I did the Restore class as a ClassPass drop-in with Katie, and she is AMAZING! I forgot to bring a yoga mat, but thankfully they have mats for rental for only $3. Parking was difficult, but the studio itself is very large, clean, and a great locker room too. I REALLY enjoyed the restore flow - more focused on holding stretches than a strength based or quick flow. It's exactly what my body needed and I plan on going back for more! read more

Love this location! I lean towards the Restore classes and they are perfect for a great stretch and mindful class. read more

YogaSix - YogaSix - Yoga Near Me - Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Visited Milwaukee to visit our friends and because my husband and I are thinking about moving here. We wanted to check out the local spots and since I'm into yoga, checked out YogaSix. First of all, I had an incredible time. One of the best experiences I've had at a studio to be honest! The owner Michelle was so warm and friendly when I first walked in. She answered all my questions and I immediately felt at home. At that time, I also met Tony (the instructed for the sculpt class I decided to try out). Great interaction and he was kind to show me around! Secondly, the facility/yoga studio was clean, well-maintained, and easy to navigate. It has a nice layout with showers and lockers to keep your things safe during your class. And last, the class was fantastic! It was interactive, encouraging, and really pushed me to keep up (while having lots of fun doing it). Highly recommend taking a class by Tony! GREAT STUDIO! I will definitely be signing up if we move here. Thank you for the great session YogaSix! read more

Sweet front desk staff and welcoming environment. Really nice locker room and showers with all the things you need.

Love being apart of this community! Best classes & love seeing all the friendly faces at the front desk. YogaSix rocks my world

A year later, we've re-upped on our Annual Membership deal for YogaSix. We are continuing to enjoy our membership there, as well as all of the studio perks. We've branched out to some other classes, including Y6 Slow Flow and Y6 Sculpt & Flow. I feel with the return to YogaSix from Yoga Squad, the classes and variety have improved. The instructors continue to be excellent and engaging, making classes enjoyable. The studio has added more specialty one-off classes such as arm balance workshops, which is great to see. We continue to mostly take Hot Yoga classes, now referred to as "Y6 Hot", which some of the instructors have done a nice job of adding their own spin on. The sequence is still the same, but it is always awesome to switch it up a little! This is a good class for beginners and experienced yogis. Y6 Slow Flow is a great option for beginners or those looking for a little more stretch. The sequences change each class and with each instructor, which is nice. The Y6 Sculpt & Flow has been fun and challenging to try. It's definitely more of a cardio/fitness class than the other options, incorporating free weights and more challenging sequences. If you're looking for a class that will leave you sore for days, this is it! The Y6 Power is great as well - this is probably my favorite option, with a lot of variety and more of a vinyasa style. The only class we haven't tried is the Y6 Restore. I do still wish the weeknight schedule was a little more varied as the Y6 Hot can be a little repetitive, but we've tried to change up our schedule a little to attend more of the other class options. Regardless of your yoga style or if you're a beginner/experienced, you'll find something enjoyable at YogaSix. read more

I showed up for a 7:30pm class at 7:30pm on the dot after a long long week where exercise was MUCH needed and the door was locked and the front desk told me I wasn't allowed in. They said it's a newer policy. It was still 7:30. I got there at 7:30. The class i booked before this (again one i was able to squeeze in my schedule as they don't offer a ton of times) was cancelled a few hours before. The class before that the room was packed to the point that our mats were almost touching. When i signed up at this place I had a good impression but I've been disappointed lately. Looking at other studios. read more

