My daughter attended this daycare for about a month and in this ONE month, she has a busted lip TWICE, got sick from virus's that were going around (understandable to an extent, but if you're cleaning and sanitizing your facility and having parents come to get their child if they're obviously sick or refusing the child to attend for the day if they're obviously sick, no one else's child should be sick for 3 weeks straight), none of her teachers could explain what happened or why, i never got a phone call about it or was given an incident report for either times and to top it all off, the first time we noticed her busted lip we were told "she came to the daycare" that way and they were just letting us know. I know what my child looks like before i leave her and i wouldve noticed something like that (IF this were this case) but it wasn't and it happened there. I no longer felt safe for my child to attend this daycare so i removed her and let the directors know. On the phone call to let the assistant director know, she sounded sort of nonchalant, didn't ask when it happened or if my daughter was okay, didn't offer to come to a solution or speak to her teachers about it. I always felt uneasy about leaving her there but i figured it was just because it was her first time going to daycare... NOPE trust your gut mamas. Whenever i picked her up she would always cry and run to me and she never looked well kept like they hadn't wiped her nose all day or changed her diaper. These things matter otherwise what am i paying you to watch my kid for ? She attended her new academy today and she loved it from the moment we walked in, forgot i was even there before i left and i can see her on the cameras having fun. I'm glad i made the switch and if you don't want to have to deal with this, you should avoid this daycare and find a place that makes you feel good about leaving your child there. I have a few problems with this particular approach. First off, if I'm paying money for weekly childcare and the directors first option when a child isn't listening is to have the parents come pick them up! Huh?? My 3yo is no saint (whose 3yo is) and she throws tantrums and doesn't listen at times but it is not as if she was tearing the facility up. Numbers were provided to the facility so we can be called, in the event she wasn't listening. Last week I was called by her teacher and I spoke with my daughter and wasn't called again for the day. The director called today and I explained that I would tell to her but all she kept saying was your daughter won't listen to me. The director's English is not necessarily the best as I had a hard time understanding her. When I came to pick up my daughter I was expecting her to be in the front, however, she was in the back with all the kids eating. She (at the time) was not causing any distractions, so if she was that uncontrollable then how was the "licensed" staff able to get her in control. I explained my displeasure to both the assistant director and director. Families work and fortunately I was off to take care of the situation, but in normal circumstances who can mid-morning have the freedom to just leave work. This wasn't the 1st time this happened. And again this was my daughter's 3rd week. I would bet my life that this is not the 1st strong-willed 3yo this facility has dealt with and I'm sure it's not the last. I wished them the best but future potential customers be warned.

Prior to attending Kindercare Spring Branch we had our baby at another daycare that had decent reviews, but it wasn't AT ALL what we thought (i'll keep this positive and leave them out of this). Anyways, we were in the market to find a new daycare and came across this location. (I have always loved Kindercare and even attended as a child and have had many family members who worked for the company. All in all, a great place for kind) Since my son has been attending this location we have immediately seen the difference in his social skills, cognition ability and overall attitude, as well as the level of care he is receiving. The director, Ms. Crystal is GREAT. Not only is she super responsive, but she also made our family feel comfortable immediately. I am able to get an almost immediate responses whenever I message with a question and she even follows up via phone call. Our family also loves Ms. Ashley, the assistant director. She is super friendly and has great rapport with both kiddos and parents.I literally feel so comfortable knowing my son is under their management. One thing that I really like about this location is how clean it is, especially during Covid. At our last daycare, my son was constantly sick and would often have dry snot on his face at pick up. This has NEVER HAPPENED at KinderCare Spring Branch. In fact, every time we pick him up hes clean, and smells as good (if not better) than when he arrived. Being a new mom I was worried about leaving my baby in a new spot, especially since you are not able to enter due to Covid restrictions. This anxiety has been put at ease thanks to the periodically snap shots of my sons day. I can see the enriched activities he is participating in and honestly, I can see a major improvement in his cognition due to some of these activities. It was so important for me to find a daycare that kept my baby clean and healthy, but also helped develop him mentally. He has grown substantially in his abilities since being there. My son has been attending Spring Branch Kindercare since he's been about 6 months old and he's…read morecurrently 2.5 years old. Prior to daycare we had a nanny but she wasn't what we thought she was, but that's a different story. Anyways we were in a pinch and needed to find a daycare. In a span of one week I toured 4 different daycares. We chose Kindercare because 1. Ms. Crystal is super responsive and during the tour she answered the list of questions we had clearly, 2. Ms. Lorena had been the main teacher in the infant room for a long time (and she's still there and she really was wonderful with our son while he was in the infant room). 3. I really liked how the babies were getting tummy time and they don't use bouncers/rockers or those sit to stand circular play things. The current assistant director, Ms. Ashley is wonderful and I think she's helped improve this Kindercare location. My son was lucky enough to have her as his teacher in the toddler room before she became to assistant director. In the room my son is now in, there has been one teacher (Ms Shay) that's been in that room since he's started and the second teacher/ helper in that room has changed about 2 or 3 times. I think Ms. Shay has been super helpful with my son's potty training. They really try to adhere to what the parent wants, which made it easier to be more consistent with how the potty training is going at home. One of the or major reasons why we like Kindercare is that they will give your child the food you pack him ( if you choose to do that). In the beginning I would pack all of my son's solid foods because I wanted to make sure he was used to the food I cooked and that I could make sure he got plenty of nutrients as we did not want him to start eating meat too early or get too used to the food offered at the daycare. I won't say it's perfect, nothing ever is, but I honestly don't think we could have made a better choice in the grand scheme of things*. And with the covid pandemic, they've stayed open and have taken the proper precautions to keep the teachers and children safe. It's not as easy to talk to the teachers anymore since I don't want to hold them up at pick up, but I have emailed and they are able to get back to me the within 24hrs about my questions about how my son was doing. If there's one negative I think it is the child to teacher ratio. They go with the state limit, so needless to say I think they could use more teachers. *Side story - there was one point where we were seriously upset and wanted to change daycares because of my son getting bit and we weren't sure if the biting would stop. But after talking with Ms. Crystal about the situation, she laid out the plan to deal with it and the biting stopped. Granted we had to get to step 3 of the plan (remove the bitter from the class). But it showed me that they were really willing to fix the issue and not ignore or brush it under the rug.

