I wanted the design to be smaller, there was something wrong with the printer that day and the shop assistant had trouble making the stencil smaller. After a couple of tries Jess starts roid raging and slams the clipboard on the counter (I kid you not) and said something like whatever man I'll hook you up, meaning he's willing to tattoo it bigger for me even though I didn't want it that size. Wow, geez thank you your majesty Jess Yen, I am so blessed to get something I didn't want after watching you act out violently. Years later I decided to try again, this time with his apprentice Lucy. I had a phone consultation with her and she agreed to do my tattoo saying that her wait time is 2-3 years. I agreed and paid her a deposit. It's been more than 10 years now and I have not heard from her or gotten my deposit back. When I reached out to her, she tried to gaslight me saying that I missed my appointment. I was never informed of an appointment. First the owner display questionable emotional stability over something a little as resizing the stencil and then his apprentice scams me for a few hundred dollars. Yeah, this place gets negative stars if I could.

I was greeted by the nice lady in the front who helped us pick a nose ring. My review is mainly for the piercer, when I sat in the chair, he didn't greet me and I saw him grab the jewelry and rinse it under the faucet for 2 seconds. He never washed his hands and he put gloves on dirty hands. He then proceeded to remove my current jewelry, and never swabbed my piercing hole with anything. He just began placing the new ring which I never saw him sanitize. Through out the whole process not once was anything sanitized. He also seemed off like he was a drug user. My friend had the same experience and also co firmed she never saw him sanitize anything when he was servicing me. NEVER AGAIN, I regret coming here. I hope I don't get infected.

He wanted double bands around his forearm and Sam was able to sketch it out and do the tattoo on the same day. We were in and out within 1.5 hours. He explained the process and aftercare which made getting a tattoo seamless and less daunting. I was on the fence about getting a tattoo but my friend said if he got one I would have to get one too. I decided to get a runner with an ekg as I thought it was fitting for me. I wanted something small for my first tattoo and easily to keep hidden from my mom (sorry mom). He asked me to send him a picture of what I wanted and scheduled an appointment for Monday at 11am. Once Monday came I walked over and signed the consent form. He then printed out the tattoo and placed the outline on my chest and asked me if it was where I wanted it. Being a tattoo noob I trusted his judgement. After letting the outline dry I laid down and he began working on the piece. He said since it was a small tattoo and mainly lines there shouldn't be much pain and the healing process wouldn't be as long. It took about 30 mins to finish up the tattoo and the quality came out amazing. There was no pain at all and he went over the aftercare as well. I showed Sam this other tattoo I wanted and he said he would be able to do that as well. He says his art style is realism and anime so I can't wait to get more work done by him. He has been tattooing for 2 years now along with his apprenticeship. He told me to message him when I'm ready for my next piece. Maybe this tattoo thing is an addiction and will keep you coming back for more.

Absolutely recommend this studio!!…read more I made an appointment online for a hidden helix and two lobe piercings, and I had such a great experience from start to finish. 1.) The studio is incredibly clean! Everything felt very organized and sanitary. Each piece of jewelry is sterilized for 7-9 minutes before being used, and the jewelry displays were spotless and beautifully organized by brand. Every piece they carry is gorgeous, so be prepared to have a hard time choosing! 2.) Friendly, patient, and knowledgeable staff My appointment was with Boge, and while I was waiting, Lev helped me choose my jewelry. Both were incredibly kind and patient, especially because I am very indecisive. They never pressured me to choose anything and were happy to show me different jewelry sizes, talk through my options, and help me calculate the total cost. 3.) Honest advice and genuine customer care This was probably what impressed me the most. I originally came in wanting a hidden helix, but Lev actually advised me against getting one at this time because of the potential healing concerns with my ear anatomy and piercing history. They also took into consideration my upcoming events and helped me plan which piercings to get first and when it would be best to get the others. Although I was initially disappointed that I couldn't get the hidden helix, I really appreciated their honesty. They easily could have done the piercing, but instead prioritized what they felt would be best for my healing. That made me feel like they genuinely cared about me as a customer rather than just making a sale. And the customer care went above and beyond! I hadn't eaten before my appointment because I was nervous, and Boge noticed and offered me one of her own chewy granola bars so I wouldn't risk feeling faint. Such a small gesture, but it meant a lot to me. 4.) Fixed my messed up Claire's Piercing I had a piercing on my right ear that was pierced at the worst location as I have a mole there so I never bothered wearing earrings. Boge was able to work her magic and made everything look even! Please see my photos for before and after. Seamless experience (I have a super low pain tolerance and prone to fainting with needles). She was so kind and talked me through it all and let me lay in the chair for a bit before even getting up. I never felt rushed, pressured, or uncomfortable at any point. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable, and I left feeling really confident about my piercing plan. Thank you to Boge, Lev, and the rest of the team for such a wonderful experience! I'll definitely be back when the timing is right for my helix.

