    Vegetable Ramen
    Angela L.

Recently stopped by for lunch. Walked up to the counter and gave our order to a pleasant staff person (who later delivered our beverages and food, made sure we didn't need anything else mid-meal, and lastly gave us our bill and took our payment). The wait for our food was quite short (between 5-10 minutes). I had the namesake Yoshi Ramen, which incidentally does not include bok choy, as an older menu photo here on Yelp shows. That same menu photo also says 'thick noodle' for most Ramens, but wisely they've also removed that from the current menu, since it's a normal Ramen noodle. Not that there's anything wrong with that, as the noodles were delicious, as was my Ramen. The broth was very tasty, as was the cha-shu pork. My husband had the Vegetable Ramen (his did come with two pieces of bok choy). He said the vegetable broth was flavorful, and didn't seem overly salty. He also appreciated that the tofu was organic. It was a very good experience overall.

I got the Yoshi Ramen, the broth lacked flavor. The noodles were very thin and reminded me of the noodles that come in the little Maruchan instant noodle bags. They were also a bit too soft for what I'm used to when it comes to Ramen. The young man at the counter was great. I would rate his customer service five out of five. He was very hospitable, welcoming, and knowledgeable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside was nice and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I want to try other things on the menu so I'll be back.

My bestie and I went to Yoshi Ramen for the first time, and had a delicious meal. We both got and loved the flavors. I can't remember what we exactly got, but we both enjoyed our choices. We also got a pot of tea which was very good. As for the service, the service was great. The young man who helped us was very friendly and checked on us multiple times to make sure we were having a positive dining experience. Furthermore, the ambiance was a nice vibe. It was a chill restaurant and very clean. Thank you for a great dinner, Yoshi Ramen. We will be back!

Haven't been here for a while and this place is still great: awesome service, nice environment, delicious food, and reasonable price! Kids loved their chicken teriyaki and sushi, and parents enjoyed ramen. Will definitely be back soon!

Are you looking for a tasty noodle dish that leaves your mouth watering and wanting more? Yoshi Ramen and Sushi, located at 6869 Douglas Blvd, Granite Bay, was a great and fun experience that satisfies just that. According to one of the nice servers, this business has been running since 2012, or for over a decade, and the food clearly shows this experience. This Chinese restaurant has everything from friendly staff and service to a delicious meal topped with perfectly plated condiments. It is located in the perfect place to not spend seemingly hours looking for parking and includes only a 30-second walk from your car, making it easily accessible. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was clean, and even fellow customers were friendly, which helped give this restaurant a great homey feel.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved the atmosphere and pleasant impression and would truly suggest that you pay it a visit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Starting off strong, here are the top five things I loved about Yoshi Ramen and Sushi: [[HIGHLIGHT]]The amazing atmosphere, the high quality of the food, the presentation of the meal, the kindness of the servers, and the cleanliness of the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Each of these things blew me out of the water and gave me an overall great experience while eating. To start out, each aspect I took note of seemed better than the last. I started off by thinking the service was really nice, then I got to the actual food, and it seemed even better. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This restaurant is also great for family dinners, as it gave me a chance to catch up with my siblings and take a break from my busy schedule.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] During my visit, the overall experience was wonderful; however, it was a little bit expensive, or around $20 for a bowl of ramen, and the food took a while to arrive. Though a bit pricey, the ramen came with many add-ins, such as egg, seaweed, and meat, making the price worth it. And the long wait was actually exactly what I needed to have good conversations with my family, as I have mentioned before. Once we did receive the food, however, it was worth the wait, and we all chowed down on our delicious, perfectly cooked ramen. This restaurant's hours were also the perfect time for a brunch, lunch, or dinner, giving you the option to have sushi any time and almost every day of the week. From 11:30am to 3pm, this restaurant runs its ramen factory delight before taking a break and then resuming the delicious business from 5pm to 8pm every day except for Wednesday, in which they are off. Moving on to the best part of the restaurant: The actual taste and texture of the food. I ordered the Yoshi Ramen, and after waiting, I was served a beautifully arranged bowl of ramen topped with many different add-ons and ingredients. It had a very mellow and soft texture with a very pleasant and almost sweet aroma. The add-ons were soft from the broth and tasted amazing mixed in with the ramen. The ramen was perfectly cooked and a complete level up from the cup of noodles I am so used to having at home. Overall the food itself was amazing, and I can't wait to go back soon. From the texture and taste of the food to the friendly service, I was so happy with this restaurant. I love ramen, and getting the chance to taste the real deal was a great experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The calming feel of the restaurant and the attentiveness of the servers made my meal even more enjoyable and led me to believe that Yoshi Ramen and sushi truly do care about their customers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, I was pleased with each aspect of this restaurant and can't wait for my next visit. I recommend this restaurant to all looking for a tasty meal with friendly service and delicious ramen and sushi!

