They are ice skates that have been customized and turned into roller skates. In great condition and were fairly priced. I've only ever seen leather white or black vintage skates but these are suede and red! I've been looking for a pair for months and this is the first pair I have ever found and I lucked out by them being my size! I've already took them out for a spin and they're perfect, just need to switch the indoor wheels for outdoor wheels and I'm all set! They had a wide variety of booths with everything you could ever imagine including a booth full of video games and my personal favourite Pyrex! Definitely worth the drive from Calgary and will be stopping here more in the future! The staff was super friendly and kind!

I…read morealways love walking into thrift stores and seeing what people have discarded, only to be rediscovered by someone else. As soon as you walk in you realize this isn't your average thrift store. The store is well laid out, organized and has that fantastic smell of used gear (but in a good way); it all brings back good memories of the past. They have a good assortment of records (yes vinyl is making a comeback). And they are dirt cheap; mostly costing less than a buck! I picked up two records and it cost me a toonie. How great is that!! The store shelves are organized in a great way, great friendly and inviting owners, wonderful jazz music was playing in the background, housewares, books, clothing, toys, electronics and even furniture were available to snap up. Be careful, walk into Junk in the Trunk and you'll be walking into a time-warp that you may not want to leave.

Well I can honestly say I have experienced both good and bad today!! This was young man filling the selves that was very helpful when I asked him about a product I was looking for he knew exactly what I was looking for. After he found what I wanted he was so nice and asked if I needed help with anything else. What a wonderful surprise that was. I said no thank you and thanks for helping me out. I finished with my shopping and proceeded to checkout where I experienced negative attitude towards me as if I was inconveniencing her day. All I said hello and how she was. I was set back by her attitude. The how dare I talk to her, she looked at me and never said a word. Pointed to pay gave my receipt and started the next customers order. No thank you and have a nice day. Wow so mind blowing how people like that have a job!!!! I'm not sure because she was young or just having a bad day. -some shelves were empty -produce empty or not looking good to buy -nice a clean inside the store -plenty of parking -all so have a gas station in the same lot -I don't come here very often only if I absolutely have to. During my visit 3 weeks ago to do an exchange…read moreand some shopping an employee working on the sales floor was wearing her mask as a chin warmer, she was coughing without covering her mouth several times while stocking garments that people will be purchasing and touching. The sales clerks action made me feel unsafe, nervous and very uncomfortable since we are living in a COVID19 world I knew I had quickly do my return and leave the store. I mentioned my concern to another staff member who seemed to not care, she covered for her colleague saying she has asthma and can't wear a mask. I decide to make a call to head office to voice my concerns. I'm still waiting for someone to get back to me 3 plus weeks later. The Silence speaks volumes and says to me that Reitman does not care about its customers. Maybe my next stop is a call to Alberta Health. In my opinion this store needs to be visited by the health board I'm sure they will care. Shoppers beware!

I asked her for a vial of humalog (my normal insulin), and she denied my request because I didn't have a prescription with me or my health care card... INSULIN IS SUPPOSED TO BE PROVIDED OVER THE COUNTER, WITH OR WITHOUT A PRESCRIPTION/HEALTHCARE/INSURANCE (at full cost, which I was prepared to pay), AS IT CAN BE A LIFE OR DEATH SITUATION TO NOT HAVE... Luckily, I was able to make it to the Airdrie Walmart pharmacy in time, before they closed, where they were quick to provide me with what I needed with no questions asked.
