My surgeon said the nerve pain should subside in a year...instead it got worse. On Mother's Day, my daughter-in-law suggested I try acupuncture. I did a Google search for acupuncturists and found several within a couple of miles of my home. Dr. Kang was about 10 miles away but after reading the reviews I was so impressed that I sent a note asking for information regarding insurance (it's not). Dr. David Kang answered my questions and I later spoke to him by phone. I decided to make a first appointment. I met Ms. Grace Kang, and after I completed the patient forms she spoke to me about my pain location and different ailments. I'd worn loose clothing as requested and I didn't need to remove anything but my shoes. I was a little apprehensive - anticipating pain from the needles but Grace and Dr Kang explained everything that was being done and I relaxed enough to get through the treatment. The pain was mild due to the thin needles and Dr. Kang's expertise in placing them. He explained the holistic (heart, stress and digestive) and back treatments he was doing each time.They left me alone with the lights dimmed and soft soothing music for 35 minutes. Afterwards, Grace returned to remove the needles and explained the future visits and payment plan if I'd decided to continue. The cost is not inexpensive but my pain was such that I was willing to pay for the 32 visits in advance. I usually have 2 visits per week and have never waited more than a couple of minutes before being seen each appointment. My pain is almost completely gone, my stress level is much lower and I just feel better all around. I enjoy going there and everyone in the office is really nice and genuinely caring. I am nearing the end of my treatment plan but I will continue to seek the Kangs services in the future.

I talked to them about getting a prorated refund for the remaining visits and was told no they could not do that. I don't understand why I should pay for something that doesn't work. Why should you have to lay there for 35 to 45 minutes with needles in you for something that does nothing. I didn't ask for a full refund just for the remaining visits. This is really poor business practice. They take people's money and give no results.$2000 is alot of money. Keep your money please don't go here. If you have anxiety issues this will not work. I will not return for my last paid for visits no matter how nice they sound over the phone. People beware!!!!!!

I've had a chronic exhaustion condition for several years and mainstream medicine hasn't been any help so I figured why not give it a try. After finding parking and coming into my first appointment I was impressed with my entire experience there. To be honest it's not the fanciest of places but you could tell everything was kept very clean and sanitary in the office. Dr Noonan(Rose) was very patient during the process of going over my medical history and very open minded about my experiences with my condition. After an examination she was able to confidently come up with a treatment plan composed of accupuncture and something called cupping. Honestly I had expected there to be some pain and discomfort through the process but I didn't feel anything more than a flick of a finger against my skin. Couldn't feel the needle at all! Also the cupping was really surprisingly therapeutic and helped loosen up some locked muscle groups. The part that really blew me away was the day after the appointment. I had a little soreness but I had enough energy to do things that I haven't been able to do in a long time, and it's only been improving since. After a couple days the soreness was completely gone and I'm doing better. I've set up a regular appointment schedule at this point and I am really looking forward to continued improvement. I rescheduled each week, set an appointment, then found out day-of that she's canceling. She claimed to be sick the entire time and eventually canceled four times within a month. She didn't even call or text me to tell me, I had to reach out to HER to find out every time. What if I showed up at my scheduled appointment time like with any other business, instead of double-checking first? When I look at reviews, there were three posted during the time she was "sick". She took other clients but was "too sick" to take me? Last week, I decided I was tired of being dragged around and asked for a refund on the package. She ignored most of my messages, then eventually responded and said she'd "get to it later that day." A week has gone by and no refund. I've been nothing but polite and patient, but I've had enough. Since she hasn't refunded the package despite my requests, I filed a dispute with my bank. I have a full record of my conversation with her, showing every time she canceled and her refusal to give me a refund. I will be submitting all of it as evidence. According to the reviews here, I'm not the only person who's had to deal with this. Don't waste your money or time with this place.
