    Yoshi Ramen sub chicken

I got the Yoshi Ramen, the broth lacked flavor. The noodles were very thin and reminded me of the noodles that come in the little Maruchan instant noodle bags. They were also a bit too soft for what I'm used to when it comes to Ramen. The young man at the counter was great. I would rate his customer service five out of five. He was very hospitable, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Inside was nice and clean. I want to try other things on the menu so I'll be back.

Recently stopped by for lunch. Walked up to the counter and gave our order to a pleasant staff person (who later delivered our beverages and food, made sure we didn't need anything else mid-meal, and lastly gave us our bill and took our payment). The wait for our food was quite short (between 5-10 minutes). I had the namesake Yoshi Ramen, which incidentally does not include bok choy, as an older menu photo here on Yelp shows. That same menu photo also says 'thick noodle' for most Ramens, but wisely they've also removed that from the current menu, since it's a normal Ramen noodle. Not that there's anything wrong with that, as the noodles were delicious, as was my Ramen. The broth was very tasty, as was the cha-shu pork. My husband had the Vegetable Ramen (his did come with two pieces of bok choy). He said the vegetable broth was flavorful, and didn't seem overly salty. He also appreciated that the tofu was organic. It was a very good experience overall.

The service was great and staff were very friendly. We got seated quickly. Cozy inside and the food was so delicious!

    Yoshi Ramen

Are you looking for a tasty noodle dish that leaves your mouth watering and wanting more? Yoshi Ramen and Sushi, located at 6869 Douglas Blvd, Granite Bay, was a great and fun experience that satisfies just that. According to one of the nice servers, this business has been running since 2012, or for over a decade, and the food clearly shows this experience. This Chinese restaurant has everything from friendly staff and service to a delicious meal topped with perfectly plated condiments. It is located in the perfect place to not spend seemingly hours looking for parking and includes only a 30-second walk from your car, making it easily accessible. The restaurant was clean, and even fellow customers were friendly, which helped give this restaurant a great homey feel. I loved the atmosphere and pleasant impression and would truly suggest that you pay it a visit. Starting off strong, here are the top five things I loved about Yoshi Ramen and Sushi: The amazing atmosphere, the high quality of the food, the presentation of the meal, the kindness of the servers, and the cleanliness of the restaurant. Each of these things blew me out of the water and gave me an overall great experience while eating. To start out, each aspect I took note of seemed better than the last. I started off by thinking the service was really nice, then I got to the actual food, and it seemed even better. This restaurant is also great for family dinners, as it gave me a chance to catch up with my siblings and take a break from my busy schedule. During my visit, the overall experience was wonderful; however, it was a little bit expensive, or around $20 for a bowl of ramen, and the food took a while to arrive. Though a bit pricey, the ramen came with many add-ins, such as egg, seaweed, and meat, making the price worth it. And the long wait was actually exactly what I needed to have good conversations with my family, as I have mentioned before. Once we did receive the food, however, it was worth the wait, and we all chowed down on our delicious, perfectly cooked ramen. This restaurant's hours were also the perfect time for a brunch, lunch, or dinner, giving you the option to have sushi any time and almost every day of the week. From 11:30am to 3pm, this restaurant runs its ramen factory delight before taking a break and then resuming the delicious business from 5pm to 8pm every day except for Wednesday, in which they are off. Moving on to the best part of the restaurant: The actual taste and texture of the food. I ordered the Yoshi Ramen, and after waiting, I was served a beautifully arranged bowl of ramen topped with many different add-ons and ingredients. It had a very mellow and soft texture with a very pleasant and almost sweet aroma. The add-ons were soft from the broth and tasted amazing mixed in with the ramen. The ramen was perfectly cooked and a complete level up from the cup of noodles I am so used to having at home. Overall the food itself was amazing, and I can't wait to go back soon. From the texture and taste of the food to the friendly service, I was so happy with this restaurant. I love ramen, and getting the chance to taste the real deal was a great experience. The calming feel of the restaurant and the attentiveness of the servers made my meal even more enjoyable and led me to believe that Yoshi Ramen and sushi truly do care about their customers. Overall, I was pleased with each aspect of this restaurant and can't wait for my next visit. I recommend this restaurant to all looking for a tasty meal with friendly service and delicious ramen and sushi!

