For quite some time we've been looking, high and low, for a nice antique parlor chair for a room we're renovating. While at your shop we came across a chair we thought might do but were unsure of the color, size and how it would be in the room. Went there with my boyfriends family and came across my dream vintage find. A pair of vintage roller skates, which happen to fit perfectly, not too big and not too small. They are ice skates that have been customized and turned into roller skates. In great condition and were fairly priced. I've only ever seen leather white or black vintage skates but these are suede and red! I've been looking for a pair for months and this is the first pair I have ever found and I lucked out by them being my size! I've already took them out for a spin and they're perfect, just need to switch the indoor wheels for outdoor wheels and I'm all set! They had a wide variety of booths with everything you could ever imagine including a booth full of video games and my personal favourite Pyrex! Definitely worth the drive from Calgary and will be stopping here more in the future! The staff was super friendly and kind! read more

It was a nice break on my drive from Edmonton to Calgary. It was easy to find and is much larger than it looks on the outside. The store was clean and organized. There was a whole room of furniture. I did find the prices a little high but that may be do to its closeness to Calgary. I was looking for inexpensive costume jewellery to use in projects but didn't find any. I love this antique mall. There is so many things to look at. I spent about an hour or an hour and a half just looking around. They have very cool signs for a man cave, my boyfriend and I found the perfect sign for our game room. This antique mall has a little bit of everything. The staff were extremely friendly, I loved chatting with them at checkout. Definitely recommend this antique mall, even if you just want something to do, it is very fun walking around looking at everything they have to offer! :) read more

Nice selection of a particular item I collect. I walk up to the counter patiently waiting for the guy on the till to acknowledge me. Meanwhile one of the ladies who was showing a customer some other items comes up with this customer (who had items waiting at the counter) and guy on the till looks up and rings her through . So I wait patiently to ask him a question. Meanwhile another customer comes up and same thing (guess he had some items eating at the till.) I quickly browse a display case across from the till as this guy is paying for his purchases and return to the line before he is done. Customer leaves and guy at the till ignores me fiddling with something on the till. I patiently wait and after another 2 minutes of being ignored I go find my gf and tell her what just happened so she puts her stuff back and we left. The items I wanted to buy were reasonably priced but the service absolutely sucked. read more

I stopped by the mall on my way to Calgary. I had visited and purchased from this establishment many times, even when it was located in a small house in Inglewood, Calgary. This time however was going to be my last visit! On this visit I had purchased a fragile glass light shade and a heavy chalkware pear string holder. As I was paying for the items the staff was wrapping the items and gave me the bag after I had paid for the transaction. When I arrived home and brought the bag into the house it lightly swung from the weight of the chalkware and bumped into the door frame as I unlocked the door. When I checked the items the shade was broken. It was wrapped in a thin sheet of paper and that was it...then placed in the same bag as the heavy chalkware also wrapped in a thin piece of paper. Of course I was upset this had happened but I couldn't help but feel that if the items, especially the shade was wrapped in bubble wrap it would have been safe. I figured I would call the store and ask why it wasn't wrapped in bubble wrap. When I called I asked to speak to the manager. A woman came on the phone and I explained what happened and asked about the bubble wrap. She said they never use it but felt bad and offered a store gift certificate. I never asked for one and I was shocked and thought how nice that was. WRONG! I gave her my name and headed back to Airdrie. When I got to the store the employee recognized me and went to get the manager or so I thought. It ended up that the woman I had talked to was not the manager and that's when it got ugly...fast! The manager was there and she flew into a rage that they are not responsible for items when they leave the store and that if I wanted bubble wrap I should have asked for it! She was loud, obnoxious and rude about the whole thing! I was so shocked I told her to forget about the gift certificate when she brought it up, but no, she had to go on and on! The lady had completely lost it! I left vowing to never shop there again! I never asked for the gift certificate, it was offered. And I certainly didn't expect to be treated like that! I will never go there again. At the very least she should have called me back to rescind the gift certificate and save me a trip back to Airdrie but I guess it was better to humiliate me in public. I finally had the chance to stop here and I have to say I had way too much fun. I was looking for something for my backyard and there were so many items I couldn't make up my mind. I did however find some really cool things for inside my house. I make jewelry as well and couldn't believe my luck when I saw a box full of old pocket watch pieces. I would like to go back every week but I think it would be bad for my bank account. I will be back soon though as I saw a number of things for Christmas gifts. I found the prices reasonable and the staff was helpful. They also knew where things were which is amazing considering how much stock there is in this place. If you do go make sure you give yourself time, this isn't a quick pop in/pop out place and take a bottle of water with you. It was quite dry inside and we were parched when we left. read more

When I went there there was a verity of different things my favourite thing there are the foreign currency.plus there was even old Canadian.there prices are awesome great staff if you need help just ask them they will be there in a heartbeat I got a 1953 queen elizabeth coronation medal for $4.00 I would do anything to go there everyday of my life read more

There are so few antique shops left around. There are a lot of interesting things to look at and everything is well laid out. The down side is the distance from Calgary and the prices are too high for a lot of things. read more

Definitely a fantastic place to browse and find unique gifts/home decor. This is one of few antique malls that are actually slightly kid-friendly! Their aisles are wide enough for my son to sit in his stroller and not reach stuff on the shelves. Prices are fair, staff is friendly and it's not cluttered or 'junky'. read more

Horrific experience. $100 antique bulova watch requires $90 worth of repairs. Spoke to woman at mall who hung up on me twice after stating that there was no expectation for it to work and pretty much accusing me of dropping it in the parking lot. Will never shop here again and will make a point of letting everyone know about it. Awful. Gives all dealers a bad name!!! read more

Lots of offerings, nicely laid out, polite staff. My issue was that I wanted to buy an item that the dealer had neglected to price. The staff said she is notorious for this and tried to phone her to get her price but couldn't get a hold of her. The staff offered to take my name and number but I'm not local and wasn't going to return. I offered to give $5 for the item (comparable to other items from the same booth) and if the dealer didn't like that, too bad, it's her own fault for not putting a price on it in the first place. The staff understood but said they couldn't do that. So I couldn't buy it. I know it is not the staff's fault but they should have a policy with their dealers that offers will be accepted when the dealers fail to price things. Overall, GREAT furniture but for smaller items/ambience/policy, check out the antique store in Canmore, much better. read more
