This past week I was talking to the family of my 94 year old neighbor who told me they had to stop taking her to Walters because he was prescribing things she didn't need and they felt had misdiagnosed at least one ailment. I'm hearing now of others who have had problems with him and would love to hear from you if you have. You can also file a medical board complaint of your own if the situation has happened within the last 7 years. I encourage you to do that to the Medical Board of California.

I had the first appointment of the day. Dr. Porch was running an hour late and they let us just sit in the room without knowing what was going on. When I came out of the room an hour after we were taken in they let me know she will be in with us as soonn as she gets there. She never called back never offered another appointment never checked in. We felt like she did not even care about us. They were informed that she didn't have any assests left. No response, for a year. Then they started trying to collect again, now they're trying to put her in collections. Guess what guys? So my doctor insisted I do a sleep study so I went. The appointment process was improved and they…read moredidn't require a deposit now. The lady was very nice who did the study, BUT, she insisted that I do at least part of the study sleeping on my back. Due to psoriatic arthritis pain, I NEVER sleep on my back and I know that when I do, I snore like crazy. So I told her I didn't want to sleep on my back, because I never do...that would be false information for the test. She insisted. Sure enough, my doctor gets my test results and it says that I had sleep apnea 72 times in the night and they recommended I use a CPAP machine. I told my doctor this and he reads further and the results say that my oxygen level never dropped which is highly unusual if you have sleep apnea. So he's going to send me to a respiratory specialist to confirm. Then all of a sudden, this CPAP provider calls me and tells me my CPAP machine is ready to be picked up. I explain what happened and ask who ordered it and they said that Sunset Sleep ordered it! Now I have to assume that they're getting some kind of kickbacks for diagnosing people with sleep apnea and making them get CPAP machines. This is definitely a scam place.

Explaining what we were doing & had me view a short video. From that study I learned that I still have mild Apnea. A test in 2009 where I used to live had the same result only that study was followed up by a pulmonary dr & he blew my issues off w/a simple: loose 10 or 15 lbs & I'll be fine. At that time I was 5'6", 133 lbs, so I have no Idea where I was to loose weight. Anything less & people would ask me if I was sick & that I shouldn't loose any more weight. I was disappointed & have spent the last 9 yrs rarely sleeping the 6-8 hrs my drs insist I get. My 3 cardiologists agreed that it's hard on my heart & hard to loose the now 20/25 lbs I'm over my proper weight. Last night I arrived at the new location where a tech named Romero greeted me at the door. He like Debbie was welcoming, professional & did a fab job. I slept the whole night other than 1 or 2 times I woke briefly; falling back to sleep easily. In about 1 week I'll be contacted for an appt with the med supplier for a fitting & to receive my CPAP.
