I have use Acupuncture twice in my life. Once to address soreness in my neck. For me it has been a life changer. 8 years ago while living in San Francisco at the advice of a really intelligent friend I had 3 treatments to address my neck discomfort. Years later I'm still pain free. Over the last 3 months I had developed numbness in my left hand. After 2 treatments from Dr Pan my issue has been resolved. I am in complete awe regarding the business practices of Dr.Pan I made two appointments on this online portal, completed both the confirmations, accepted the cancellation policy and replied to the email that read " we need your cell number" which I sent them and was included in my online booking. I arrive to the office 20 mins before my appointment, no one is here. Check email to find I have a message that reads "since we can't get ahold of you we have cancelled your appointment". While at times the "flow" of the office seems unorthodox, Dr. Pan is fantastic in his techniques and ability in acupuncture. I can highly recommend him for pain relief. read more

I was very disappointed in my experience with the services at Dr. Pan's Acupuncture. I was gifted a groupon voucher for my birthday and I had to call multiple times to get an appointment because Jan Pan did not really want to honor my voucher. She kept telling me that this is a clinic, as if the person that gifted me this voucher did not pay for the voucher at all. Finally, I was able to schedule my appointment, in which I was excited because I truly needed the massage and cupping session. The day of my appointment, I arrived at 9:45 for my appointment which was at 10:00AM. Upon arriving, I walked in, like a normal person would in this situation because the door was unlocked. When I walked into the lobby, no one was at the front desk, therefore, I began calling out, "hello, hello, hello". After the third hello, I stopped because I thought that maybe someone was getting a massage in one of the closed doors and I did not want to disturb them. I just continued to wait for the practitioner to finish and come to start my session. A while passed by and it was 10:00 and still no one came out so I began to wonder if they were going to be a little behind schedule. At approximately 10:03, I heard a car pulling into the parking lot and parking and shortly afterward, Jan Pan came running into the office and was startled to see that I was standing there at the front desk. She asked me "Oh, (with fear in her voice) how did you get in here?" I said, "the door was unlocked, so I walked in". She then stated that she needed to be more careful because she apparently forgot to lock the door from the night before. She then told me to go in the treatment room and we can get started. We went into the room and she did not ask any questions of what I wanted to work on, she just told me to remove my shirt and lay faced down to begin with. I did what she asked and waited on her to return. She was running late opening the building, so I could here her running around in the building, getting things in order, as she was late opening up before she returned to give me my massage. Finally, I heard her grab the glass cups before coming into the room. She told me that we will do cupping for 20 minutes first before massage but at the time it had to be after 10:10 or 10:15 when we started and I had an hour massage/cupping session allotted with my voucher. At that point I said to myself, "that was fine, as long as she gives me my whole time". Everything seemed to be rushed and she began putting the cups on my back, which she did not try to warm at all with the flame and they were extremely cold while putting them on my back. She then went out of the room to let me rest with the cups on my back for 20 minutes and then she continued to do things to complete the opening of the business process during that time. Twenty minutes later, she returned to remove my cups and begin the massage. I could tell that she was not giving me the proper treatment, probably because I had the groupon voucher. She put on very little massage oil and gave me the most lack luster massage I have ever experienced. She also did not trim her fingernails and I kept feeling her nails going into the skin of my back. She spent most of the time on my upper back and barely massage my left leg and then barely touched my right leg, before saying my time was up. I thought to myself "wow, she could have at least did the same thing to my right leg that she did on my left leg, instead of abruptly stopping because my time was up???" She told me to take my time getting up so that's what I did. Upon getting up to get dressed, I looked at that clock and it was 11:00 at that time, which was definitely less than an hour massage due to starting late because she arrived to work late. When I went out to the front desk, I wanted to try to schedule an acupuncture appointment with Dr. Pan but I mentioned to her that she did not give me my full hour of massage. She denied everything and even covered her ears while I was trying to explain my case. She even mentioned to me, "you don't like us" at that moment, I ask her, " who is us?" I asked because, it was only me and her there at that time. She stated that comment again and I was confused. At that moment, I just left very unsatisfied and disappointed with the services that I experienced. Today, I called to speak with Dr. Pan to let him know about my experience but Jan Pan answered the phone and would not let me speak to him and she then hung up on me. I called back and apparently she blocked my number. This was a very unpleasant and unprofessional experience and I was sad because I never met Dr. Pan and I am sure that he do not know how Jan Pan is conducting herself in the clinic. I wanted to email him first before writing this review but I could not find an email address to email. Doing the review was my last resort because I would have much rather discussed this with Dr. Pan first. With this being said, I am very unsatisfied....... read more
