Honestly this place used to be my go to dry cleaners in town. I brought a short dress here to get…read moresome bronzer out. They missed a spot on the back and didn't realize til I got home. I brought it back to see what could be done and the guy was sooo rude!! I said I hate to be that person but they refused to take the dress back, give me even a partial refund, or be sympathetic to the inconvenience! They said they were supposed to put a tag that it wasn't cleaned all the way but didn't. Maybe he was having a bad day. Do better Lapels!!!!

Back in the summer I noticed some spiders between my fishing boat and a hard to get to corner of the garage. I forgot about them until Gauge showed up for the quarterly treatment. I told him about them and he took care of the problem. Yesterday 12/22/25 we were in town having lunch and my wife's cell phone rang. It was Gauge and he was at the house to spray. We had forgotten about the appointment and gave him the garage door and basement door codes so he could get in the house to spray. He is very trustworthy and I was comfortable with him being in our house without us there. We arrived at home as he was wrapping up and he told me everything he did and handed me the bill. Anytime I've had issues with mice or ants or spiders Pickens had always eliminated the problem for me.

Ok great recycling center to bring your scrap metal here and get paid money for it. I called them…read moreon the phone a couple days ago and their prices for metal are the highest I have ever heard of which is great. They pay $10 per 100 pounds for scrap metal. They are busy too as I saw at least 4 or 5 big machines that look like backhoes working. On Scene: I pulled up and called weighed with the scrap metal. Then, I unloaded it. Next, I got weighed again and they subtracted the difference. However, you have to drive down about 300 yards to get paid. Furthermore, you get paid by check. Pretty cool place to do business.

Shocked at how much better Oxford laundry service is for cleaning clothes and removing stains and only $1 per pound. In seven weeks he's had 33 pounds. Guessing his second semester will be less than half of the other service. AND for shirts with collars-- they press and hang them for no extra charge. AND they have your laundry ready the same day. I don't think it would be much cheaper to do it yourself in the dorm!