Wish I could give YogaSix the *six* stars they deserve. I've been meaning to check out their studio for awhile and finally got a chance - happy I did! I'm generally an early workout person, but I ended up doing a mid-day hot yoga class with them at noon. Great to know they have a lot of class times to pick from, though. My first impression upon walking in was how sleek, clean, bright and open it is - very welcoming! As was the woman at the front desk. She greeted me, made sure I had what I needed (i.e. mat, towel, water) and then showed me around. They have two studios in use throughout the day with classes (both hot & regular temp) that range from stretching-based to more power strength. The class I joined was 60 minutes long and was very enjoyable! I really liked the instructor and flow of the session. I've done yoga quite a bit in the past, but I'd say the class could be for any level. She provided plenty of options in movements. The locker rooms (maybe not important to everyone) are very large and nice as well. I appreciate a space like that, as I tend to shower and get ready for work after my AM workouts. I'll be seeing you again soon, YogaSix! read more

YogaSix - Yoga Near Me - Milwaukee, Wisconsin

1 down and many more to go :). I decided to try yoga six and take a class. I walked in on Saturday and found out about their promotion they gave going on right now. For new students $20 for a full week of class, so I decided to sign up yesterday for deep stretch. I was told flow or deep stretch class is good for beginners so I decided to go that route. THANK YOU CASSANDRA... great class The class was at a good pace which was great, we had yoga props which was fun. I can't wait for my next class read more

Never judge a book by its cover. Here I am humbled and so grateful for class pass and it bringing me to yoga 6. Let me explain... I am picky when it comes to yoga and after moving back to Milwaukee from the Bay Area in 2019, I felt lost finding a studio that was a fit for me. Everything seemed pretty average and I went on a mission to find a studio for me. I tried practically every studios intro special and nothing felt aligned. I assumed yoga 6 was corporate yoga and wow was I wrong. I went to my first class on Saturday led by Libby and I was left speechless, in awe and I cried after class in my car. How many times in life have I missed out on an opportunity because I judged a place before ever walking through a door? I felt like a fool. I knew instantly when I walked in and how I was greeted by the staff that this was my new place. I could see the community they have built, amongst teachers and students. I never made it to the summer sessions at fiserv but I am looking forward to it. I signed up for a membership the after Libby's class. Yoga is my restoration practice and it allows for me to apply my life challenges to a movement based practice. There's something magical going on here and everyone at yoga 6 should be very proud. Thank you for being a beautiful place for me to come and recharge so I can spread my own light in our city and beyond. read more

There is a sense of comfort, calm, and community. I was able to make the restore class and found it restoring and peaceful.

This studio deserves more than 5 stars but we'll have to work with it. I transitioned from a different studio and I couldn't be more happy or grateful to be apart of a welcoming, adventurous, and funny community. They have classes for all levels and each Guide brings unique teachings, be it meditative or physical, to their classes. If you're new, try a Slow Flow or Hot class. If you want to challenge yourself, give Power a shot. Plus, management is always sharing new deals to make it affordable and worthwhile for those on the fence. After voluntarily struggling for an hour together, everyone is in a better mood and excited to chat and connect about things ranging from cats to food to Yoga to Life to Art and everything in between. This pandemic - luckily - brought many positive changes (but a not a positive result) into my life. Of those, becoming a Yogi at YogaSix was of the best decisions and outcomes to come from these novel times. I'd be hard pressed to find a more open, diverse, and friendly bunch than the people and Guides YogaSix Milwaukee has to offer. A dear friend once said his life philosophy is to try everything twice. So in the odd chance you don't enjoy/love your first class, connect with someone at the front, share a bit about yourself, and they'll be able to point you in a different direction. Yoga is more than a physical practice and this Temple is a fantastic reminder that what we do off the mat is as important as what we do on the mat. I have yet to meet someone who doesn't feel better, personally, physically, mentally, or emotionally, after twisting, turning, breathing, and sweating, while laughing and smiling for an hour at this gem of a Studio. Namaste, friends. read more

