hospital visit about a month prior. The bedroom where the box was kept had what should have been in the cat box all along the sides of the room. Rather aghast, we called Dan because of his good reviews. He came out quickly (we were only going to be there a shot time), and did an excellent job cleaning and disinfecting the carpet. Yes, we should have simply pulled it out, but, for a variety of reasons, that wasn't the best choice. He was honest with the outcome of the messy job and very pleasant. I highly recommend him. We hired Dan's Company to clean the carpets because three of the rooms needed cleaning not only for what the damage my dogs had done but also for general cleaning in high traffic areas.
