Recently got into a car accident and needed a lawyer. Called and left a voicemail. One of the attorneys called me back promptly. Jay listened as I explained what happened and was very patient. He gave me some great advice and went over the different options I had. He was obviously intelligent and friendly, and didn't try to persuade me to his benefit. Almost positive I've found my attorney for any future needs(hopefully it won't be another accident). Call him if you need any help with personal injury accidents and appreciate friendly, honest service read more

Jay Yu did my Trust and it exceeded my expectations. Even my notary was impressed and she has notarized 100s of Trusts.

Jay made creating my will and living trust process as easy as possible! He was extremely responsive to my emails and text messages and always made me feel welcomed with all my questions. Top notch service! read more

We used Jay Yu earlier this year to create a will and a trust for my husband and me. The work Jay did for our estate was excellent and we found him to be a first-class professional. Jay spent time with us, making efforts to answer all our questions. He even agreed as a courtesy to answer questions that might come up later about implementing his estate plan for us. Jay is a professor of estate law, and the unique thing about him is that not only was he devoted to serving our needs, he also wanted us to understand the work he did for us. Most attorneys focus only on the results, but Jay offers that rare quality of educating his clients as well. He is careful, detailed and conscientious. In the end, Jay presented us with a nice binder that had everything we needed including instructions on how to move our assets into our trust. His process is well organized, and he was clear about what to expect. We'd definitely use Jay Yu again for future estate planning work and have already recommended him to people we know. We were grateful for his guidance in putting together estate documents that met our needs. read more

I've worked with several attorneys for car accidents in the past, but I have never (and I mean not even remotely close) experienced such exceptional service as I did with Yu and Yu law. First, I called a few places to find an attorney to help me with a car accident. When calling around, like every law office, I was put through an office manager. However, this firm particularly stood out because I was able to speak with the lawyer almost immediately. From the beginning, the attorneys at Yu and Yu law were super friendly and helpful. Plus, consultation is free:) Attorney Jay walked me through the whole process and was available to talk to me whenever I had questions. (I had a lot of questions...) His office kept in constant communication with me the whole time. At the end, I was able to get my car fixed and get the medical treatment I needed! I would use this law firm again in the future and recommend it to anyone who needs help with a car accident! read more

I got a call from James regarding my car accident within 24 hours of submitting an inquiry on his website.  I didn't think that I would need an attorney in the beginning because the other driver admitted fault on the scene but I'm so glad I ended up obtaining his service because I would not have known about some of the coverage that I was supposed to receive.  My case is still ongoing but I wanted to say thank you to James for his excellent customer service and his attention to details. read more

I called Jay at Yu & Yu after I was injured falling at a major grocery store. The store took a report and I thought they would pay my medical bills but I never heard from them. I Googled around for some lawyers and Jay called me within an hour of me filling out the form on his website. I really didn't expect that and I really appreciate that type of attention to detail he gave to me the whole time through. Thanks again Jay and James! read more

I want to thank Yu brothers for such a painless and seamless experience we've had with them regarding our legal matters. My parents were in a need of professional legal advice on how to structure their very first business in terms of ownership. Knowing that starting a business and being entrepreneurs itself requires so much risk already, I convinced my parents to seek an attorney who could give them an objective and honest advice on what's best for them. And that's how we got in contact with Yu and Yu Brothers through a friend's referral. Given that I'm always as a translator and legal guardians on behalf of my parents for legal matters or anything important you can imagine, I was thrilled to learn that James and Jay both are fluent in Korean and English! Not only that, they made such a good impression by making the entire process absolutely pleasant and easy that my parents quickly decided to use their service concurrently for dealing with problematic tenants occupying their investment property as well. I'd recommend Yu and Yu Brothers to my colleagues and friends for any legal advice! They have done an excellent job in all aspects including delivering results, prompt communication and expertise. Thank you again, James and Jay! read more

I had to get a power of attorney done for myself and my sister who lives in a different state quickly so I didn't know what to do so I yelped and found Yu and Yu Law.  I briefly explained the situation to Jay and he understood what I needed exactly and got the power of attorney documents to me within a couple of days. While having conversation with Jay, he advised me on how to title my property and went over estate planning as well. I have been wanting to talk to someone about setting up a trust for my family but I have been avoiding as it sounded complicated but Jay has been very patient and helpful to make sure I understand how trust works and I will be doing that sometime soon. Thank you Jay, for making things easy! read more

My friend told me about a lawyer she used so I called James and from the very first call he got everything he needed and I didn't have to do anything more. I was introduced to both James Yu and Jay Yu through a close friend. My mom got into an accident and I was looking for a firm that can represent my mom who need Korean Translation. It's always stressful when there is a car accident.. These guys helped me out before when I was in a crash and this time came through again. Both Jay & James were on the case this time and made sure I was in the loop the entire time. Amazing settlement again, thank you!!! read more

This review is long overdue.  I was introduced to James and Jay through my friend because I needed to find my parents an attorney for their estate planning.  Me and my parents were able to meet with both of the attorneys for our initial consultation where they spent over an hour going over estate concepts.  Jay eventually took over my parents case and walked them through extremely difficult choices.  My parents in the end opened a living trust and helped us make the necessary power of attorneys for future estate planning.  What I appreciated most is James and Jay's focus on customer service as they were both very patient and even made my parents feel comfortable by speaking to them in Korea.  I would recommend all families to contact these guys for a free consultation. read more

I heard from a friend about the office, and how they offered free consultations. I just had a simple question, but wasn't entirely sure where to look to, so I just called them up, and surely I was on the phone with great help immediately, answered my question and was sincere about my problems, and was definitely ready and willing to help out with any problems. read more

The best way to describe Yu & Yu Law is a one-stop law firm for any and all legal advice! I was recently involved in a car accident and was desperately in need of a lawyer. I had a positive experience using Jay's services in the past because he always made himself available wherever he may be. This time was no different. Both James and Jay were attentive and diligent as I explained how the accident took place. As soon as they heard my story of the accident, they were able to identify exactly what I needed and how to deal with my case. They were very friendly and explained all legal terms into a simplified version for even someone like me to clearly understand. I never had problems trying to reach them since they were always on top of it and kept me inside the loop with the progress of the case. Yu brothers always called and left messages on time like they promised even after the office hours. I personally believe that communication is key with law firms especially when insurance companies and opponent drivers will do their best not to take responsibility for accidents. Yu brothers will always find a way for you to be compensated for your losses and get you what you deserve. I usually don't leave such long reviews but Yu brothers definitely earned my trust and review for making my life easier in this accident. read more

Jay and James are both excellent attorneys that provide what most attorneys can't -- excellent customer service, accessibility, as well as expertise in the law. Any time I had a question, there was a turnaround time in less than 48 hours (and even 24 hours in most cases). Recently, Jay was able to offer to me some excellent guidance to a friend's tough legal situation. Jay broke down the legal issues in a way that anyone can understand, and my friend could not have been more thankful and impressed with the service that he received. In this day and age, customer service and communication is key. Everybody wants things done correctly, but they also want it done fast and efficiently. With Jay and James, you can expect to receive quality and efficient service and feel that they are truly on your side. This is what every professional law firm should strive to be, and these guys are leading by example. Thank you Yu & Yu Law! read more
