We came to Kipling for elementary school after first grade and have been very pleased with small class size and the nurturing environment.

Ms. Lois is truly amazing and I finally felt truly comfortable that my daughter was safe and in a nurturing environment compared to previous centers. The class size is small and I like the daily report at the end of the day. They make cute projects to make learning interesting. She enjoyed her one month so much there so I enrolled her in summer camps right after and she completed one full yr Fall '23 to Spring '24 until it was time for elementary school. She made so many friends and still keeps in touch with some even after entering a different school. She gained so much confidence and a great educational foundation that I believe helped her easily transition to kindergarten. I truly recommend this preschool!

It is great for kids, great for moms, and my husband loves how much the kids are flourishing there. I researched many Parent's day out programs in Houston, before deciding on First Friends and I am SO glad I did! My kids are so happy and thriving in this program. The teachers are nice, experienced, patient, and passionate about the kids. I love that I get a daily report on how their day was and the teachers are very communicative. The director is always at the door to greet parents at drop off and pick up and she is very involved. I am just so happy with this program. It is safe, clean, and my kids so happy every time they go, even more they are learning and gaining great social skills. They do so many activities that help with fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and they do so many crafts I'm amazed! From comments I have heard from other Mom friends it's seems that other MDO programs are more concerned with tuition than the kids and parents, that is not the case at First Friends. If you are looking for a MDO program check out First Friends you won't be disappointed! Your kids will love it and you will have peace of mind that they are safe and happy. All the other First Friends moms rave about the program and I have not heard anyone have any complaints! Most parents have had multiple kids go through the program. It is established and has a great reputation. I am so happy we found this school!

We have been part of the school for 10 years and have experienced multiple classrooms and grade levels across 3 children who each started in the Young Children's Community (as toddlers). Our eldest is on the verge of entering the Middle School, and it is clear that her experiences at the school thus far, along with the experiences of our other children, have established a deep love of learning, curiosity, self motivation, and innovation. It is such a special place. We came to Esperanza upon recommendation from a family friend with a child and we are SO GRATEFUL for that recommendation. Our child is currently in the 3-4s class called the Angelfish which is led by Ms Lisa and Ms Ruby. Prior to entering angelfish, our child was VERY clingy, very quiet around her peers, and ALWAYS had to have her stuffie. Sure it was cute, but when you literally cannot go one single place without a stuffed animal and God forbid you lose the stuffie I felt like my little kiddo was hanging onto being a baby for as long as possible. There were noticeable positive changes once she entered angelfish classroom, the teachers were kind and encouraging but they stuck to certain boundaries which I REALLY appreciate because I know children need structure, clear rules, and a safe and nurturing environment to thrive but sometimes it's hard doing that for the few hours of time you have with your child at home. Although our child was very very nervous to make the transfer to her new class, we noticed within a month or two, she loved her stuffie but no longer needed it everywhere she went. She regularly started using new positive/kind language (which she got from her teachers :) ), she became much more social with kids at the parks, she would sit and eat her ENTIRE meal before getting up to play. The list goes on. These may sound like small things or things that might naturally have occured at her age, but we know these things in particular were highly motivated and clearly demonstrated at her daycare on a consistent basis. Outside of our childs behavior, my husband and I have been so impressed with the thorough communication from the teachers and the school. Esperanza and their teachers are highly communicative and do so in respectful manners. We also really like the teachers in general. Ms Lisa, Ms Ruby, Ms Franny, and Ms Tina, Ms Lydia and Ms Valerie have all been great to get to know over the last 1-2 years. I'm also so surprised that even though the school is quite large, MOST teachers we walk past know our child's name and always greet her (teachers I've never seen or met. I ask my child who they are and if they're nice and she's always replied that they are super nice to her ) I'm so glad that we chose Esperanza where there are like.. literally 6-8 playgrounds for kids to play, high parent and teacher engagement, and a safe space for our little one to grow into a big girl We are especially grateful to Ms Lisa and Ms Ruby as this is our last few months at Esperanza before we move states, they've been such great leaders for our classroom and I know all the angelfish parents feel this way as we get together quite frequently and I've only ever heard positive remarks about our teachers
