Ariel was a lifesaver! My mother was arriving Friday, and somehow it got to be Thursday and not only was I swamped with work, but I'm not the domestic, apron-donning debutante I appear to be. (chuckle). Right. "I need someone to clean this place" I thought desperately, as I combed through Yelp listings and frantically shot off a few emails. Ariel replied swiftly, showed up that very night to give me a quote, and came back Friday at 4pm to clean this sucker. Very accommodating and professional. Now, I was terribly spoiled in Chicago with a fantastic cleaning person...so I'd be remiss if I didn't comment on the clean factor. While it was certainly good, and much better than I could've done myself in the time frame...I was left feeling like there were definitely more than few missed spots. I ran over the place with a rag and polish and vacuumed up some spots of dog/cat hair that he had missed after he left. Not a huge deal, but this review would fail if it weren't effective in giving honest feedback. If it were an ongoing situation for me, I'm sure this could be rectified. Ariel is very easy to talk to, and a hard worker, creating a nice little client list for himself. Also, during this two-day time frame he was very communicative (sent me an invoice beforehand for a flat rate) and extremely reliable. I was in transition between who I used to take care of my apartment. I am super picky about who does my home and I only hire people who I know personally for a while. In passing, Ariel mentioned his company and I decided to give him a shot. He not only surpassed my expectations, but homeboy even opened up the switches on the windows to clean the outsides, too! Great rates, professional and courteous, terrific job cleaning my place and unlike so many cleaning companies in town, Ariel brings his own supplies! C'mon. We have a 3 bedroom apt in Manhattan and NO ONE had better listed rates than Angel Cleaning. We were of course concerned that we might be sacrificing a little quality for the price but Ariel showed up with his brother and they did a fantastic job. Oven and stove, inside the fridge, showers and tubs, floors and countertops...all spotless. Really nice guys too! We'll use them exclusively from now on. read more

Ariel is the best! I had tried another cleaning service before. Found them unreliable and inconsistent. Ariel does all the work himself, so you get his very best every time. He's on-time, available when needed, and does a great job making my 1BR apartment look brand new from top to bottom. If I have to say anything constructive, he misses a spot here & there. If I could give Ariel 10 stars, I would! My wife and I bought a brownstone in Park Slope that needed a DEEP cleaning. We emailed Ariel at 5:00 on a Saturday and he got back to us within an hour. He came out to see the place the next day--Sunday--and give us an estimate, and was back three days later to clean. Ariel is incredibly responsive, thorough, and professional. He prices are more than reasonable, and he does a fantastic job. We intend to retain his services for as long as we live there. If you are looking for any sort of cleaning service, you should absolutely hire him!!! read more

Ariel is spectacular! I hired him for a rush job: a deep clean of a rental apartment between tenants. Thanks to Ariel, that apartment has never been so clean. He scrubbed and polished every inch of the place and every surface--from floor to ceiling. Cabinets, walls, woodwork, floors, appliances were all spotless inside and out. (And the previous tenant had left it a disaster) When I walked into the apartment after he had left, my jaw dropped. It sparkled. Communication -- done entirely by email -- was easy. He asked all the right questions, followed up as the cleaning day approached, and followed through every step of the way. And his price was extremely reasonable. He even brought the supplies. My broker hired Ariel from Your Condo Angel Clean to do a deep clean on my Brooklyn Heights studio. The grout in the bathroom was black with dirt/mold, there was food caked onto the counters and stove, and what looked years of dust accumulated in some areas. Several hours later I came home to a sparkling clean apartment. Ariel had done such a good job I hardly recognized it, and I've hired him to come back and clean bi-weekly. His services are incredibly affordable for the level of cleanness and customer service he provides. He asked the right questions to make sure he was taking care of the areas most important to me, and he did a great job in cleaning those areas. Ariel seems like a very nice guy, but I was disappointed with his service. For $120, he cleaned for about 2.5 hours (so, about $50/hr-- wish I earned that!). Before he left, I was able to point out some very basic things he hadn't done-- e.g., cleaning the bathroom floor behind the door. I later noticed lots more-- he didn't empty trash bins around the house or take out the trash when he left, he didn't clean the tile baseboards in the bathroom, didn't clean out the hair-catcher in the shower drain, etc. The stove-top had been wiped clean, but not really scrubbed-- I could get more dirt off with my finger-nail, so a little Bon Ami should have done the job. As I say, he was a nice guy: he bought green cleaners at our request and when I offered to reimburse him, gave them to us free (because the cleaning ended up being so short). But considering that he had told us to expect 3-4 hours, and then only did 2.5 because he said that was all there was to do, I was very surprised to see how much more he could have done. read more
