Found this spot through my suggestions on Yelp and finally got to try it this morning! Went for one of their Signature lattes: Maple Cinnamon Iced Latte. Absolutely delicious! It's not super sweet and the coffee flavor really pushes through. It tastes like milk from Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I love it and not sure if I would even try any other item on their menu because of how good this one is. The coffee spot is in the corner of the parking lot by Albertson's and what a cute little spot it is. They have really nice merch as well! Great spot for studying / working - there are outlets in the cafe. It has a few spots indoor but also have outdoor spaces as well. Staff are super nice and friendly. I ordered their regular latte and chocolate chip cookie. Perfect match! The coffee is on the stronger side but love that they have different flavours such as lavender and vanilla. I saw other people order lavender latte and it seems like the most popular item haha so I will definitely try that next time. Overall great atmosphere, reasonably priced and great service :) read more

A friend and I tried to meet up here for afternoon coffee. It was cute tucked into the corner, but so quiet inside! Looked like everyone was diligently working or studying. There was one small table open in the middle but it wasn't really a good place to chat. We ended up leaving for that reason. Maybe I'll come back whenI need a place to work. I love Yonder Coffee. I go there almost every week since i do my studying/classes there. I even just hang out there with my friends sometimes. The service is amazing, everyone is so nice. Hanging out there is so relaxing, love the aesthetic. I havent been to a lot of their events, but they hold these really fun events, including a mini farmers market. Not only are their drinks delicious, pastries and desserts are very delicious as well. This is the true definition of a hidden gem. Yonder has become my favorite place ever. From the coffee to the hospitality. The coffee is one of a kind. My go to is the maple cinnamon latte. Absolutely delicious. Everyone here is amazing, super welcoming and nice. Don't even get me started on baker Jagg, most amazing baked goods I've ever had in my life. The banana bread is to die for. The cookies and coffee cake are delicious. Everything is always fresh and tasty. Props to the chef. Not to mention they have small business/shop pop ups all the time. It's a decent cup of coffee and with pretty tasty blueberry scones in the Northridge area. I just kinda stumbled across it when I was in the area and trying to find something local that wasn't a chain. So far, I've had their Maple Cinnamon Latte and the Peppermint Mocha. The maple flavor was good, but I couldn't really detect much cinnamon--which is fine was I was really after the maple...I was hoping to find something that compared to the delicious maple latte I had at a cafe in Canada...this wasn't bad. With the peppermint mocha, I couldn't get much peppermint flavor. Regardless, I don't find their drinks to be overly sweet, so that's good. The blueberry scone is probably what I really go back for. It's not dry like many scones out there and there's a good amount of blueberries in it. I thought the glaze on top would make it too sweet, but it doesn't. It actually balances out the butteriness of the scone. There are nice folks here. They have a punch card though I forgot to ask what you get when you fill it up. There is a good amount of seating if you count the outdoor patio area. I recommend coming here on a nice day. There's plenty of parking in the front and back because it's located in an Albertson's shopping center. And in support of small businesses, this place is worth a try. read more

ordered 2 fall drinks and asked for light ice (as we all know, they tend to submerge the "coffee" with ice and will end up paying for ice). Given that scenario, they called my order and I saw the cups not filled up all the way , like seriously? Paid $14 for 2 small cups of coffee that didn't even taste like any coffee, and was not filled up all the way. I must say this place is a ripoff . They had unique ideas but poorly executed their products. Their interior is 10/10, cozy. Drinks 4/10 read more

Awesome hidden gem, in the words of another guest "this is a shocker for The Valley"! The inside is super neat, clean and an oasis during those hot days. The coffee is great tasting and the staff is very courteous and willing to accommodate any special requests. The patio is shaded and spacious with plenty of seating and your pooch best friend is welcomed here. Please note at the time of writing this, dogs aren't allowed inside so please enter the patio directly through the side door. The pricing is very reasonable as well. We just moved here from Colorado and one of the things that sucks about moving is having to find all your favorite spots again. This place just made that a little bit easier. read more

