I want to write a fair review so I waited until I had finish my treatments (6 visits) to write this. All I can say is what a waste of time and money. After 6 treatments I still have to shave (I am not a hairy person). After 4 treatments there should not have much hair left. She told me by end of my treatment there should not be any hair at all. But it is not true. I am so glade I did not pay additional to get extra area done (she will try to sell you). Her customer service skill are very bad. I do feel being rushed every time. She is not professional at all. She can never answer my questions. Her answer is always "I can't answer your question because everyone is different". Who else can answer my questions if she can't? Going in every 2 weeks is just too soon. I had laser treatment before, most place that I had visited don't ask you to come back until 6 weeks later. I even ask her why 2 weeks it sound too soon. Her answer was 2 weeks is the best time to get best result. I should have waited longer between treatments if I know better. Who knows maybe my result would turn out better if I stretch out the visits. I feel I had been cheated, because few of my visits she only give me 3 zaps (how can 3 zap cover all area?). The most she ever did was 6 zaps and that is because it was my last visit and I had to ask her to make sure she cover all the areas because I am not happy with the result. so she tells me to go back for touch up and each touch up cost $75 (If I remember it right). There is no way I would ever return to that place for any kind of service. And why should I pay extra on something should have been done at the first place. I just feel this Groupon deal is a total rip off. I understand you get what you paid for but this is just not acceptable. Due to this experience I will no longer buy anything off Groupon. I've had enough of this place!... I'm not going to my last appointment! 1-My results aren't permanent, because the laser tech (not even sure if she's certified) has you come too often, every 2 weeks, when the hair cycle grows out in 6-8 weeks, when I asked her why, she quickly replied, "different type of laser"! But it has nothing to do with the laser, it's about the hair cycle (6-8 wks is what other places do)! 2-For Brazilian, she only does the top area. I asked her about the back area & she replied, "I already did it, do you know why I do that part first"? yea, but I don't need a freakin pop quiz @ the laser office! She lied, because she never did it! I think you know when there's hair in your a**! 3-If you want good, friendly service- DO NOT GO HERE! There's a reason why everyone is complaining, I've had the same experience; it's terrible & that's the truth! I missed 1 appointment, & they took a visit away from me! The tech is so rude!!, once I left the bathroom light on & she slammed it off right after me. 4-She doesn't like to answer your questions, she's short with her response, like she doesn't even want to help you! I'm surprised they're still in business! There hours are so inconvenient; afternoon appointments only on Wednesdays; not customer centered! I'm not just complaining here; I told the Dr who owns the place, & he sided with the tech. I even told him about the bad reviews, & he said "they have top reviews"; what a joke! 5-This place is so bad, I've had to get my lawyer involved! I am livid that I traveled from far away for this; waste of my time & money..thinking I was going to get a good deal?? So you do have partial results from the laser itself (and I have a favorable hair/skin type) however if you go to a real professional they will do it right. I had waaay too much residual hair and its only because of this particular place.. 1. She has you come back every 2 weeks which is TOO soon. I spoke with a friend at work who used to do it (found out after I had it done) and she agreed, there is not enough time for the hair to grow back. So when you return for a follow up she zaps separate areas only very few times since there is too little hair growth. If you wait a month then your hair will grow back. 2. She is full of s***, her explanations for things make no sense. Not going into it cause it'll make this post too long. 3. She is rude, dramatic and unprofessional - I got her talking and at one of the appointments she went on and on and how it is better to be greedy in this world and how you should always do whats best for you, even if you rip off other people. She didn't directly say "rip off other people" that is basically what she said. Very shady. 4. She will tell you one price at the start. Touch up treatments were originally 25$ before I started and purchased an "extra area". By treatment #3 she said they were 50$ a piece. Basically, go get laser with a real professional who knows how to use the machine and do proper timing and basically won't rip you off. I've had the same experience with this place as everyone else. I called Groupon and informed them of what was going on and got a full refund for my groupon (and the one I bought as a gift for my sister). I also called my credit card (that i used for the upgrade...$300 more) and created a dispute to try to get my money back. Lastly, i asked the Better Business Bureau to investigate them and also filed a complaint regarding everything that happened. Right now they have sent Youthful Images the written complaint and i'm waiting to hear back. Hopefully if enought of us do it, they will "fix" what they have done. read more

