I just got home from my appointment. Seeing all of these negative reviews, especially about Dr…read more Cynthia Ferguson, reminded me as to why I don't pay attention to them. I received 2 reminder text messages about my appointment. Both times they gave me details as to what I needed to bring in with me to the appointment. My appointment was at 10:50am. I got there roughly around 10:15ish and was seen by the lovely Dr. Ferguson and her awesome assistant. They went through the procedure step by step and was extremely patient with me. When it was all said and done she gave me details on what would happen next to the blood vessel or mole and what steps of aftercare I needed to take. She proceeded to give me some ice tea and mints. I am booked in again for next month for a check up and I am looking forward to it. I'm not someone who goes to the doctors often and (I feel awful for saying it and I am so so sorry) I really don't like going. But everyone of those staff members where easy going, polite and happy to see me. Thank you!

Dr Schnarrs has the best bedside manner of any surgeon I have ever encountered. He also allows women who undergo mastectomies to keep their nipples. He is patient with the emotions a breast cancer patient needs to process. I love Dr Schnarrs and I interviewed at least 10 plastic surgeons for breast reconstruction. His knowledge and skill is beyond everyone else out there. He is also actively involved in Beyond Boobs. He's the best plastic surgeon and an amazing human.

The problem started to get better then took a dramatic turn for the worse. Sarah was able to work me in to get a facial. Apparently, the cleansers recommended by the lady at the mall were not the right thing and actually caused more damage. After just one facial, my skin looks dramatically different. The acne seems to have disappeared, the red patches are evening out and my skin hasn't looked this good in a while! I've been to many places and gotten many facials, but Hague Medi-Spa is the only place in Hampton Roads that I can get a facial that actually makes this much of a difference.

Office Admin Staff & Scheduling: Scheduling my appointment was easy however, the staff called me the day of my appointment to let me know I should arrive 30 mins early for paperwork. Usually offices in my experience ask for 15-20 mins and it's not a make or break deal. The office admin told me to cancel this appointment if I could not make it 30 mins before my scheduled appointment. This should have been communicated before the day of my scheduled appointment, and it's insensitive when people take time off for the doctors. On this day with how my work schedule aligned, I had a work call and planned to be at my appointment 15 mins before. I also waited 6 months to be seen. I tried to resolve the issue by asking if I could get the forms online and email them back to expedite the process. The office staff let me know that this would only work prior to the day of my appointment. When I arrived at the office though, the staff was nice and I was able to fill out my paperwork with time to spare for my actual appointment. I didn't really understand the rush and expectation to cancel my appointment if I could not be there 30 mins before. Arriving 15 minutes early was ample time for me and I still had to wait past my appointment time to be seen. Office: The office was clean and decorated nicely. I like that there were bathrooms visible for any patients waiting around. Magazines were also around each table for patients to buy some time. This was located in the corner behind the Broad Creek Shopping Center. Plenty of parking in the front for the office. Appointment Experience: I was referred by my PCP for a second opinion on a medical diagnosis with a different dermatologist. I had FNP Robert Masters and he made me feel comfortable and welcoming for my first appointment. Super down to earth nurse practitioner that listened to my concerns and took the time to review my medical records that I brought in. He did not make me feel rushed during my appointment and for once, I felt great leaving that appointment with all my concerns and questions answered! I'm not sure if the staff issue and miscommunication is a common theme. If it was for my office staff experience this would have been a 1 star review. Overall, I would come back to this network and office for FNP Robert Masters because he was amazing!!
