We arrived at 5:45pm with a couple of my son teammates and the place was closed because they ran out of a certain product. Workers were still in the shop probably cleaning and one said they're closed. A few weeks ago, I went to their location and got a simple smash where it's a cinnamon sugar donut and I put strawberry cheesecake ice cream in the middle. We came here shortly before closing as we were driving by and saw it. It looked delicious! We walked in and were met with a bright neon store that smelled sweet. The overall look is very fun and really cool to look at. Although it was closing time all the girls were quick to drop what they were doing and greet us. The girl behind the counter was really nice and offered suggestions and gave us time to look over the menu. The smashed donut was really good! It's the strawberry short cake and it tastes exactly like it! The donut was a bit chewy but that's to be expected with putting the donut in a waffle press. Warm, soft yet creamy cold ice cream with a good selection of flavours. I especially loved the crunchy biscoff smashed donut! It could have been better without a lot of crunch on top, gets messy!! The menu has a lot to offer from donuts to milk shakes and their famous smash donuts. My daughter ordered 4 mini donuts - 2 strawberry sprinkles, samoa and chocolate m&m's. They were so cute! We also ordered a simply smashed donut with strawberry cheesecake ice cream. They call out your order and over the microphone they announce their rule of taking the first bite at the counter which was also not expected! The ice cream was really good. Such a cool vibe with super great people working at this place. I enjoyed the decor, music and the big screen playing a football game. The concept of this place is warm donuts wrapped around a cold scoop of ice cream and sprinkled with toppings. There's a big selection of donuts and ice cream flavors to choose from. My only negative is that the donut (ordered the Nutella ice cream sandwich) was a little bit on the not so fresh side and it was NOT warm. It comes with your choice of ice cream in the middle with the donut rolled in cinnamon. They're running a special, 2 for $10 or 1 for $6. Bring a friend and try these, they are AMAZING! Your name will be called on the loudspeaker. At Yonutz, they want you to take your first bite right there. That warm donut with the cold ice cream is a great contrast. So a donut with a small bit of ice cream is $6 and if you want toppings, that's $8 and a milkshake with a mini donut is $9. The donut was ok, just a basic donut, I thought it would had been better warm, which is what I thought the lady alluded to. When you pick up your order, they have to announce it on their loudspeaker and proclaim you have take a bite right that second, even if it is to go. Overall it was ok, but seems way over priced for what you get. Think maybe half a scoop of ice cream and a basic donut, so what is that like $2 worth of food? Big on branding, so much so that they are "home to" influencers per the website, Yonutz's claim to fame is a "SMASHED" Donut seen at Afters since 2014, though here the Donuts baked twice-daily are uniquely topped or filled with more choices than the competition. Roughly $3 per Donut without Ice Cream, seemingly a bargain compared to the likes of Wicked, St. Honore or Gabi, where Yonutz falls short is actually the products themselves as Donuts are on par with Dunkin thanks to a flavorless base that is dense yet slightly dry. Opened November 11th, the owner still on-site offering free bites to guests in early January, roughly half the "Giant" Donuts come simply glazed while others arrive with minimal filling, "Apple Pie" and Nutella barely perceptible while Dulce De Leche, Samoa and Salted Caramel Biscoff aren't really "giant" but overloaded enough to make up for the unremarkable Dough and good enough to warrant a return for some Ice Cream. read more

I was recommended this place to try because it's a fun concept and I like donuts and also ice cream. Right off the bat the staff are super friendly and welcoming and very enthusiastic about being there but it doesn't come across as fake. It's a good vibe. They have a rewards program like most places and it's highly encouraged on your first visit to join, but joining is kinda clunky and the spending/reward scale isn't very good. They offer a variety of donuts but only a small selection of ice cream flavors. I had a French Toast smashed donut which came with vanilla ice cream, a caramel drizzle, Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal and sprinkles I believe. The concept sounds great on paper - a tasty donut and ice cream, smashed in a sort of waffle maker device and then cut in half. The downside to this is that no single element of what I ordered actually tasted remarkably good. The donut is bland and mostly flavorless. The ice cream is basic vanilla and nothing exciting. I couldn't taste the caramel drizzle and the cereal flavor was lost in the mix. Overall I didn't honestly enjoy any of it. The ice cream makes the donut cold and kind hard to eat but soggy on the inside and it winds up just being a mediocre experience. I think as a gimmick it's worth trying and they have a lot of other options on the menu like just ice cream and just donuts but when you smash them together it just kinda doesn't work well at all. 3/5 worth trying but I probably won't be back. read more

Really friendly crew, affordable prices and surprisingly have a gluten friendly option. Went here because my friends wanted donut ice cream sandwiches.