Our son (19 months) just made the transition from the infant center. The toddler center is a whole new world with different crafts and learning activities. I am very pleased with his teachers and the schedule they keep. The building is secure with a coded lock - everyone who enters must key in the code to enter. My favorite part is the app called class dojo where they upload photos throughout the day. I knew from the start I wanted a school that gave me updates throughout the day - it literally brightens my day when they post photos and helps keep me informed how his day is going and what they are doing. I feel like this school is a real hidden gem.

This Facility was our favorite by far when we did tours in the area - modern building / facilities, great technology to stay connected and monitor your kids, and very friendly and competent staff. This is what daycare should be like in today's age! Parking can be a bit of a pain at times as pickup / drop-off for most parents are around the samtimes and the parking spaces are not the biggest. There's also a high school across the street that causes some traffic disruption but just avoid those times. They give you two apps, one that the teachers use to track meals / diaper changes, and one that you can see your kid at all times. There's a fairly structured curriculum for the kids, though usually I just see them running around having fun. The staff are all very friendly and will try to give each individual kid as much love as possible. Highly recommended

It feels nicer than any other school in the area. The directors are always at the front available to chat if needed. Last and most importantly, the teachers are fabulous. They're friendly and love our babies. I appreciate that the administration cares about teacher retention but also doesn't continue to keep teachers If they don't meet the expectations of OFA. My children were referred to in racial terms by other children there even went as far as my children being referred to as "Monkeys." WELL I was wrong because not only did the front office staff: Ms. Stewart & Ms.Maya made sure we felt welcomed and listen to ALL concerns, questions and thoughts I was having but they even made sure that they stayed very transparent and communicated with me and understanding my children and myself needs. When it came to the room she was aged to be she met Ms. Keisha and Since BEFORE my daughter Anais was even put in her class, Ms. Keisha has always shown patience, drive, empathy & most important UNDERSTANDING. When it came to Anais. A little back story about Anais is she is a 2 yr old Level 3 AUTISTIC child who is also partial deaf, she was also nonparticipating, immobile, introverted, nonverbal very shy, and timid child. A year and a month later; Anais speaks some words, participates, plays with other classmates and LOVES outside time with her classmates. Ms. Keisha has not only worked with her on developmental obstacles, learning appropriate age behavior skills but as well as performing in the class and working with her one on one; She also includes Anais in EVERYTHING the class does and makes her feel comfortable and confident to try the same things independently. This keeps it interesting and fun for the kids. I love the hands on lab experiments in science. Also my daughter learned how to use a mouse in computer class. We even downloaded several of learning apps they use in class for home. They break them into small groups and they take turns rotating to various classes with special teachers there. In their main class they have main teacher and usually two other Aids . They do art projects and have stations for free play. They have different themes each week and show and tell. They have nutritious meals as well. Most of teachers and staff truly care about children and show that in their enthusiasm. They seem to have a lot of patience for kids and various issues that they may struggle. They really try and work with them. My daughter has developed many close bonds with her teachers and friends there. I feel her social and language skills have improved there. My daughter looks forward to going to school every day!
