Sherwin Williams consistently lives up to the their product and that's why we love the paint here and everything else that comes along with it. These folks are located on Albany Ave in Kingston and open really early in the morning- something my husband and I liked- especially since we come to our home in the Catskills on weekends. The space is well-kept, service is professional, price is fine and it's simple to get to.

I researched some low VOC paints and turns out Sherwin Williams sells a good one (their Duration line). That's about as much as I knew when I went in. The sales person Lynn gave some really useful input about the color choices I was considering and sheen level - without being pushy. And i got 30% off because they were having a Labor Day sale. Anyway I was really pleased with the final selection and professionalism at this store and will probably go here for all my paint needs upstate. Ask for Lynn - she was awesome.

My favorite shopping is for holidays. They're one of the few stores to have classic leaf pumpkin bags for Halloween. You can drive around the building behind the old Arrow pharmacy (I think it's a liquor store now) or if you're coming down route 4, make the hazardous left from the main road. I had Hunter Douglas blinds installed a few years ago from Caligari's. I was impressed with the…read moresales person who helped me pick out the blind that fit my particular needs. When the blinds arrive Ryan came to install them and he couldn't have been more friendly and professional. The blinds look gorgeous! My grandchildren were visiting this pasted weekend and, unfortunately, broke one of the blinds. I call Caligari's thinking I would have to purchase a new blind but they informed me that it might be able to be repaired. I scheduled a service call and it was Ryan who came again; I was so glad. He was able to fix the blind right away! For just the cost of a service call the blind is working again! He let me know that he isn't always able to fix blinds on site sometime they need to be sent out for repair, but if he can fix them, he does. So nice! The blinds are pricy but, in my option, worth every penny. Beth P.

Had a carpet installed today. The installer was rude and unfriendly. What was worse, he refused to put on a mask, claiming he had asthma and couldn't breathe in one. Only when I phoned the store, did he put one on and even then he was rude about it. I spoke to someone at the store who said that only Kaitlyn could deal with this and they would contact her right away. But no one called me back. Atrocious customer service, and you're paying top dollar for the carpeting to boot.

When I called the Lowe's in Catskill, was told the installation was done by another company but didn't know which one. How could they not know who was doing work for them? I never would have knowingly bought the microwave had I known the extra fees.

I have witnessed a women with a strong accent who I'm pretty sure is a manager say something along the lines of "Jesus Christ cant you people do anything" at her employees in front of customers just because they called her for help. I've also witnessed her yell at them from across the store over little things that are beyond their control when they are very clearly doing their best considering they always seem short staffed. maybe she should realize they could use some help instead of being belittled and made to feel like crap. If I were them I'd quit. its very obviously a toxic environment and no one deserves that kind of treatment from someone they're supposed to look up to!!!!
