Great spot for a sweet fix! The self-serve setup is fun, and there's always a wide variety of flavors of some classics and a few seasonal surprises. Toppings are fresh and plentiful, and the staff keeps everything really clean. My only gripe is that a couple flavors taste more artificial than I'd like, but overall it's a solid choice when you're craving frozen yogurt. There are tables to be seated and enjoy your treat. This is self-serve. You put as much yogurt ice cream as you want and as much toppings as you want. This location didn't seem to have all the toppings, but I usually put the same toppings anyway. After you just get weighed and the geavier it is, the more expensive it is. I usually pay about 7 or 8 bucks. I really like pineapple flavored ice cream, so that was good here. The only thing is that the cups are behind the counter. The worker has to give it to you. I guess people steal them. read more

I just had stopped by and they don't accept Apple Pay. Don't show you how much you will pay by the lbs, they verbally tell how much was your yogurt bowl. I'm pretty sure this is against the franchise policy. Be aware! They said only cash, really weird! read more

Every time I have been here the service has been crappy. I would have bought a lot more of the yogurt, if I could've sampled two other flavors that I had never tried before. So I left there with a large cup with very little yogurt in it. They charging outrageous amount, well above what is normal for Yogurtland and they have very few decent flavors. read more

Let me start off by stating the obvious. Froyo rules. We all know this. Now add some super delish gourmet toppings like berries, butterfinger and even mochi and you're tastebuds are fighting for their right to party like it's 1999 all over again. Full disclosure - The Lo Mooners did not stop at this Travelplaza in Baker, CA for Yogurtland. We needed to switch out the pilot in Jaquie (our new rented rock mobile) and the Chevron seemed as good a place as any to do so. Whilst stopped we figured it was a smart move to visit the bathroom as we still had a long haul ahead of us. What I did not anticipate however, would be the subtle beckon of Yogurtland's pristine chrome corridor... it just seemed to whisper sweet and squishy nothings as I walked by... "Come boy, come hither and ascend to yogurt heaven." Resistance was futile. I served myself a combination of Dutch Chocolate, Coconut and Pistachio and proceeded to the final fantasy / the final nightmare - the TOPPINGS. I have always said that variety is the spice of life and this my friends is where a truly great toppings bar will outshine the rest. A top notch toppings bar will have all that you could conceive or desire and more. This particular one I must admit, was ok. Everything was pretty standard apart from what I first thought may have been salmon roe, but decided that that would be a little too far out for a Yogurtland in a Travelplaza in Baker, CA. I'm Still unsure of what it was but have added a pic so if anyone can tell me feel free to comment. I've gone here at least 4 times during business hours, on my long drive through the desert, counting down the miles, and hours until I get there, and boom! They are always closed during business hours. Huge fail! I'm never wasting my time or getting my hopes up about this place again. I obviously really wanted it to work out, I mean, at least 4 times I took a detour just for some froyo yumminess, and it never worked out. It's not me, it's definitely you! Stopped here on the way to Ca from Vegas. The selection on this day was diverse with a variety of salty, sweet, and tart options. Toppings were standard as you would see at any other Yogurtland. What stood out to me was the price. Of course there is an upcharge because of the location. It's .59 an ounce so that is about 15 to 20 cents higher than normal because this location is in the middle of nowheresville! When I went to check out I asked about the rewards program. The employee did not know what I was talking about but I did appreciate the fact that she went in the back to ask another employee so I could at least earn some points for this visit. Also be cognizant of the scale as mine was not cleared from a previous purchase so my yogurt almost cost me $12.86 instead of $6.43. read more

I was pleasantly surprised to see this cool little food court in the middle of nowhere. We stopped off on our way home from Vegas to use the bathroom and my kids had already eaten however yogurtland made for the perfect pit stop for a cool sweet treat. I had a horrible experience here and need to get ahold of corporate. I went into this location after a long drive home to California and asked if I can get sample cups for the fro yo and she gave me one cup. I asked if I could have another one and she said no. I was confused and went to try them. She sent her boss out to watch me and I felt not only uncomfortable but so angry that they were possibly profiling me and someway. I asked "Veronica" if they do a military discount because all Yogurtlands I've been usually offer it. I showed her my ID card and she took it and said they do. She never gave me the discount. Normal , nothing different about this one compared to all the other places. Yogurt was good toppings was good, the only thing that was different is that the lady working was quite rude. She didn't want to refill the toppings when clearly there wasn't enough to even put two scoops into my cup. Anyways the place is alright but if I could I wouldn't want to deal with her. read more
