I love this salon because the staff is always so nice!! And without a doubt, the ladies that work there always do a Fantastic job of waxing my eyebrows. I leave there with my eyebrows #onfleek and have never been disappointed in the shaping. However, there are some dislikes such as there isn't a menu or anything posted with the services offered or prices, so walking in there is a somewhat gamble because you don't know how much you'll be paying. I've always had excellent pedicures, they use hot stones and really scrub your feet (I'm on my feet for both jobs and my dogs are always look awful going in, but coming out smooth as a baby's bum) but the manicures, I go for the powder dip style, aren't the best thing ever. Could be improvement for manicures, but overall I do recommend and will continue being a customer there, where else can I get fresh eyebrows from lol read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Literally, go anywhere else. Anywhere. If I could give this place less than one star, I would. Tried them out for the first time today. There was not a single person in the salon. When I walked in, the girl started soaking my nails in acetone and let me sit there for 40 minutes while she and another girl proceeded to take other people. After 40 minutes I said "am I just gonna sit here the whole time they're getting a pedicure with acetone on my nails?" At that point she then came over, and all the cotton had dried up and stuck to my nails and she proceeded to use the dremel tool to try to get it off and broke multiple of my nails (which are real). I was so unhappy with how they operated this business, I decided to just leave and go somewhere else to get my nails done. This is how I left after 40min of being in the nail salon. They damaged my nails and also had terrible service. AWFUL. read more

I researched before trying this place as I was new to the area. I hadn't had a manicure in over 15 months due to Covid however my nails were in healthy shape . I decided on a powder dip manicure. They looked amazing. The staff was attentive and very friendly . I did return a few days later as one cracked and another broke. I had them repaired and returned 2 more times. They are supposed to last 2.5 weeks. On the 3rd visit it was noted that my nail was partially green after removing the powder gel! I had only been coming here for 6 weeks by this time ! I have gotten manicures for over 30 years and that has never happened to me. I've gotten powder dip manicures for 2 years prior to Covid and never experienced anything like this. My poor review is because of that and because of the way that it was handled. The owners are friendly but seemed to downplay my concerns . They explained what they thought occurred and that explanation was that they believed that water and moisture got under my nail between the powder and resulted in what looked like a nail fungus ! Granted , for years I've had this same type of manicure while working in healthcare , washing my hands so many times per day that I couldn't count the number of times yet I had never had this occur. I believe that it was due to poor technique and/or unsanitary conditions. I believe that my manicure moving forward should have been free until my nail was clear. That wasn't even offered as a solution . I felt that this was their responsibility. That would be good business. I simply couldn't return after that visit due to everything mentioned and that it was handled in such a messy way . In addition , my nails were so weak and thin after just 6 weeks! Again, I've never had that happen to me. Customer service is everything and they have lost thousands in the long run by losing my business . read more

I went here for the first time and really wanted to like this place. I had a very uneven experience, and I'm not sure if I would go back. Made an appointment through Yelp which was very easy. When I got there, they were not open yet even though it was 9:30. I waited Outside for about 10 minutes before they showed up and turn the lights on. The person who greeted me seemed very confused about what I wanted. I asked to have UV gel removed and then a dip powder manicure. She kept asking about my toes, about putting on Gel. Both irrelevant. Then I was taken into the back area to remove my UV gel. The technician did a thorough job removing, but she literally did not say one word to me. And the placemat she used was dirty from the day before. I was moved to the front room for the dip powder, which I've never had before. I was looking for a light muted gray color which they did not have in the powder. So I went for a brighter color instead, which was a mistake because given the sloppy manicure I now have pink all over my fingers, see pictures. This tech was very nice, But did not do a great job. She also was sick which I felt bad for, but if you're so sick you have to get up every 10 min to blow your nose maybe you should stay home? My fingers were dipped directly into the powder container instead of a separate container - not sure if that is standard for dip powder but seems unsanitary. Also it took foreverrrrr, I was there two hours! I don't know if that's how long dip powder normally takes, but seemed really excessive to me. Other people came in and had mani/pedi and were done before me. The massage at the end was nice. But my fingers are stained pink and there are bumps and nicks in my polish. In sum- Pros:nice spa like interior, some employees are nice, good massage. Cons: late opening, sloppy manicure, took forever, possibly unsanitary, some unfriendly employees. I may try them again at a different day/time, maybe I'll have a different experience. But based on this visit I wouldn't recommend. read more