Located in the corner of a plaza, I couldn't find at first, but I'm glad I did. In town for an appointment, I visited a little after 3 pm. No line and plenty of open chairs. I liked the merch and decor such as the eye-catching books on tables. There's a patio I wouldn't mind sitting in for a meet up or a little reading. I also liked my iced Maple Cinnamon oatmilk latte. A hidden coffee shop in a supermarket plaza, that has good vibes and great coffee to study at. The baristas were super nice and quick to make drinks. I enjoyed my iced lattes and my time here while studying. They have a spacious outdoor area as well to hang out. The ambience was relaxed and filled with mixed interior designs that worked all together cohesively. Lots of people studying here mostly, so if you're looking for a place to study - this your spot. Just had my first experience here at Yonder Coffee and OMG... this place is incredible!!!! I highly recommend the lavender iced latte with Ube foam and the Burrata toast. It's sooooooo good!!!! Ok Turon Latte!! i was surprised to see this as an option, because I'm thinking, "how can you make a latte taste like Turon?!" I stand corrected. This latte was so good! The espresso was not too overwhelming, the banana and jackfruit flavor that you would find in a turon was showcased excellently. The crispy lumpia wrap on top was good too, but eventually would start to get soggy if you let the drink sit for a while, not a big deal though! Still a great drink. Great shop, love the vibe here. Best drinks and sweetest folks around! I ordered a drink on Uber eats after surgery and the order was made iced, not hot by mistake (I requested a straw which could throw any barista off). I placed another order on the app with a note and they were kind enough to send me a stamp card for a free drink with my order. Needed a place to camp out for a bit, so decided to stop by Yonder! It might be a little hard to find since construction took down all the store fronts, but just follow the "coffee" sign and you're golden. COFFEE - I got the sweet cinnamon latte, which I really liked! The spices were just the right amount to complement the espresso and milk. I would definitely recommend! PARKING - Plenty. Don't worry about it and come through. STUDY SPACE - There's outdoor and indoor options. I personally liked the outdoor patio area, which has plenty of shade. They have Wi-Fi here, as well as outlets both inside and outside. Honestly, any place with outlets had a special place in my heart. DOG-FRIENDLY - they let dogs in on the patio and have free dog treats for your furry friend! Just make sure to use their designated dog entrance. Overall, a really cute coffee joint and a good place to catch up with a friend or get some work done! read more

Yonder coffee is tucked away in the corner of a strip mall in the SFV. Think of Yonder coffee as a hidden treasure. It has a cute, low key vibe with soothing decor. If you don't want to drink your delicious drink inside, they offer patio seating which provides the right amount of shade but still lets you enjoy the beautiful California weather. Besides providing excellent food and drink (their blueberry scones are so delicious and wonderful with a cake texture), they have a fridge stocked with Pressed Juicery as well. What I love about Yonder, besides the homey vibe, is that their coffee and espresso is about as bitter as me thinking about my childhood. I had an awesome experience here this morning. Came in with my 9 year old to get some work done. The staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered the vanilla latte which was delicious and the blueberry scone...yum. My kid ordered a blueberry tea and bagel and said it was "super good". There are several spots to plug in and while I worked on notes, my girl read her Harry Potter book. I like that they serve their beverages in actually mugs to reduce waste. I'll be back! read more

Poor communication & service. Theres always an issue with their avocado toast. It's been 3 times they're either sold out or not serving it. Today we called ahead & they said they stop serving it at 1pm. We get there before 1 & they said they're no longer serving it. After driving all the way from Santa Clarita. Wasted our gas & time. Hands down the best coffee in the San Fernando Valley! Also the baristas are all friendly and awesome. My go to is the lavender latte don't even need to say half sweet here it's simply perfect. The seasonal drinks are always worth a try, they never disappoint! Also if you see cookies at the pastry display get one or two! I'm so glad I came across this coffee shop. It's located in a pretty big plaza, with plenty of parking space. It looks like they're going through some exterior updates so it may be hard to spot from afar, but it's there. You enter and it's cute and bright and you get a view of their outside patio which is just filled with so much green. It looks like such a good place to sit down and enjoy your drink. They seem to have a few locals and returning customers because when I went they were chatting with some customers. I didn't get a chance to talk to them since they were busy with their familiars. But they did prepare my iced latte pretty quickly, so I was in and out pretty swiftly, despite the distractions. They also seem to have random pop-ups with local artists/sellers. They were selling plants and jewelry out in their patio, which was fun to browse. I'm excited that Northridge has delicious coffee! read more

Literally cannot go wrong with any item on the menu here. The lattes are absolutely amazing, the ube latte was my favorite. The avocado and feta toast blew me away. I came here because it's across the street from where we live and i've seen it before but it was okay. They don't have many options coffee wise and i've had better. Their pastries always change. I tried an Ube Coconut cookie and I wouldn't order it again. It was just sweet with hardly any other flavor. read more

I am a regular here and have enjoyed most of the drinks I have gotten. I usually get the agape love, which is slightly sweet, but you can still taste the coffee. I tend drink black coffee, but the agape love keeps calling my name. I recently got the cold brew with the ube cold foam. I tried some of the ube cold foam by itself and it was quite sweet but a strong ube flavor! After I mixed it the ube flavor was a little lost in the drink, but after some time (I like drink coffee over time) and the ube flavor made an appearance again! I really enjoy ube, but a lot of restaurants/coffee shops the ube is too subtle to the point you can't taste it. This is somewhere in the middle, but still a really good drink and coffee shop! Ambience is really nice and friendly staff. I like that there is an outdoor seating area, but it can smell a bit because of the large trash cans in the back. read more