I've been going to Yoga Six for several months now, after getting hooked through a Groupon. I purchased the 2 months of unlimited yoga Groupon for a very reasonable price and decided to really take advantage of it. The space itself is really fresh, clean and inviting. They have everyone take off their shoes before heading upstairs to the lockers and studios, which keeps the studios themselves very nice. They have a number of different classes, many of which are heated, with varied times for each. During the week classes are spread out between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM. While weekend classes run from 8:30 AM to noon, usually. There are lots of different teachers to choose from, so you can really find the teaching style and class that will be a good fit for you. All of the regular teachers are well-versed and personable. I've asked several teachers to help with specific things before or after class, and they are always willing to give extra guidance. Most of the teachers are also very helpful with hands-on adjustments. But they will certainly honor your space as well if you prefer not to be touched. Also, music plays during every class; the teachers all play their own playlists, which go along well with whatever class you're attending. I highly recommend the monthly unlimited membership, as it is really easy to get your money's worth. But, if you know you're only going to go a few times a month, they have memberships for 4x a month and class cards. Also, if you are new to yoga six, they have $20 of unlimited for a week or you can do a Groupon (great option!) They will walk you through everything you need to know when you arrive for your first class. If you don't know which class to start with, they are also really good about answering the phone and taking questions. Though this studio is a chain in the States, it certainly feels local with the many things they do to bring the community together like monthly challenges and workshops. If you're looking to start somewhere, Yoga Six is a great spot. read more

Ooh I like it here! I have attended the Sculpt & Flow class, and it is a great workout! Different from other power yoga classes I've been to in the area. The class incorporated weights, which was a great change. The studio felt really clean, and they have lockers, as well as a great shower space. I don't come here super often since the studio is a bit far from my house, but I go as much as I can, and it's always great! read more

I am so excited to have a new yoga center in MKE. I have only attended one class so far and will update my review accordingly on the classes. I highly encourage you to take advantage of their new grand opening specials. Interior. If you look at their website you can see what the place looks like. modern, clean, very pleasing. The locker room is what has me so excited. I love hot yoga, I do not love leaving all sweaty and gross to get into my clean car. Yuck. Yoga six has super clean, private showers. Three in the ladies and two in the mens locker rooms. I can't wait to go to hot yoga this week! Their are two studios, one for hot and one for not hot. I attended a deep stretch today and really enjoyed it. I dragged out the husband and he was worried he would be the only male. Gentleman, do not worry, there were two other men in the class also. Price. With the grand opening special, I will be paying $100/month for unlimited premium use. Sure okay, BUT get this, I can bring a FREE guest with me at anytime. AND I get the use of a really nice mat+towel. Fantastic. I also can grab a FREE water every time. Not some small, complementary water, a full size smart-water. I feel like this is too good to be true. The husband and I were going to do some other special and it was the manager, Megan, who pointed out this would be the better deal if he just usually attends with me. Thank you! Parking. Parking on the east-side is always horrible. No upside to this. I can tell you I used to work at CSM down the block and they never look at the ER parking. Not encouraging this, but just letting you know if you are desperate, Whole Foods and CSM have parking. Buy some food at WF and park away, I say! Actually, I will bike because their is a Bublr bike station 1/2 block away. Even better suggestion IMHO. I will edit/update later with class details and suggestions/recommendations but just wanted you to know there are some great deals (1mo + 2weeks for $49). Also, I am not the type to get "dressed" for yoga. I just wore a t-shirt, and mens gym shorts today and I am pretty sure the husband wore swim trunks (he claims they are board shorts...or just shorts...that go in the water;). Yes, sloppy but I wanted to reassure you to just go even if you don't feel like you own proper/ stylish clothes for this. I was worried but felt relaxed and at ease once there! read more

