Fix To Go's recent Yelp reviews were very good! So we quickly changed plans with AAA, and called ahead, explaining to Manager Bacardi the situation. He was straightforward with us, agreed with me on my guess (it was the starter), and gave us an accurate quote. Barcadi's team quickly sourced and replaced the starter, and noticed the brakes were in desperate need of pad replacement. The total price was not bad at all! Soon we were confidently back on the road with new starter and brake pads. We are so thankful to the team at Fix To Go Auto Care Center for being honest and skillful mechanics in our time of need.

Instead, they confirmed it was an easy repair and charged only $50--almost unheard of in today's economy. The service went above and beyond. When I picked up my car, they had even washed it and removed paint from the front end left after an unintended acceleration incident involving my garage door a few months earlier. I had previously taken the car to Wesley Chapel BMW--now part of Morgan Auto Group--for an inspection, and they did not remove the paint. They got busy and only had one technician. They asked if I could get the oil changed today and come back in the morning to get tires and alignment. I stated yes I would. On my 40 min drive home I started to hear a knocking sound. I had to pull over, my car started giving me an error saying to cut the engine off, need oil. I looked under the hood and there was oil everywhere, I checked under the car and oil was leaking. I checked the oil and not a drop was in there. Thank God I had two qts in the car. I had to put them in just to make it 10 more minutes home. All of that oil has leaked out and is all on my garage floor. I think my engine is messed up now. Worst experience ever.

I came in right before Christmas to get a second opinion on repairs that were going to run me…read more$1600. they looked at it in less than an hour and told me that nothing needs to be repaired, my clamp just needed to be tightened. they didn't charge me anything when they could have easily scammed me like the other place was trying to. fast forward to 3 weeks later and my car is overheating again so I took it back. it took them over 4 hours to look at my car (irritating but they operate on a walk in basis), they fixed it and again decided not to charge me anything. I tipped them out of sheer principal. bottom line: these are honest people who operate with integrity. I will never go to another auto repair shop!
