Our former housekeeper moved so we recently had Purple Fig come in for an initial cleaning with the hopes of setting up a twice a month or bi-weekly service. We were quoted ~$280 per visit which was higher than our old housekeeper but seemed reasonable enough given they bring multiple people. They claimed the first clean was to bring things up to the "Purple Fig Standard" but when I got home after the cleaning I genuinely had trouble understanding what they did while in my home other than leave a candy cane on our kitchen counter. They don't do any laundry (even bed sheets/towels, not looking for a wash and fold service here) which is frustrating but I can somewhat understand given the time a laundry cycle takes. The most egregious offense was that they apparently also dont do any dishes . Again, i'm not asking for a post-Thanksgiving dinner cleanup here but we had a few pans and plates from last nights dinner in the sink and they didn't touch them. Overall, my wife and I struggled to understand what they really did to clean our home. When we decided not to continue with the bi-weekly service they then retroactively charged us $470 for the initial clean. For the price they charge not doing laundry or even tidying up the kitchen when there are a few dishes in the sink doesn't feel worth it. The best part of a cleaning service is coming home to a clean house that you can see and feel as soon as you walk through the door. Within one month of services only: - They charge $250.00 for an initial cleaning fee, in which most services to be completed were not but we were still sent an invoice for services. The cleaning crew was instructed to come back out the next night to redo the initial clean as it was not up to standard. I personally did a walkthrough with before and after photos, and after a 2nd initial cleaning, the services were not completed. - Our security alarm went off at our office at night, and I called the emergency line at Jani King. My call was not returned until 30 minutes later. Upon talking to the on call person, she stated the cleaning crew was not scheduled that night, but on Monday/Wednesday/Friday. I stated to her in our contract we were scheduled to be cleaned on Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday. I called the next day, and they had input our cleaning schedule into their system incorrectly even after a meeting going over our cleaning schedule and contract being signed. - Our cleaning crew did not set our ADP alarm on one occasion. On 3 occasions left dead bolt locks unlocked overnight. We complained after each occurrence. My admin team came into the office early one morning and the cleaning personnel had come back to get our office to retrieve the key that she had left locked in our office (dead bolt not locked, only handle). HUGE SECURITY RISK. - After 2 weeks of service, the manager called and stated that although we had a contract signed for services at the rate of $400s per month, the manger stated they could no longer render services signed in contract anymore at that rate and changed monthly rate into the $600s, and if we wanted to just simply pay a couple hundred dollars more then we could continue the services as signed in the contract.

None of the cleaners spoke English, so we had to use Google Translate, which made it difficult to address issues in the moment. I've also tried calling, texting, and emailing the company to cancel our monthly cleanings, but have received no response--even after they withdrew the payment from my account. Unfortunately, because of the lack of communication, the damage, and the service not matching what was promised, I will not be using this company again.
