We had rented from them several times and were heading into a busy year. He asked how many more times we figured we were going to rent from him, and recommended we buy a used scooter. This has probably saved us several 100 so far. We bought a hitch rack to take it around on, they put it on for us. I was looking for a rollator, but every one I saw was too narrow (I'm a big guy). Before we were through asking, he walked into the next room and brought over one. It's in our car now. It fits me perfectly. Their prices are reasonable, they are wonderful. Give them your business.

My gf's mom recently moved into senior living in Ankeny and she needed a quality walker. I remembered there was a Hammer Medical supply store near where I live. We pulled in and I noticed the Hammer sign was gone. The medical supply store was still there, but it had been rebranded to NuCara Home Medical. We walked in, the place seemed empty, but a voice in the back called out greeting us. The desks where the staff sits are not directly in the front. One of them walked up to meet us and ask us what we were looking for. From there she took us through the walkers they stocked, their price points, features, warranty etc. Once my gf had selected one the process was pretty quick and painless. Except for when I had to load it up into her car... Lol The checkout process at the point of sale is thorough and they go through EVERYTHING with you, but my guess is that's normally what is needed for a transaction that requires insurance paperwork. We seemed like we might be an anomally for them...more like a straight retail sale. All in all a really good experience.

Horrible pharmacy!!! I ordered a prescription to be filled Friday 10/24. Got a text that my order…read morewas ready at 7:24 PM, drove right there. The pharmacy closed at 6PM and a sign on the door advised the pharmacy would be closed until 10AM Monday. Got text messages all weekend saying my prescription was ready (the pharmacy is closed until Monday) and then a got a text telling me the pharmacy was closed and they would advise when it reopened. Never received any text advising they were reopened but I went there straight from work today and they CLOSED AT 6PM! Tried calling another Walgreens to see if they could fill it and no luck there. I advised that I was leaving at 4:30 AM tomorrow on a trip and was told I could call my Dr's office and have them call the prescription into their location. It is 6:15 at night, the Dr's office closed at 4!!! Horrible customer service and I refuse to deal with this crap any longer. Been a loyal customer for 30+ years but no more. I am moving every single prescription I have out of their reach so hopefully I won't ever have to deal with them again!