This location is the newest (only about a year or so?) of the three. Each store has a similar and yet distinct style/focus. Parking at first glance also seems difficult but don't worry, there's plenty in the parking garage behind the shop/ below the apartment building. The shop itself is beautiful! Compared to the other two locations, this location is most spacious; There's outdoor seating as well and indoor seating. It's pretty family friendly and equally accommodating to students/working professionals who need a place to do some work. There's a grab and go section, for those who need a quick bite as well as some food items- pastries and burritos. Overall, the environment is pretty relaxed and chill. As far as drinks go, I've tried several- everything from the drip, pour overs, espresso shots, americanos, sweet lattes, and pictured, both matcha and einspanner dreams from the last time I came with my husband and parents. Pricing is fair but most importantly, all their drinks are good! The espresso is good consistently which in turn makes all their coffee drinks delicious. All the speciality drinks are not overly sweet and well balanced, unless requested. Specifically from the last visit, the vanilla cream on top of the einspanner/matcha dreams were to die for. My husband, who isn't a coffee drinker also mentioned how good the matcha was, even with almond milk (he's lactose). Besides the good coffee, all the Houseroots locations are set apart by their hospitality, and this shop is unparalleled. I had such an amazing experience today, and I really want to share it. I believe his name was Justin, and his service was truly exceptional. From the moment I walked in, he greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel genuinely welcomed. It wasn't just good customer service--it felt like he truly cared. I was having a really rough morning. I've been dealing with some heavy emotions, thinking about 9/11 and also remembering my grandpa who passed away. It was one of those days where everything just feels overwhelming. Justin noticed something was off and took the time to talk with me. He didn't rush me or brush it off--he actually listened. Yonder Coffee is such a charming little spot! Plenty of parking makes it super convenient, whether you're grabbing a quick drink or settling in to get some work done. I visited on a Saturday around noon, and while it was fairly busy, the service was still fast and friendly. I ordered the Iced Matcha Latte with Sea Salt Cold Foam, which had a great flavor. I personally wish the matcha taste was a bit stronger, but I still really enjoyed it and would absolutely order it again. Next time, I can't wait to try their Ube Cold Foam--it sounds amazing! One of the best things about this café is the outdoor seating. It's such a peaceful and relaxing environment, perfect for studying or working. It's super good lattes!! It's my first time here LMAO so I asked what's pretty good here. Ended up getting the vanilla latte w/ oat milk. A lil pricy, but tbh I rather get this than anything else. I don't like Starbucks's coffee, and this was perfect. My only complaint is my back from these chairs, so, i recommend bringing a pillow. :) I love the outside btw, it's super cute. When you come in, it's refreshing to see the open space. It's clean with plenty of seating whether you want to sit and dine and work or head to the back to just chill. I got their iced dirty chai. I've been craving one lately and it hit the spot. They had sandwich samples so tried their turkey sandwich. Also I got to meet the owner and he was nice enough to let me try a sample of their chocolate chip cookie which it had sea salt and made with sourdough. It was also warmed up for me. I can taste the combination of the cookie and it was really good. I would get this because it's different and it works. The owner is really nice and explained how they came here to the valley and have other locations in Palmdale. Parking is on the street or the small paid parking lot in the back but on the other side of the block. I think this area needed something more modern like this.

We are so happy we tried JV Espresso Bar and Catering. It was our first time trying their coffee…read moredrinks. JV Espresso Bar and Catering was highly recommended to us by a dear friend. This pretty coffee shop is located in a small plaza with free parking available. As soon as we walked into JV Espresso Bar and Catering we were greeted by this sweet barista and cashier. She made suggestions. She provided excellent customer service. We ordered the Orange Heart Latte and the Adelita. Wow! The Orange Heart Latte was delicious. It was perfect. I enjoyed the orange and espresso combination. There were orange pulps too in the latte which I thought was unique. Really excellent coffee. We can't wait to come back and try other coffee items on JV Espresso Bar and Catering's menu.

I ordered a Matcha latte and was really happy they made it exactly how I like it, not too sweet. My husband tried the Abelita latte, it was a solid coffee, though he mentioned it would be even better with some marzipan bits mixed in. We also shared the Chicken Pesto Panini, and wow, we highly recommend getting this! It was really, really good. If you're in the area and looking for a quick bite and a custom-made drink, definitely check this place out.
