Don't bother getting any service that's not one of their 'speciality' services. My pedicure was insanely over priced and my feet felt exactly the same leaving. I can get a pedicure 100x better for a quarter of the cost ANYWHERE else. read more

This is an absolutely fabulous salon. I was in town for meetings and needed an acrylic fill. Many shops did not do acrylic. These folks were very accommodating. As you are being worked on, they give you a back massage. Their Spa pedicure was the best I ever had. It was over an hour long. I would highly recommend. read more

Although this place is convenient to go to for a quick pedicure I am giving them 2 stars because they skimp on the most important parts. Their "special pedicure" is not worth the money. They barely put any cream on your feet and when they wrap your legs they apply very little of the mask underneath. They also use baby oil to massage your feet and calves. That is cheap. They jack the price up but don't really use the products to make the pedicure "special". They also rush you to service as many customers as they can. It's a factory in there. I would much rather go to the "Waverly" in Cheshire where there is less customers. read more

Got taken care of right away despite the busy time I went. Was able to get a mani pedi for $44 (the mani was French) & it took a little over an hour total. Ann took care of me & was very friendly & I'm very pleased with how my nails turned out. The place was very clean & I felt very comfortable. read more

I went to this nail salon for the first time 2 weeks ago to get my acrylics filled. I made an appointment 2 days before and was happy to see that the people were waiting and ready for me! I knew I had to make an appointment a little bit before because whenever I have gone past You Got Nails, I always see many people in there. The service was good. They were very affectionate. The lady kept snipping a little bit at my skin when doing whatever (I don't even know) but I think she had too. After they did my nails they had me dry them. After 2 "rounds" of light they told me the nails were dry and that I could leave. I got into the car, and what do you know, my nails weren't dry. I think this was because I had picked an older nail polish. Anyway if you're planning to go here you should make an appointment probably a day ahead of time. I'm planning to go back. read more

Love, Love, Love This salon is excellent! I've lived in CT for a few years now and I've constantly bounced around from salon to salon looking for one that is just right, but now that I've found this one I can stop bouncing. I get gel nails and mine nails have never last as long as when I get them done here; they last my friends and I an average of 2.5 to 3 weeks! Their pedicures are also phenomenal, the salon is super clean and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Even if there is a wait they will get you set up in a chair with your feet soaking in the perfect temp water and unlike other salons, they will make sure to refresh the water if it gets cold while you wait. However, Ive only had to wait one time I've been here. Overall, I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone looking for a great mani/pedi! read more

Very disappointed! Came 10 minutes early for two appts my 94 year old mother and myself. Immediately sat my mom at a station and myself. Technician started on me immediately because I was having Shellac (my mom a manicure only) 3 staff members sat there conversing in a foreign language, laughing paying no attention to my mom When I spoke up after10 minutes of her waiting asking why she was just sitting there and no one starting her manicure I was told technician on lunch (it was 2:00 pm) Not one other customer in store. The three continued to converse carry on as if my mom was not even there. After another 10 minutes I relayed my disappointment and feeling of disrespect to my mother. Then Jenny appeared from the back after having lunch and she proceeded to do my moms nails. The three other individuals could not do my mother?? We had to wait for Jenny to return from lunch while they sat and carried on?? Jenny was very nice and did a great job but I believe one of the people conversing was either the owner or manager and thought it was despicable the way they treated my 94 year old mother. Was it because she was just getting a manicure. By the way I was finished and had to wait for 10 minutes for my mother to be done so they cannot say they were coordinating our times because if they were they failed! They failed in many ways but the most was the Disrespect they showed my 94 year old mother! I do not recommend them at all. I went in last night to get my eyebrows waxed (I had been once before for this service). The girl commented on how my eyebrows were uneven and asked if I did them myself. I told her no, I didn't, but could she even them out for me. She said no. Oooo-kay. (One is slightly thicker than the other, come on, you can't fix that?) At the end of the waxing, she was like "Oh, I don't know how this happened." THIS being NO HAIR in the middle of my eyebrow. Like, it's broken in two. I had to go get an eyebrow pencil to fill it in. But she was kind enough to tell me I didn't have to tip her... I still had to pay $10.50 for a broken eyebrow and one that is STILL too thick that I'll have to try to fix myself in the meantime. Hey, at least if I screw it up, I have an eyebrow pencil at home now to fill it in with! read more

I used to love this place. The spa pedicure was exceptional. However this past year the service has been inconsistent. I always make an appointment and the last several times even though I had an appointment I had to wait upwards of 45 minutes. In a couple of cases I couldn't get the service I wanted because of time restraints which were the result of the wait. After the last time I swore I'd never come back.....then someone gave me a gift certificate for Christmas. So in an effort to use it, and give them one last chance I went again. I did not have to wait this time, the pedicure was OK. I have had better here and I've had worse. HOWEVER about two hours after I was done, back at home, I touched my nails and the polish just slid off. Definitely something was done wrong. I called the salon and the manager told me to come back to have them re-done, that maybe the paraffin was not washed off sufficiently therefore the polish was not able to dry. Having a busy schedule, this is very inconvenient. But I went back two days later, reminded him who I was and that I had called. He told me that because I had not waited for them to dry, this is what happened (I had a ten minute chair massage before leaving, that alone should have been sufficient time for the polish to at least become tacky). I found his comment rude and the decision is made that my business has been lost forever. read more

I would never go back. I asked for a mani pedi, they rushed through both. My nails came out okay at best and they over charge for their services. For a basic mani/pedi I paid 60 bucks. I can get a better manicure and pedicure at a place down the street for half the price. read more

I drove by a dozen of nail salons to go to You Got Nails, only to be disappointed. I requested to cut down my nails, I ended up with them being so short when I turn my hand over I cant even see nail tips. They are uneven, not straight on the tips, very thick. I now have to remove them and have another set put on. So I wasted time, and money going here, I will NEVER make that mistake again. read more

I went there for a full set of acrylics with a french manicure a few weeks ago. it cost me over $100. All of the nails fell off within a week. I went back they replaced them for free and then those nails fell off within days! I usually spend no more than $35 for a full set with french and those last 3 weeks before even becoming loose. Needless to say I called and asked for my money back from one of the workers and he said the manager would call me back.. the manager refused to call me. I was not happy with the friendliness of the lady who did my nails and i will never go back there ever again. read more

I went in to get acrylics and Mason (the nail tech) talked me into gels. I said OK and never asked the price, assuming that it would be around $50 - $60....at least that's what my daughter pays at the salon she goes to. The whole time Mason was doing my nails he kept reminding me that I should schedule a "fill" within 2 weeks. He mentioned it at least 3 times. When he was almost done he asked me what I do because he wanted to know so he could determine how thick he should make my nails in the future (Do you think ya should've asked that BEFORE you started?) Needless to say, my nails are very thick and not very natural looking. But the biggest surprise is when I went to the register to pay and he told me it would be $106!!!!! I almost fainted!! Granted it was my own fault for not asking the price before he started but never in my wildest dreams did I expect it to be that much....and for a mediocre job. It's been less than 2 weeks and I'm already seeing lifting (looks almost like an air bubble under the gel) on a couple of my fingers. And I've been on vacation the whole time so it's not like i was doing housework. I will NEVER go back there and I caution anyone thinking of having any work done to make sure you get the price ahead of time. read more
