Naperville Optical is the best opticians office I have ever gone to. I have been treated with such love & kindness here, it's unlike any other experience I've had while purchasing glasses/contacts. Or anything else, for that matter. Eunice & her entire staff are all so lovely. I do not write reviews for places but if anyone deserves one, it is Naperville Optical. They have a wide selection of glasses to chose from, ranging from very affordable styles & childrens' styles, all the way to high-end brands such as Gucci. Not to mention that the entire staff is so welcoming and helpful. Each of them are extremely knowledgable about any questions you may have. They all remember my name and welcome me whenever I come back in. And it's not just me, I watch them do this for all customers. It's a level of care that is unmatched elsewhere. The amazing people who work here all seem to truly care for their community & care about helping others be able to see. So if you are deciding between eye doctors or looking for a new good one, this is surely the place for you :)

First - they deleted by Google review :) I came in as a new…read morepatient based on the positive reviews and had a great experience with the doctor, he was prompt, kind, and informative. However, my experience with the staff, particularly Collette, was disappointing. After my exam, I worked with Collette to try on frames for my low prescription. I found a pair I liked but decided to hold off until I felt better and could return with a second opinion. Collette made a subtle remark under her breath about hoping the frames would still be there, which struck me as unnecessary. Two days later, she called to ask if I was coming back for the frames. When I explained that I was still deciding and had requested a copy of my prescription, her tone noticeably shifted. She sounded curt and dismissive, and told me getting my prescription wasn't her department, even though the front desk is only steps away. When I later called back for an update, she answered again and was just as dismissive. I didn't feel confident my request would be followed through, and asked to speak with someone else. Her response made it clear that helping me was a burden. Ultimately, I had to make a third contact and visit the office in person to get my prescription. Even then, it wasn't signed by the doctor, and no one, including Collette, acknowledged the confusion or offered an apology. I've worked in customer service and wouldn't speak to any customer the way I was spoken to. I expected more from an office with such strong reviews and designer branding. Unfortunately, due to the unprofessional behavior I experienced, I won't be returning.

I was so happy the way they turned out, I decided to have another pair made into sunglasses. Once again, Dr. Vitale and staff did an amazing job fitting another twenty five year old pair of Ray-Ban Wayfarers (tortoise frames) with prescription "transition" lenses. In the past year, I've had Dr. Vitale's office transform four pairs of regular sunglasses into prescription sunglasses, including an expensive pair of Harley sunglasses, and, another twenty five year old pair of Ray-Ban wraps (tortoise biker frames) All four pairs work great while riding too! In case you're wondering about the twenty five year old Ray-Bans, back then a good friend was the Chicago rep for Ray-Ban, and GAVE samples of whatever I liked. I'd HIGHLY recommend Dr. Vitale and staff for all your eye care needs, they're AWESOME!

I'm a repeat LensCrafters customer, but I was unaware of their partnership with Macy's. I chose this particular location because they had a specific frame I wanted in stock. Appointment set up was consist with any stand alone LensCrafters, via the website. The optometrist was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The store clerk was equally friendly and informative. Since I'd been there before, the process was expedited. She even informed me that my initial frame choice didn't support prescription lens. I was quickly able to find a comparable frame. The only issue: the duration to complete my glasses was slightly longer than expected based on my experience with other LensCrafters. It took 9 business days. This isn't really an issue, if you're patient. The fame selection was also limited.

They take detailed images of your eyeball so you can actually see what's going on, which was incredibly reassuring for me after having an eye issue a few years ago. Being able to visually confirm that everything looks good gave me real peace of mind. Dr. Sayed herself was funny, knowledgeable, and made me feel good about being there and taking care of myself.