Haven't been here for a while and this place is still great: awesome service, nice environment, delicious food, and reasonable price! Kids loved their chicken teriyaki and sushi, and parents enjoyed ramen. Will definitely be back soon!

Wonderful food. I love the Ramen. Also, the California rolls. salad was great too. I dig this place and I eat here frequently. Five stars for sure.

    Black tonkotsu ramen YUM!

Came here with one of my boys. It's a cute casual ramen place tucked in a local strip mall. You order at the counter and they bring the food right to you. Service was prompt. The black tonkotsu ramen was very flavorful. My son said the spice of the spicy tonkotsu ramen did not 'stick' to the noodles so he was a bit disappointed. It's good to know we have a local spot for when the ramen craving hits!

Menu to the right when you walk in.

So, I spotted this trendy new restaurant on Yelp and thought, why not give it a try? Today was only their 8th day since opening. It's located in a massive parking lot right next to Raleys! Here's the deal: you walk in, place your order at the counter, and they hand you a number for table delivery. We went for the chicken yaki udon bowl with the owner's special spicy sauce, and the kids combo with yummy chicken teriyaki. As well as a kids ramen with a soft-boiled egg. The owner was so helpful in guiding us on what to order. And let me tell you, the food came out fresh, piping hot, and faster than you can say 'hungry!' We're already counting down the days until we can go back and explore more of their delicious menu. Can't wait!

The Ramen was delicious. The service was average (if that). The ambience was average. We ordered at the front counter after entering the establishment. We then walked unaccompanied to a table of our choice. Unfortunately the best option was next to a huge flat screen television. The T.V kills the ambiance. After our food was served, no one checked on us for the remainder of our dinner. I had to get up and request a few things from the lady. She was not personable after we ordered at the counter. Not a place worth tipping. It's like a taqueria for ramen. The ramen was delicious.

    Black tonkatsu ramen

Glad to have this place nearby. Walked up to the counter to order takeout. Service was friendly and efficient. Black tonkatsu ramen was tasty. Portion may not be big enough for the bigger appetite, though. If you do take out like I did, I'd recommend heating up your broth to make sure it's hot because it improves the taste a lot. Teriyaki chicken yoshi (rice) bowl seemed to be a good portion but the husband said it needed more teriyaki sauce. The restaurant did appear clean with a nice ambiance, if you decide to eat there.

Just tried Yoshi ramen on day 3 of business. Close to my house and only ramen place nearby. Excited to try their agedashi tofu, salmon special, mixed tempura, spicy tonkatsu ramen, and ca rolls! The ramen is special. The broth was so flavorful, the pork very tender, the noodles slightly firm, overall a great bowl of ramen! Definitely reminds me of some delicious ramen I ate in Japan. My 5 year old said that was yummy alright. I'd eat it again! I agree. My family and I will be repeat patrons because I want good places near me to stay open!

Amazing Ramen place! I got the Shoyu ramen and it was delicious! I'm going to try the others soon.

Automatically taking in the ambience of the restaurant, it felt really clean and has a nice dim light that makes the dining experience feel private. The service was very attentive and they'll do a temperature check on how the food is with you after you receive your meal and they were all genuinely very friendly. 10/10 for the service, no doubt. For food, we ordered their "Fukumi Ramen" and their chicken karaage . Chicken karaage came out first and was freshly fried. The coating was amazingly light and the chicken itself was flavorful. It comes served with a lemon wedge and tiny pieces of salad and the dressing in the salad was delicious! For the Fukumi Ramen bowl itself, the initial taste of the broth was flavorful and the black garlic oil was a nice touch. You'll immediately notice how thickkkk their chasu slices are and I think the free order of extra noodles is a nice plus. However, the thin noodles served with the Fukumi Ramen bowl seemed like a lighter color than I normally see at ramen places and the noodles were overcooked so I feel like it obscured the overall taste of the ramen itself since ramen noodles make up so much of the bite. Even though the extra noodles were free and a nice complimentary addition, I feel like I could tell why because the ramen noodles lacked the quality the rest of the bowl had. The tamago egg was decent and I was surprised because it looked like a plain white boiled egg rather than the traditional brown seasoned egg you get in ramen. Overall, I think Fukumi Ramen can do the job of satisfying a cold rainy day, and I think with their wide variety of ramen options, you'll definitely have to try and find one that might hit for you! Portions are huge here too so it might take a couple visits to try more options!
