First off, I want to commend Miro and his business for the community work and ethics of "giving…read moreback." It's the reason why I chose to move with them. I noticed in his pictures that he participated in relief funds for disasters and repurposes/recycles the junk people want gone. He has a business ethics model with which I can identify. Secondly, but just as important, his prices were fair and his communication was efficient while being courteous. He is responsive and reasonable. No troubles with communication and organizing the move at all. Last and perhaps most important, his guys showed up on time (6 mins early) on the day of the move. Erik and Odell worked well with each other. They were both efficient and careful with our stuff. Erik is hearing impaired and I kept forgetting and sometimes saying things while standing behind him. However, that's my problem and not on him. Odell was personable and Erik is a very sweet person. As movers, excellent but also pleasant human beings. I did notice that Odell is a smoker but it isn't any of my business what he does on his own time. Just mentioning in case anyone else cares. There's an overload of dust and allergens with moving anyway so not a deal breaker for me. Oh! Odell was a godsend with having his tools with him! My hubby had gone to return our U-Box things and Odell took the legs/feet off my elliptical very quickly with great proficiency, with Erik's support, and we got the whole move done within our scheduled time without going over. Thank you, Miro, Odell and Erik!

There was no extra charge because it was holiday, no extra charge for less than 24 hours notice. The price was less than a couple of competitors I called. I wasn't looking for lowest price, I was looking for ASAP. By calling Yellow Truck Moving, I got both! Brian and Abraham were great. They were very efficient, fast, professional and friendly. They wrapped furniture & make sure boxed things were handled with care. When I tried to help with the little stuff, Brian said they would get it all, I didn't need to do a thing. Brian and Abraham went above and beyond with the move. If I need movers in the future, I will definitely call yellow truck moving and request Brian and Abraham! The company and movers Brian/Abraham are a perfect team. They all work together to accommodate the customer!

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE…read more We were given an 8-10 AM arrival window after repeatedly explaining that we had to be out of our house by 5 PM or face a $400 penalty. We were assured this would not be a problem. The movers arrived at 3:50 PM. For nearly six hours, customer service repeatedly told us they were "on their way." At one point, customer service hung up on me. To be clear, the movers themselves were great. They worked hard but looked exhausted after coming straight from another job. The problem was clearly the company's scheduling and management--not the crew. Then we received the bill: more than DOUBLE our quote, including six hours of labor when only four hours were actually worked. After showing up almost six hours past the end of their arrival window, risking a $400 penalty, and overbilling us, their solution was to offer to buy us dinner. Great movers. Terrible management, communication, scheduling, and billing. Based on my experience, I would absolutely not use this company again.