Where should I start?!?! The technician, Hope, is a joke! She talked me into the upgrade for an additional area plus the Brazilian (400!) on my first visit. I've been to 4 of the 6 treatments, despite the fact that she is wildly unprofessional and doesn't give you the time of day or even eye contact when speaking to you. She complained about other patients twice when I was there and about the physician, Dr. DeStephens, on another occasion. I was willing to overlook it at first, feeling that I'd gotten a good deal. I shouldn't have! I'll be going with a different clinic starting in May to do the job left undone. The results in the bikini area are laughable. It's like I've had nothing done at all except for a patch here or there. She used the laser a total of 4-5 times at each visit (actual time with laser in her hand was less than a minute or two), so it's a waste of your time and money. On top of all of that, she showed me her genital area on my 2nd visit and even bragged about lasering her daughters and not letting them use numbing cream first (because of how expensive it is!). Completely horrible customer service, she's all about money. Complete flat out b***h if you are late. God forbid she can't fit you in on another day. I don't believe she is certified in what she does. She is a business woman, not a certified laser hair removal technician. She never looked at my results nor spoke to me about them. I did not get the proper results promised to me. I went in for laser hair removal. I paid for 6 sessions each for two different areas. The appointments were every two weeks. I was promised a 90% reduction in hair. After a seventh appointment that I paid for in addition to the previous package of 6, I was highly upset, because I was at a 30% reduction. I emailed the doctor to express my concern and discontent. He told me I needed to make an appointment to speak with him. Mind you, he never saw me before this appointment. I showed him the areas, he made a judgement based on never seeing me before the treatments. I asked for a refund. He refused to give me a refund. Instead, he offered 4 additional treatments at HALF PRICE. Idiotically, I did them because I wanted the hair gone. AND he said that 4 additional should do the trick. 11 treatments in total. I'm at a 60%. I moved out of state for school. I found a new laser treatment facility. They told me: 1) treatments should be spread out between 6-8 weeks. Dr. DeStephens place did them every 2 weeks. 2) I should shave a day before the apointments because the longer the hair, the less effective the laser will be because it has to travel down the shaft of the hair. Dr. DeStephens said shave 1 week prior. 3) The new laser facility told me they types of lasers they use before I even asked. At Dr. DeStephens, I asked several times what kind of laser they were using so I could google it on my own...they never told me. 4) the new laser facility took before and after pictures. Dr. DeStephens office did not document progression. 5) the new laser facility, on a painful scale of 1-10, was at most a 5, which were sensitive areas, and because its a freaking laser. But 10 minutes after, there was no pain, no redness, no burns, no blisters. Dr. Destephens laser was a painful level 10 on even not so sensitive areas, and I was often burnt, had blistering, and was hurting even the day after. 6) the new facility had me sign all the normal papers and gave me a direct carbon copy of everything I signed. Dr. Destephens office gave me nothing except receipt for payment. All instructions were verbal. And often times, were not given. Because I asked for a triangle to be left on my bikini line and she WENT OVER EVERY SINGLE INCH. Now, because their lasers sucked, I'm extremely patchy. Yes, Dr. DeStephens is cheaper...for a reason. They need business. Because their customers do not give good word of mouth. They need unsuspecting people to continue to pay for their shotty work. I ADVISE YOU TO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE FOR LASER HAIR REMOVAL. read more

I was extremely rushed throughout the entire experience. Furthermore, the laser consultant is incompetent and has you return in 2 weeks instead of the recommended 6 weeks. After only one session with her, I am convinced she has no idea what she is doing. Furthermore, I was told i need to pay an additional 150.00 to get my area covered, because the chin, side of face and under the face (acual chin area) are all separate! Do Not PURCHASE the GROUPON. It has now been 3 months since my last treatment and you can't tell that I got laser hair removal. It was a waste of money. The lady also can be rude and I felt rushed. I agree with everyone else here. DON'T go to this place if you want any kind of results. I, too, bought the Groupon deal and was convinced to "upgrade." It ended up being a GIANT waste of my time and money. The lady will be super nice and convincing during your consultation and first visit, but that's only because she wants you to upgrade and spend more money. She promised me up and down that I would get excellent results. Guess what? My hair is exactly the same. In fact, it almost seems like my hair is thicker and grows faster than before on my underarms. I started to have results during my first three visits and then she rushed me through and barely did anything at all near the end. For four different body parts, I was in and out of the building within 7 minutes. If you are making sure you are doing a thorough job with your customer, it would've taken longer than any 7 minutes! The problem is, she could care less what kind of results you have as long as she has your money (and of course, you pay up front). And then when you don't get results, she blames you and tells you to come in for a retouch, which is another $50 per area per visit. I would never give this company any more of my money, and I advise anyone else to not fall into the trap either. read more

The lady didn't even take the time to explain to me how the procedure works and didn't even ask me what I wanted. The appointments are short, they say its 15 minutes. But I can reassure you that I was out in less than 5 minutes every time I went in there. During my first time, I thought I was getting a good deal so I upgraded to Brazilian treatment and paid $400 extra. What a rip off!! The lady is not friendly at all. She barely even talks to you when you go in. I did go through my 6 treatments. I finished the treatment few months ago! Lets just say that all my hair is BACK! They make you come in every 2 weeks, so you pretty much don't notice that you are not really getting any treatments. I have never written a review for anything before, but this place definitely deserves it. I got my groupon for laser hair removal back in August and just finished with amazing results. A lot of the reviews only initially made me nervous, but the technician people were complaining of has not worked there since a little I started going (August). I've had Ileana for all 6 of my sessions and she is so sweet and amazing! I'll be honest- it's not painless, but she does everything she can to make it as comfortable as possible. I have dark hair and lighter skin and would say that I've had about an 85-90% reduction in hair growth. I'm very impressed. I previously waxed for two years and could not stand it anymore. The cost of this ended up being close to about 6 months of waxing, so I figured the worst that could happen is that it didn't work. It paid off and now I don't have to wax anymore and I can shave rarely. I would definitely recommend that anyone considering it gives it a try. read more

When I first saw the Groupon for 6 treatments of laser hair removal for $99, I was thrilled. However, it turned out to be a total waste of my time and hard-earned money (around $400 or more). The woman was unprofessional, was always in a hurry, and of course trying to sell me more products to get optimal results. I took the bait and spent $80 on this Melatonin spray which she instructed me to spray on the area twice a day, every day... what a waste of money. Each visit she would only zap a few places and was done. At one appointment she actually laid the laser down on my body and turned around to do something else! The frickin' laser was burning me and I had a burn mark for several days! On my first visit she also dropped her pants to show me her personal area so that I could see her results! She didn't even ask me if it was ok with me before she pulled her pants down! Additionally, I had to pay extra to get the full bikini area done...the $99 covers just the bikini line. And just like the other girls, my treatments were schedule two weeks apart which I also thought was strange since I know that usual hair laser treatments are scheduled 1 month to 6 weeks apart. When I questioned her about it she said that their laser was stronger and better so they could treat every two weeks. I have to shave every day...very, very disappointed and ripped off!
