OMG! I cannot tell you how happy I am that I found this location. Not only is it less than 5 minutes from our home, but its clean, the teachers are amazing and my baby boy (11 months old) loves it. Prior to attending Kindercare Spring Branch we had our baby at another daycare that had decent reviews, but it wasn't AT ALL what we thought (i'll keep this positive and leave them out of this). Anyways, we were in the market to find a new daycare and came across this location. (I have always loved Kindercare and even attended as a child and have had many family members who worked for the company. All in all, a great place for kind) Since my son has been attending this location we have immediately seen the difference in his social skills, cognition ability and overall attitude, as well as the level of care he is receiving. The director, Ms. Crystal is GREAT. Not only is she super responsive, but she also made our family feel comfortable immediately. I am able to get an almost immediate responses whenever I message with a question and she even follows up via phone call. Our family also loves Ms. Ashley, the assistant director. She is super friendly and has great rapport with both kiddos and parents.I literally feel so comfortable knowing my son is under their management. One thing that I really like about this location is how clean it is, especially during Covid. At our last daycare, my son was constantly sick and would often have dry snot on his face at pick up. This has NEVER HAPPENED at KinderCare Spring Branch. In fact, every time we pick him up hes clean, and smells as good (if not better) than when he arrived. Being a new mom I was worried about leaving my baby in a new spot, especially since you are not able to enter due to Covid restrictions. This anxiety has been put at ease thanks to the periodically snap shots of my sons day. I can see the enriched activities he is participating in and honestly, I can see a major improvement in his cognition due to some of these activities. It was so important for me to find a daycare that kept my baby clean and healthy, but also helped develop him mentally. He has grown substantially in his abilities since being there. My son has been attending Spring Branch Kindercare since he's been about 6 months old and he's currently 2.5 years old. Prior to daycare we had a nanny but she wasn't what we thought she was, but that's a different story. Anyways we were in a pinch and needed to find a daycare. In a span of one week I toured 4 different daycares. We chose Kindercare because 1. Ms. Crystal is super responsive and during the tour she answered the list of questions we had clearly, 2. Ms. Lorena had been the main teacher in the infant room for a long time (and she's still there and she really was wonderful with our son while he was in the infant room). 3. I really liked how the babies were getting tummy time and they don't use bouncers/rockers or those sit to stand circular play things. The current assistant director, Ms. Ashley is wonderful and I think she's helped improve this Kindercare location. My son was lucky enough to have her as his teacher in the toddler room before she became to assistant director. In the room my son is now in, there has been one teacher (Ms Shay) that's been in that room since he's started and the second teacher/ helper in that room has changed about 2 or 3 times. I think Ms. Shay has been super helpful with my son's potty training. They really try to adhere to what the parent wants, which made it easier to be more consistent with how the potty training is going at home. One of the or major reasons why we like Kindercare is that they will give your child the food you pack him ( if you choose to do that). In the beginning I would pack all of my son's solid foods because I wanted to make sure he was used to the food I cooked and that I could make sure he got plenty of nutrients as we did not want him to start eating meat too early or get too used to the food offered at the daycare. I won't say it's perfect, nothing ever is, but I honestly don't think we could have made a better choice in the grand scheme of things*. And with the covid pandemic, they've stayed open and have taken the proper precautions to keep the teachers and children safe. It's not as easy to talk to the teachers anymore since I don't want to hold them up at pick up, but I have emailed and they are able to get back to me the within 24hrs about my questions about how my son was doing. If there's one negative I think it is the child to teacher ratio. They go with the state limit, so needless to say I think they could use more teachers. *Side story - there was one point where we were seriously upset and wanted to change daycares because of my son getting bit and we weren't sure if the biting would stop. But after talking with Ms. Crystal about the situation, she laid out the plan to deal with it and the biting stopped. Granted we had to get to step 3 of the plan (remove the bitter from the class). But it showed me that they were really willing to fix the issue and not ignore or brush it under the rug. read more

We enrolled our three month old here and were so excited, because everyone seemed so nice. Once we actually brought her in, we weren't even acknowledged by the staff during pick up or dropoff. On our first day, my husband and I stood at the entrance not knowing where to put anything, not having been greeted by anyone. After a while, one of the teachers came to get our stuff and said, "Okay. It's okay." like we were such an inconvenience to her. The front desk area is also always empty at pick up and drop off time. The fact that they don't acknowledge parents as they go in and out worries me that someone could just walk in, unnoticed, and take a child. We disenrolled our daughter after a week and are now enrolled elsewhere. read more

