My body has seen a hugeeeee difference since I have began. I noticed since Iv been coming to barre, I have been super toned and so defined, I love it! Super obsessed with the workouts, every class Barre has to offer is great! It's the small movements for me. You would have never thought using small movements would activate muscles you didn't even know existed!! Iv been doing Barre for about 8 months now, I started in February and I will not be leaving anytime soon! I go at least 3 times a week! All the instructors are amazing, MaryLiz is my favorite! And I have to say, I have knee and back pain but Barre workouts do NOT impact any of the problems Ive had, if anything it's helping my knees and back!! Winter is almost here and it's time to get in, I promise you 2026 is gonna be a hot girl summa!! If you join now!!! My photo I posted, are the results I get from going 3 times a week and eating very clean!

I will admit I was a little unsure about the classes at first, simply because they work muscles you aren't familiar with in ways you've probably never worked them. A year late I feel stronger, healthier, more confident and LOVE every single class they offer! Cannot recommend this studio enough. Every teacher is incredible and pushes you to succeed. I'm thankful to finally find a workout that I love and that makes me confident in my body!!! Covid update: they offer SO many live streamed classes every day and a variety of classes. I'm not comfortable going in person and I've still been able to get my workouts in through a mix of live streams from all over the country and Facebook live videos from metro detroit.

Checking in was easy, and for my first time, it was so helpful to get a quick overview of the equipment and get full explanations and demos of the sets of exercises we were going to tackle. It was nice knowing what to expect ahead, and a good rotation through core, legs/glutes, obliques, and upper body. Lots of first or second timers and this class and I felt supported/guided. Instructor was walking around giving feedback, and asked ahead of time on permission for light touch corrections. It was a great pilates/strength training type workout! Adaptable to different experience and fitness levels. I'm definitely still sore two days out. I think most of the workout could be replicated at home with weights, bands, and sliders, but it's very fun to use the fancy reformer machine and be guided through / not have to plan or program a really effective workout.

I've taken ~60 or so solidcore classes at this point in three different states at 5 different…read morestudios, so I've been able to experience a lot of variation in the classes offered. Overall solidcore is my favorite workout I've ever tried and I'm totally a super fan for life. Unfortunately this wasn't my favorite studio. Pros: 1. Instructor was phenomenal (I took class with Jane S) - she offered a lot of versatility in the class, offered plenty of modifications and amplifications, and clearly knew what she was doing. Gave shoutouts to individuals within the class which I always really like. Probably one of the best solidcore instructors I've taken class with 2. The class itself is awesome as mentioned above. I'm just totally obsessed with solidcore - can't recommend it enough for someone looking for a challenging but high-energy full body strength class. Cons: 1. The reformers at this studio needed a major facelift. They were rusty, the rubber covering the strings was falling off, and I think they have smaller platforms than the standard sweatlana (although that may have been my imagination). I'm not sure if they were just really old or maybe purchased from another studio secondhand or something but they were soooo bad compared to the quality that I'm used to at solidcore 2. No lockers in this studio (just bins) which is obviously a risk for theft, etc. not the end of the world but I feel like having lockers is a pretty baseline request All in all, I don't live in Michigan full time so I likely won't be back anyway, but if I did live in the area I'd return as I just absolutely love the workout. Studio just needs some TLC

I joined when the gym first opened and I think that it was cleaner then. It still is clean and some of the workers work very hard and are always there. However, often times I will find that the bathrooms or showers are dirty. This was usually a problem when I used to go at night but I also noticed it in the morning once. I love that the steam room is very clean and that they close it to clean it. The pools are really clean too. I dislike that instead of opening the door sometimes the valet guys will just stand there talking with one another. I get it they're young but the least they could do is acknowledge you and attempt to open the door. Sometimes the front desk people say goodbye, other times they don't. Overall, the workers are really kind and the people here are really kind. I also don't like how crowded it gets around 5-7pm. I try to avoid that time. I wish they had made the gym multiple floors when they opened it. I feel as though they'll probably have to expand it in the future or open another one. The reason I love coming to this gym is because of the great classes they offer. The app is very helpful and shows classes throughout the day. Linda is an amazing yoga instructor. When I went to lifetime I'd pay for yoga and the gym separately because I didn't like their classes but here the instructors are all great. I also really like Erica. The cycling classes are great too. I had Alie and she made it really fun and the music was really good too!
