Owner was kind. However, the employee was incredibly rude. I arrived close to closing (but, I work in food service (so, I do understand the desire to close asap) and I finished my store's closing as soon as possible so that I could check if my phone was ready since that was the only time in the week that I could check) and I received attitude upon the door... yep, the employee stood right in front of the door not even letting me inside when she began giving me attitude. To which, she refused to acknowledge the attitude by saying "I just said that the store is closing" after I clocked her for saying "I can see" when I showed her my information (as she did not believe me). Like, I'm really sorry but iPhones and changing carriers is really expensive and I'm sorry that I'm a full time student and worker. I know it's a pain that someone arrives ten minutes before closing, but at least be kind? I'm spending over $1k at this company already and this was my first ever Verizon experience with this attitude? I'm in shock. While being a customer of this store for the past 4 or 5 years, I was very impressed with Saskia. She's friendly, her knowledge of products and plans is amazing and she even helped me fix some things that the previous manager, who got fired, screwed up. Saskia is extremely helpful, patient, and understands that people who dealt with the previous manager are upset about. She tries and has succeeded in keeping customers at this location and I highly recommend anyone who needs to go to Verizon to go and see her! read more

Look out for hidden fees - like not including a charger for a phone and asking $50 for it. Do yourself a favor and buy your own charger. Once you sign up, do not expect decent customer service or even basic civility. read more

I don't usual do bad reviews but the manager at this store some how managed to cancel my Fios service when I came in to simply return a version router for a refund since I had decided to use a 3rd party one. He seemed to not really care and even tried to say that it was my fault at one point. That being said after multiple calls to customer service and over an hour and a half on the phone and my service is back up and I will never go to this store again. (After reading other reviews seems like this guy has done this multiple time it's crazy that is is not part of basic training) read more

I LOVE this Verizon store. I'm lucky that it's very close to my apartment and can go to them any time I need their help. The first time I went, I had to upgrade my phone. I went in about 30 minutes before they closed. After picking out my new phone, and taking some time to access my account information under my dad's name (my dad hadn't given me the correct password). I could tell that everyone was starting to wrap up and get ready to go home. But this was not a problem! Everyone continued to be very friendly, proactive and fun to talk to. The manager here is great, he knows his shit (sorry...) and appears to have good rapport with the rest of the employees. I couldn't get my back up transferred to the new phone because by the time we got to that point it was pretty close (if not already) to closing time. They gave me the option to come in the next day to do so or for me to do it with my own computer instead. I went with the latter as this wasn't a problem for me. They also offered me a case of my choosing. The style I wanted (the ones that are also a wallet) didn't have a lot of colors to pick from but it was free.99 so hey I'll take it. Once everything else was set up, I went off into the horizons, happy with my new phone and the great customer service I had just received. But then, three weeks (or so) later, I returned heartbroken. My brand new phone with the free.99 case were stolen while I was abroad. I came in with my old iPhone 5S who I mistreated so much that the phone's cracked screen would cut me every now and then in an act of vengeance. I explained what happened to Cesar (the employee whose name I can remember this time) and told him I was just going to activate my old phone. He then looked at my family account and voila! I had an upgrade for my mini iPad that they could use for my phone. This was a process though, and it did take some time since they had to do a lot of changes to make the iPad an iPhone line and then upgrade that, but give the new phone a SIM card with my phone number (the iPad was under another family member's phone number even though it was mine). They explained everything they had to do so I was fine waiting (also I didn't have anywhere to go to...). While waiting, Cesar continued to be very friendly and engaging in conversation while setting up the changes, helping to make the waiting period bearable. At the end they offered me a new case for the wait but I didn't get to pick it out this time, which was fine because: free.99. The only downside is both times I went they didn't have the color iPhone I wanted (in gold). First time I got silver and second time they only had "space grey" aka all black in the front. But they told me they would get a shipment this week and I can replace it free of charge. I'm out of the state for the rest of the week and getting used to this phone, so I'll probably just stick with the dark side. read more

Came here to see if they could help with my Droid Turbo as the rear camera and flash stopped working the other day. He tried rebooting it, as I had done several times before. Said he had never seen that problem before. Tried looking at the front camera and was surprised that the phone snapped a photo each time he touched the screen. I informed him that is the design of the operating system. Told me my only option was to pay the $130 left on my buyout along with a $50 activation charge and get a new phone. I told him I have an extended warranty, but he said there would be a $200 deductible and that I should buy the new Samsung Edge 7 (which I would probably get if I had to replace my phone). They didn't even carry any Motorola phones. I went to a Verizon store today, and I will receive a new Droid Turbo via FedEx tomorrow, without any charge. This may be a good place to buy a phone, but beware if you have an extended warranty as he tried to get me to spend $200 that I did not need to spend. read more

Best Verizon store in the city. All the employees are super chill and give honest customer service; never felt like they were the typical salesmen/woman who try to just drain your wallet. Not sure if it's accurate, but it seems like all of them like working with each other which always makes for a good customer experience. read more

My phone took a dive off the 5th floor fire escape, so I showed up looking pretty sad. The crew here absolutely blew me away, helping me revive and back up my old phone and transfer everything to my new phone. D, their repair guy, is an absolute wizard. I was amazed at how well he knew the workings of the phone. He talked me through all of the fixes he tried, was super patient, and helped keep the repair cost really affordable. Everyone else was fantastic as well. This is a total rarity among phone stores. Highly recommended! read more
