In my many years or purchasing glasses I've never found a brand that is more comfortable and frames that are as durable as OGA. The current pair I'm wearing now are 4 years old and they could probably last another 4 or more. My prescription hasn't changed that much but it has changed slightly enough for me to get another pair. My last pair from here were sunglasses and the pair before where had Transitions ver 6. Pricing here is a little funny. The frames have price tags on them but the price you are quoted always is less than the "ticket" price. I paid for my pair upfront so I can get my receipt immediately and submit it for my benefit reimbursement. Since I've bought my last 3 pairs here I know I can trust them and that things will be just right. They had my measurements from last time so they didn't need to remeasure this time as my measurements were already stored on their computer system. I was in and out pretty quick which was good because I had somewhere to be right afterwards. With Transitions lenses they have to send them out to a lab which takes about a week which is fine because I have errands to run on the east end next weekend anyway.

I absolutely highly recommend Style Optical as they truly provided exceptional customer service, were on the ball and very efficient. He was able to address my issue about dry eyes (I do A LOT of computer work), and I didn't know that there were so many things you could do to help improve the situation. I also had a family history of glaucoma, Dr. So advised me to do a 3D scan called OCT to check out my optic nerve (to make sure I didn't have any damage or abnormality). Heather was the one who helped me with the scan, and she was very clear with the instructions The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, and I particularly remember Golpana (sp?) who helped me with the booking on the phone. I had been wearing the same Ray ban glasses for over 4 years - definitely time for a change! My…read moreprescription is medium high, and turns out I'm SUPER picky so the experience looking for new glasses became similar to when I searched for a wedding dress -- way too long, eventually hating everything, stressful and the budget went out the window in a desperate attempt to actually find something I liked! The worst part was every store I went to had awful customer service or literally not a single thing I wanted. I was desperate and worried I'd never get new glasses. Eight months into my search I finally found 312. First impression was good - Andrew, the owner, was helping other customers but still greeted us with a "hello", more than I could say for some other stores. The products are way more artistic and beautiful than run of the mill, and he helped identify what I liked and didn't, and was patient with me as I ended up coming in over 5 times to try things on!! Customer service never wavered and he was always honest and up front if something didn't look right or if he thought I'd regret it. Icing on the cake was a trunk sale with all the colours of Andy Wolf glasses, so I could see what they all looked like - that including Prosecco and Lindt chocolate! My glasses were expensive but so were many I looked at that were less impressive. Thanks to Andrew for his patience and he definitely made a lifetime customer out of me! I'd even go there for eye exams because the atmosphere is so welcoming and chill.

And everytime it fell out it kept on getting scratched more and more. I brought it back to where I originally bought it & they popped the lense back in. The first two times he did not charge me. Then he said the next time there will be a $10 charge for putting the lense back in. Why? They were new glasses I bought from them! Many years later I am realizing I should of demanded a refund. Moreover I should have been offered a new pair of glasses from the store from the start as they were clearly faulty. Naive me. Chalk that up to growing pains. But in the end I feel mega swindled. Since the lens kept falling out I should of realized that they were faulty & other issues would ensue. Many years I had to be frustrated with one of the lenses falling out. Anyways long story short - My glasses now are total trash. First pair of glasses with a sad ending. Now I have realized too late that all the glasses I bought previously from other stores, I never had a problem with my lenses falling out. I mean I still have all my old glasses from the past 30 years & they are still wearable; perhaps not in vogue. Please learn from my lesson people. Otherwise you're out hundreds of dollars. And you will just end up having to buy another pair - shelling out more hundreds just around the corner... Take it seriously... Also always have a back up pair.
