They wanted a little under $2000 for all of these repairs or replacements. I paid for the oil change and air filter replacement. I took the paperwork they gave me to a garage down the street and they said that everything I was told was a complete lie. Transmition fluid needed changed with mileage but the plug was still there and it was not "all over the engine". Breaks were squeaky but fine. There was nothing wrong with the oil pan. She got the fluid changed today for much less than they wanted. This place sucks out loud. They just want to upcharge everything and take your money. Take your car to a real mechanic and not here.

Apparently an oil change doesn't include an oil filter, that's an extra $14. And there's a $7 service fee. They checked the cabin air filter, it was really dirty. They said it was $50 but they could give it to me for $35. I thought that was alright because earlier that day they had sent me a $25 coupon via text that I was also going to use. When I got the bill I questioned why they hadn't taken the $15 off of the cabin filter price. They said they can only take one coupon.... I rated them 2 stars instead of one because the guy couldn't have been nicer. I'm sure he was only doing what the manager or owner told him to do.

They wanted to charge $850 for a part that cost $130 and would only take 30 min/1 hr to replace. My husband ended up doing the work himself after realizing how easily and inexpensive it should be. So when we took my 2005 envoy into this AAMCO location, we were really happy with the prices and quality of service. They are ALWAYS busy, because they clearly do good work. They had my car ready by the next morning, and didn't try to tack on a bunch of unnecessary repairs or costs. The guys here are really friendly and seem very knowledgeable. So glad we finally found a good mechanic!