Over the past couple years, it has been a journey (I'm sure many parents feel the same) finding the right daycare fit for my daughter. From top to bottom, I am extremely pleased at the way this location operates. For me, a true testament of the quality of care comes when a situation arises and the management and staff do all they can to make sure it's rectified. I want to shout out Crystal, the Center Director, for taking the time to assist in correcting a tuition issue that I encountered. There was some miscommunication, after all the information was brought to her attention, she made the adjustments to my account so my daughter's care wasn't interrupted. I appreciate the love & dedication my child receives and professionalism that I receive on a weekly basis from this Kindercare. As a first time mom... you could say I was terrified at the thought of someone else watching my precious baby while I went back to work. I wanted so hard to quit but financial not an option. My husband can even vouch that I literally vomited after touring some of the facilities. However, that fear was eliminated after we meet Crystal, the director of the center. She let us tour twice (ok maybe it was 3 times but whose counting). She always was quick at answering any questions I had.... which clearly was a lot (eg how to bring breast milk and oh no my breast milk didn't come in how do I pack formula). Then the first day came.... I was in tears and hubby dragging me away from my sweet baby girl. And everyone was so sweet to all of us and very understanding. Since that day, the infant room A and B with 6 wonderful teachers have become family! They know us and my daughter wakes up excited to go see what she will be doing (eg bubbles, painting, new friends, drawing, music, outside adventures). They will post pictures and videos of my sweet pea so I can get live updates. After the day is finished I will get a complete report of diaper changes (wet/bowel), naps, how much she ate and drank. These teachers are amazing!!! Since then I have even gotten to know Mrs Karen. She is the first person I see in the mornings when I drop off and the first one I see when I pick up my daughter. She is always smiling and happy and knows the latest and greatest details about My daughter. If you are looking for a tight nit extended family that can watch your sweet one. Look no further! Every parent wishes to find the absolute best childcare they can for their children. We read reviews, search facility records & visit centers for a firsthand look. None of that truly tells you the quality of care, understanding, nurturing & love your child will get once they are enrolled. I profoundly appreciate the teachers and staff at Spring Branch KinderCare. Especially my daughters' teacher Jondrea, Ms. Drea (as she is called) is the true definition of a teacher. Other centers my daughter attended the teachers were very negative regarding her. Ms. Drea understands how to properly communicate, interact, motivate & encourage my daughter & her students. She is very communicative with us regarding the curriculum & to share with us how well our daughter is doing in class. During a conversation with her & a student walks over "Ms. Drea see my gun." Her reply was "That's a great dinosaur, I love it! Great job." The little boy ran off happy with his dinosaur. I have seen teachers at other care centers yell at a child or put them in timeout for doing something similar. There is no better feeling than asking my daughter how her day was & with full excitement & joy she replies it was great & how much she likes Ms. Drea. I can go on & on about the excellent quality of care my daughter receives at this center from every staff member & teacher. I am greeted with smiling faces & professionalism every single day. They are quick to work with you regarding any issues & if my daughter has a bad day or they are unable to calm her they call us vs. writing a report & giving us the details later. Hands down Spring Branch KinderCare is the best child care facility my daughter has ever attended. My child is enrolled at Kindercare Learning center the spring branch location, and it was the best thing that has happened for me and my family . My son loves going to school every day. His teachers are amazing and I can truly say he is learning. Ms. Crystal the center director is a wonderful person. She genuinely cares about every child and family that is in the building. This place seems understaffed and unorganized. Had to pick up my nephew several times. I heard staff screaming in the playground and saw one teacher take several children by the hand (pretty firmly) to get them inside. Saw another teacher try her best to pay attention to a full class. She was not able to help redirect children consistently to facilitate quality play. Part of the reason there may be disruptions may be due to the lack of structure. During certain times, children sat around with little direction. Some children crowded around 1 or 2 kids who were allowed to bring and play with their own toys. This does not create a fair and equal environment. The teacher appeared to have favorites and responded differently to children's difficult behaviors. With more staff, more training, and better adherence to some of the activity times, this could be a better facility. Seems more like a place for your child to be babysat than learn and develop. This daycare was horrible. I mean it smelled so bad, the toddler class was extremely dirty. One toddler was running around with just her diaper. I went for a tour and could not believe what I was seeing. I don't know what kind of parents would drop off their children in this nasty place. The whole time I was holding my breath waiting for the tour to end. Very unsanitary and unsafe place for a child to be. read more

I can honestly say this is the best daycare in Spring Branch!!! The directors are awesome (Ms.Olivia and Ms.Veronica) and my sons teachers are the best. He loves attending this daycare, actually a couple times he hasn't wanted to leave when I go pick him up because he's having so much fun with all their fantastic activities! This center allows the kids to have lots of outdoor time (which I love!) because why would you want your kid indoor all day? Every time I drop my son off the teachers are completely engaged with all the students with either colors, shapes, reading books, counting, singing and even learning the other classmates names. Every morning when I drop my son off, I feel totally safe with leaving him there (unlike a couple other daycares he has attended) and my mind is at ease because I know my son will be taken care of by patient and caring teachers. Well, OVERALL, this is a wonderful facility and I would recommend Kindercare to anyone! :) read more