The appointment itself felt awkward and pretty unwelcoming. There wasn't much communication about the design or style during the session, and I left feeling unsure about it almost immediately. Considering I paid over $500, I expected a much more collaborative experience and a result that felt more personalized. A little over a year later, I ended up paying another artist to completely cover it with the design I originally wanted in the first place (for the same price). I know every artist has their own process and style, and I'm sure some people have had great experiences, but mine unfortunately wasn't one of them.

I made a whole road trip out of it, driving from Moab to LA...showing up on the full moon. I was nervous but as soon as I met Ceora in person, I felt her radiating light-being energy. Just a ball of love and light. She had this pure, authentic playfulness - it was clear she was passionate about her craft and that this was part of her purpose on earth. I saw her art for the first time and immediately knew it was exactly what I wanted. Throughout our session I had to consciously try to keep still because we laughed so much. Ceora was very gentle and had a cadence to her penmanship that put me in a very relaxed meditative state. This tattoo is so powerful, as it was healing it felt as if I had to go through a process of understanding and accepting its power. About two weeks after, I was sitting in meditation and felt the universal energy enter through my crown chakra, tracing the symbols and igniting their magic. While many people get tattoos to symbolize something that happened in the past or who they are in the present, this tattoo carries healing energy that will support me into the future. I don't understand what many of the symbols mean, but their alchemy is real. I'm so grateful I found Ceora and for her ability to intuit such beautiful and powerful art. I highly recommend her if you are looking for an intuitive and spiritual tattoo.

Samantha really is a great artist at her style of Tattoo's and how she isn't known more throughout…read morethe community is a puzzle to me. Me and the Girlfriend were deciding upon a Geometric tattoo. Despite how many artists there are in the LA Area, the usual wait time is several months, if not close to a year, with the cost of the tattoo to be very high as well... However with Samantha, her wait time from contact was much, much shorter. Prices were not as cheap as some parlors, however the cost reflects the amount of detail that's put into the designs, and with a lifetime commitment, I'd prefer to spend more for alot better detail. I've had two other tattoo's from other artists so this was my first from Samantha, however my Girlfriend decided to take the plunge and receive her first from Samantha, and we can both safely say that we were very glad and fortunate to have stumbled upon her web page. From that first consultation, until the actual appointment when the work is done, the entire vibe and aura of it just feels... Different from what you would normally expect. Working out of her household, it just feels more relaxed. She is more than welcome to do whichever design you would like, and will always input some additional ideas to enhance the message and the symbolism of your choice. Once you actually sit down for the tattoo, the music she has in the background is whichever choice you'd prefer to help with making you more relaxed. During the actual tattoo, I was very surprised because the pain was very reduced from my previous two, and those two were in less sensitive areas. Even my Girlfriend commented on how the pain she felt was alot less than she expected, and her first was on the back of her tricep. Tattoo time was standard for the amount of work that she does, however because you're having conversations and listening to your favorite songs during the tattoo... It's over far sooner than you expect. Both me and the girlfriend were thinking it'd take longer than it actually did, which is very pleasing. We will definitely be returning back to receive more art from her and are looking forward to that day.
