After spending thousands of dollars purchasing trees from Jake's Pondside Nursery and having them…read moreplanted through their service, I am extremely disappointed with the lack of follow-through and customer care. The trees came with a one-year warranty. Unfortunately, two of them died within that warranty period in 2025. I contacted the nursery numerous times and spoke with Heather, who manages the business. I was repeatedly assured that the issue would be addressed and taken care of, but no resolution was ever provided. After following up again in 2026, I was surprised to be told that the trees had supposedly been planted by "someone else," despite my understanding that the purchase and planting had been arranged through Jake's Pondside Nursery. I gave the business many opportunities to honor their warranty and resolve the situation, but after repeated calls and promises, nothing was done. Based on my experience, I found their service disappointing, their prices high, and their customer support after the sale unacceptable. I would strongly caution others to get all warranty promises in writing and be careful before making a large purchase here.

She understood I did not want the typical FTD looking funeral arrangements. What I wanted was for my moms flowers to feel natural and garden like. The Rosery worked with hydrangea, peonies, iris's, mimosa, curly willow and lots of forsythia. They coordinated all the arrangements ordered by friends to match what I had on order. It was beautiful. He returned several weeks later to do the pruning - probably the tree's first in over 50 years. The tree is now much lighter and looks great - cant wait for this year's crop of apples! Jerry is extremely personable and very thoughtful. During his two visits he provided very helpful information about tree care. Also Jerry and his colleague (oops, cant remember his name) did a terrific job of cleaning up. I also appreciated that New Leaf kept me updated about my appointment date and the time of arrival. New Leaf finished a 4 day tree removal project yesterday and my wife and I could not be happier…read morewith the outcome. The project involved taking 10 large trees down from around the house and pool area. We were amazed at how neat they were at the end of each day, as well as the brisk pace they were able to work. Professional tree services can be costly, but we feel that we were treated very fairly, and based on our knowledge of other area tree services, New Leaf is a tremendous value. Stop in for…read moreeverything from gorgeous flower arrangements to yoga crystals, unique candles, and even housemade sauerkrauts! (Get it? Flower-kraut? *sad trombone noise*) Anyway! I got my mom a Firewood candle and a yoga crystal keychain for her birthday, and the shopkeeper was generous enough to wrap the gift in an adorable custom bag. The woman who was working was also very knowledgeable about the different crystals, and helped me select the perfect one for the gift. I will definitely be coming back here next time I am in town! I can't wait to try the sauerkrauts next time!
