I told him about them and he took care of the problem. Yesterday 12/22/25 we were in town having lunch and my wife's cell phone rang. It was Gauge and he was at the house to spray. We had forgotten about the appointment and gave him the garage door and basement door codes so he could get in the house to spray. He is very trustworthy and I was comfortable with him being in our house without us there. We arrived at home as he was wrapping up and he told me everything he did and handed me the bill. Anytime I've had issues with mice or ants or spiders Pickens had always eliminated the problem for me.

I'm currently on an extended visit from NYC, and about a month ago, I noticed a very serious ant problem at my mother's home. I had her ask the apartment office to put her on the schedule for their contracted pest control. While I didn't get to meet the technician during that first visit, the results spoke for themselves: the ants were completely gone. Meeting Adam today was a breath of fresh air. He is an incredibly well-mannered, standup guy who took the time to educate me on the specific products he was using to mitigate the ant and roach issues. It's rare to find someone who is both highly effective at their job and so willing to share their knowledge with the customer. If you're looking for reliable service, I cannot recommend this company enough. Do yourself a favor and specifically ask for Adam.

Rain had been in the forecast all week, yet there was no prior indication that it would affect the appointment. It also was not raining at the time of the scheduled service. Days later, they reached out to reschedule for another week out. By that point, we had already hired another company and completed treatment for $200 less before they even attempted to follow up. Would not recommend.

We hired Mike almost a year ago to sod our front yard and install a sprinkler system. Included with…read moreour $6K package was the guarantee that he would treat the lawn for a year to ensure that it was well established and healthy. To his credit, Mike and crew did a great job with the installation. The yard looked great. Mike promised he would come back to tweak any problems that came up. However, after that, Mike flaked out and was completely unreliable. We rarely can get him to respond to a text or phone call, much less come out to the house to do any promised work on the yard, repairs to the sprinkler system, or lawn maintenance. And now it is nearly May and we're still waiting for the March lawn treatment he said he would do when we tracked him down in February. We really like Mike and want him to succeed in his business, but are completely disappointed that he can't follow through on any promises in order to actually finish the job or make good on his intentions. Wish we could recommend him highly, but can't.

When I retrieved my items I found several dead mice, at least 5 live lizards and saw 3 live black widow spiders. I also found that my mattress I stored was ruined by water damage. I tried calling on the day of move out and got no answer. When I spoke with someone the following day, I was told I only needed to give a 10 day notice before the next payment to not be charged. I am well within the 10 day period as my payments are due on the first of each month. I then received a call 30 minutes later saying they require a 30 day notice of move out? That would be an absolutely ridiculous expectation for a storage unit. The lack of clear communication and poor pest control warrant the one they are receiving from me. Please find pictures below for your reference. There are none of the black widows because I immediately stomped on those- I have a HUGE fear of spiders.

However, being that they're always dead, I assume the pest control is sufficient. The only other thing I wonder about is that the current advertised prices are lower than what we are paying now. I feel if they have lowered the prices for new contracts we should also be able to get the same prices since we've been customers for over 6 years. If they allowed us the same price as new customers I would have added stars to my rating.