This was the best nail salon experience my daughter in law and I have experienced. Carolina did a great pedicure for my daughter in law and Miriam was wonderful with me. They put your sandals on before doing the polish which I thought was really smart. Miriam also did a manicure for me complete with paraffin wax. When I went to the dryer station Reyna gave me an absolutely wonderful neck and shoulder/upper back massage. She even used a warm compress and then finished off with more massage. The prices were reasonable, $30 for a pedicure and $40 for a mani/pedi. Absolutely wonderful experience, will be back the next time I am in CT. read more

My birthday weekend was coming up (the very next sunday), my work day was chaotic, and I really just needed some me time- something to make me feel good to kinda get in the weekend mode. So I saw the reviews and figured I should find a place closer to home (I moved and had been commuting to my old nail place 2 towns over) I gave them a call and they set up an appt for me right then! The salon is beautiful and really clean. Not to mention the ladies are professional but also so sweet and engaging. I had a great experience and will for sure go back for a color change. I believe the girl who did my nails was named Esme (?) but she was fantastic! I didn't want to leave. Does anyone know when Queens will reopen from tjor move their move to West Main St.? I have a gift certificate and am rather disappointed there's no way to contactthem. Ive been coming to their salon for 12 years or mote and love them., their prices massages during pedicures, welcoming environment and quality. For a review person like myself , I woyld never take an opinion from a 1 time customer, so ignore those ppl. I can be tough on my ecpectatokns to, but remain FAIR, knowing businesses depend on it. So even tho im unhappy with this situation, I assume there's a good reason for my problem. 1 bad experience doesnt wipe out a 100 excellent ones. I'm not compensating for their low prices either, I've been to some of the best. You can't improve on 100% quality, and dont expect a Beverly Hills environment , nor need it. With that said, their environment is calming, clean, and stylish. So whats there to complain about ppl?? Maybe its the reviewers that are difficult, negative and just bashers. Just completed a wonderful facial with the amazing Reyna! From the moment you enter the spa suite, you are out at ease with the fireplace and lovely decor. Reyna herself is kind and professional. She uses only PCA and Dermalogica products. The entire experience left my face nourished and refreshed. Head massage, arms, shoulders, décolletage... the works. My fills last a good 2-3 weeks, when at other nail salons they barely lasted 2 weeks. I'm known for never being happy with my nail salon experiences... I walked into a cozy waiting area, and without an appointment I waited about 15 minutes (not too bad in my opinion). There are only 4 work stations set up for manicures, which i thought was nice because it was more of a quality over quantity kind of setting. Right away i noticed how clean it is inside; the floors are clean, the tools come from autoclave bags, and the nail techs clean their stations after they're done (with spray bottles and everything). My gel manicure took about 35 mins. The nail tech asked me how i wanted my nails filed and kept checking with me to see if i liked the length and shape- much better than having someone just file your nails down to nothing without asking first, which is what i find is the norm in a lot of salons. Anyways, the manicure came with paraffin wax treatment, a neck/ shoulder massage, and a brief hand massage. I would have liked an actual hand massage, but the shoulder massage was fantastic. My gel manicure was around $30. Overall, I had a great experience and I really like how my nails came out. I'll go back for sure, and I'll make sure to make an appointment next time. read more

Queen's Nail Salon is everything a nail salon should be! My Mother-in-Law suggested Queen's to help me prepare for a wedding my husband and I were attending. Upon arrival, the team was friendly and polite. Polish and gel options are available for guests. During the pedicure, the staff took care of my over worked feet while I enjoyed a massage chair. During the manicure, the staff did a beautiful job with trimming my nails to the square top with rounded edges I requested. Once everything is said and done, the staff gives you an upper back and shoulder massage! If I could pack up Queen's and bring them back to North Carolina with me, I would! Really great experience! I came on a Sunday afternoon, got In right away with no wait. The salon was clean, staff was friendly, and the decor was beautiful. Very peaceful and serene and a great collection of polishes. The were meticulous with my manicure and my nails looked great. The manicure ended with a complimentary five minute Massage while my nails dried. Amazing $12 mani!! The staff was friendly and want to ensure you have a good experience.