So, I spotted this trendy new restaurant on Yelp and thought, why not give it a try? Today was only their 8th day since opening. It's located in a massive parking lot right next to Raleys! Here's the deal: you walk in, place your order at the counter, and they hand you a number for table delivery. We went for the chicken yaki udon bowl with the owner's special spicy sauce, and the kids combo with yummy chicken teriyaki. As well as a kids ramen with a soft-boiled egg. The owner was so helpful in guiding us on what to order. And let me tell you, the food came out fresh, piping hot, and faster than you can say 'hungry!' We're already counting down the days until we can go back and explore more of their delicious menu. Can't wait!

Wonderful food. I love the Ramen. Also, the California rolls. salad was great too. I dig this place and I eat here frequently. Five stars for sure.

The Ramen was delicious. The service was average (if that). The ambience was average. We ordered at the front counter after entering the establishment. We then walked unaccompanied to a table of our choice. Unfortunately the best option was next to a huge flat screen television. The T.V kills the ambiance. After our food was served, no one checked on us for the remainder of our dinner. I had to get up and request a few things from the lady. She was not personable after we ordered at the counter. Not a place worth tipping. It's like a taqueria for ramen. The ramen was delicious.

Glad to have this place nearby. Walked up to the counter to order takeout. Service was friendly and efficient. Black tonkatsu ramen was tasty. Portion may not be big enough for the bigger appetite, though. If you do take out like I did, I'd recommend heating up your broth to make sure it's hot because it improves the taste a lot. Teriyaki chicken yoshi (rice) bowl seemed to be a good portion but the husband said it needed more teriyaki sauce. The restaurant did appear clean with a nice ambiance, if you decide to eat there.

    Black tonkotsu ramen YUM!

It was 5:00 and only one other family was eating, but they had a lot of to go orders. Despite their to go orders, service was great. We were promptly greeted and sat. Our drinks were brought to us quickly as well. Our food also came out quickly. We ordered Pepper Fin t share and then I got a 49er roll and my husband got a double spicy roll. We both really liked the pepper fin. We also enjoyed our rolls. My only critique is that the rolls were rolled very loosely. The pieces feel apart as soon as they were separated. I would definitely come back. There is a beautiful mural along the back wall that really is a nice piece of the restaurant. It's small, but so delicious!

My husband ordered the teriyaki bento box, my daughter ordered the spicy salmon roll, and I ordered the spicy tuna. We also ordered Miso soups for our appetizers. We were also given Korean glass noodles, on the house to taste test. Everything was delicious! Generous portions as well as reasonably priced. I love the creamy sesame salad dressing . The tempura was light and not greasy at all. I liked that they served the teriyaki sauce separately so you can control how much sauce is on the chicken based on your preference. Our rolls were served with a little spicy mayo and I believe eel sauce on the side of the plate ( nice touch! My daughter and I are sauce people lol) The Korean glass noodles were nicely mixed with veggies and small beef slices. Yummy!! I would order it if it were permanent on the menu :) Great experience and fabulous people!

We ordered an $8 oyster shooter, most come with either hot sake or cold sake, theirs was room temperature, a little roe, tiny oyster in a very tiny one shot glass. It took 30 minutes before it was served. We also ordered sea salt edamane, stuffed jalapeños, sunomono salad. The cucumber salad was very good, the edamane looked like they had been frozen then defrosted and served, and the stuffed jalapeños tasted off, we ate them, 4 total. My wife ordered a spider roll, it had a strong gamy taste like a lower grade fish that was used. My wife tried two pieces, swallowed the first and spit the second into her napkin, to her it was awful. I ordered the Shashimi Regular, that came with a small salad and miso soup, they were both good, I received the shashimi last, long after the spider roll; it was interesting, but the fish was more of a class C instead of a class A. Their prices were class A and the fish didn't meet that expectation. It was an $84.50 meal but didn't meet the expectations of a class A sushi meal. The waitress was very professional and asked us about the meal, we were honest and she took the spider roll off the bill. She offered an other roll but by then my wife was done. My wife declined the offer. The restaurant's ambiance was modern and very nice. I would not recommend eating here to my friends.

I also appreciated that the miso soup was included; it had a perfect consistency and wasn't overly salty. However, the side salad was a bit of a letdown, it was quite bland and barely had dressing.
