I don't normally take the time to review pest control services, but Adam's work is so exceptional that I had to make sure his company--and anyone else looking for help--knows he is a master at his craft. I'm currently on an extended visit from NYC, and about a month ago, I noticed a very serious ant problem at my mother's home. I had her ask the apartment office to put her on the schedule for their contracted pest control. While I didn't get to meet the technician during that first visit, the results spoke for themselves: the ants were completely gone. Meeting Adam today was a breath of fresh air. He is an incredibly well-mannered, standup guy who took the time to educate me on the specific products he was using to mitigate the ant and roach issues. It's rare to find someone who is both highly effective at their job and so willing to share their knowledge with the customer. If you're looking for reliable service, I cannot recommend this company enough. Do yourself a favor and specifically ask for Adam. read more

The tenant had to wait over a week with termites actively swarming, as that was the earliest appointment available. However, less than an hour before the scheduled time, the company cancelled due to rain in the forecast. Rain had been in the forecast all week, yet there was no prior indication that it would affect the appointment. It also was not raining at the time of the scheduled service. Days later, they reached out to reschedule for another week out. By that point, we had already hired another company and completed treatment for $200 less before they even attempted to follow up. We signed up for the service almost a year ago they're supposed to be out here quarterly for regular pest control and yearly termite control since I signed up I've had to call them two out of three times in the last year to come out and perform the pest control. We will be canceling and when our year is up I cannot recommend this company. They talk a good game. But they don't provide the service that they're billing for. And oh by the way they managed to build monthly with no problem. read more

I have roof rats and called several pest companies. 901 came the following day! They were very friendly and explained everything. What a great experience over such yucky pests. The price was very reasonable - much lower than expected. I highly recommend this company for pest control. Evidently roof rats are very common in Bartlett. All of the technicians at this company are professional, arrive on time, and a complete and thorough service call. To begin with, I have no knowledge of any other services provided by 901 Pest Control. This review is about their termite service. I had a termite contract with a company that was bought out by 901 Pest Control a few years ago. The prior company covered termite damage, once treated, for any new infestations. Be forewarned, 901 Pest Control DOES NOT! While having been under the new contract with 901 Pest Control for over two years, I had to have them come out in December 2019 to treat an area at a corner in my house where I saw termite activity. I had them back out recently to treat the exact same area. I can now see that coming out and treating the area after infestation is discovered, with no results and no damage guaranty, is going to cost me too much in repairs. It's time to cut my losses and move on. Hopefully, the termites they treated here this time are dead and not doing any additional damage. I am dropping 901 Pest Control and moving to a company that will guaranty their work. In response to my earlier review and answered by Richard L H. of 901 Pest Control Business Owner Let's be accurate so as not to reduce this to NO STARS with the excuses. Statement, (a.k.a. excuse)- "Your home has conditions conducive to termite infestation and limited our access to provide treatment to fully remedy the infestation. Until bushes are trimmed to allow access to exterior wall there is no way to properly treat and control." Response- WRONG! There is ample access to the exterior wall. All damage and visible signs were INSIDE the house. Termites were coming from the ground that my house sits on, not the bushes. The Memphis area is conducive to termites. Surprise! Statement- "Unfortunately Forehand Services, the company that originally treated your home, provided you with a limited 4-year term contract with a damage repair repair warranty. This is common for some small pest companies to use inexpensive termiticides that will not be effective in controlling termite infestations 5 years down the road." Response- I had an indefinite contract. The chemicals 901 used didn't work anywhere near 5 years. They didn't work 6 months. They were back 6 months after they treated the first time, to treat the same area, again. Statement- "At 901 Pest Control, our practice is to use the best termite products on the market to treat structures and offer termite contracts that never expire (no term limit) as we want our customers for life." Response- The contract never expires, as with my old contract with Forehand. That's great, but I'm paying for the termite damage that you couldn't control. Terminix and other bigger companies guaranty their termite elimination AND will repair damages after they have treated. They evidently have better confidence in their treatment program. Statement- "We do not offer damage repair warranties on homes with pre-existing termite damage as that is a business decision to help ensure we remain financially viable to help serve and take care of all our customers for years come" Response- Do you offer damage repair warranties on termite treatments on new homes, or homes with no prior termite damage? Statement- "When choosing a termite company to treat your home it is important to evaluate companies and the lifetime cost of their contracts." Response- I did, and 901 will cost me too much in the future. Statement- "With 901 Pest Control, our customers will never have to pay for another treatment of their home or building." Response- But you WILL have to pay for damage when termites show up, again. I don't want to start a review war and no other reviews will be made on my behalf, unless some other statements need to be corrected. read more