I love Yoga Six! I went to Yoga Six for about a year before moving, and it is still my favorite yoga studio I've ever been to. The clean, simple interior, light colors and big windows make it feel very big and open. They have two studios which is nice that it allows for them to offer more classes at more times! The variety of classes and times of classes Yoga Six has is great. They have multiple classes in the morning and the evening, as well as throughout the day so you can get the kind of class you want regardless of your schedule. I liked having the option to go early in the morning before work/class or in the evening, depending on what I was feeling. They have Deep Stretch, Vinyasa, Flow, Power, and Hot Yoga classes as well as Boot Camp classes. Being a member of Yoga Six was all I needed to get any kind of workout in I would need. Whether I wanted an intense sweat workout or just to relax and flow, Yoga Six had a class that worked! The instructors are also so kind and welcoming. They make a great effort to introduce themselves to every student before class and ask if you have any injuries they need to know about. I really appreciate this aspect of the studio, it made me feel very comfortable going to any class, even though I was very new to yoga when I joined. The bathrooms/showers were always very clean and have complimentary toiletries (wipes, tampons, hair ties etc) and lockers for anyone to use. You can also rent a mat or towel if you don't have one/forget! The Yoga Six app also makes signing up for classes super easy and convenient. They have student discounts on memberships and offer discounted rates for new members' first week so you can guilt-free get a feel for the studio and what is has to offer! read more

My friend dragged me here for the introductory deal kicking and screaming. Here I am 2 months later, having signed up for an unlimited membership. I love my 3x/week yoga fix. Not only do I sleep better, but my body is less sore and more limber. My mental health has improved so much so that I crave my Friday Restore Yoga sesh. It resets my intentions for the week and helps me to focus on self-care when I am often feeling out-of-sorts. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff at YogaSix Milwaukee! read more

Absolutely love this studio! The staff is so kind and willing to help. The studio was clean and I felt so comfortable throughout my class. I absolutely love Y6. Yoga Six on Prospect is one of the best studios in MKE. Their lineup of teachers is top notch and the community is very welcoming. My biggest priority for a yoga studio is the teachers and the level of quality they bring, so Yoga Six gets very high marks from me for that aspect. Additionally though I really appreciate the variety and quantity of classes they offer. They've been a godsend during the unconstitutional and overreaching lockdown, now if we can just ditch the masks I'll really be happy. read more

I've been going to Yoga Six for just under a month now and have been loving it. For those who have already practiced yoga at Yoga Six, this review is no surprise...All "6'ers" will agree: this place is top notch! I've been to plenty of yoga studios around southeast Wisconsin, so I'm qualified to say....WOW! Totally friendly crew, with a great vibe. Lots of smiles around the 6. The instructors strive to help everyone fully enjoy their individual experience, both beginners and full-on yogis alike. The facility is always clean, and get this: they have showers in the changing areas....for reals! A great thing to have available after hot power yoga, fer sure! So check it out! I have been to many yoga studios around Milwaukee. Yoga six has the best variety of classes and times of classes. I work odd hours that change every week and sometimes have mornings free, sometimes afternoons and sometimes evenings. I always can find a class that works. I ended up at Yoga Six with a groupon for a month, and I'm hooked. I've been to about 6 hot yoga classes, various times/days, all with different instructors, and I enjoyed all of their classes. I do wish there was a more reliable pattern of instructors, but that hasn't stopped me from going. Everyone has been extremely friendly and down to earth (check your attitude at the door) and the facilities are beautiful. I love the tatami mats in the room and they are vigilant about after class clean-up. I am also pleasantly surprised by how many attendees have a widely varying level of experience. I was a little nervous being so out of practice, but I've found that the hot yoga class is an excellent choice for newbies. Many variations are offered, and you won't feel weird if you're not a seasoned yogi. I've seen some cool tricks by the people that are clearly dedicated, but you won't feel behind if you just work at your own pace or ability. It's the first yoga studio that I've been to where I haven't balked at the monthly membership because it's so worth it. They've also recently added more classes during peak hours. I think that's awesome but have not had a problem getting a class during those times. I'm hoping to try some of their other classes-boot camp seems to be really popular. Parking is surprisingly easy-peasy and if you are in a pinch, there is a city lot across the street and I think a garage around the corner. Use the Mind-Body App to schedule - it's super easy as well. I'm dragging as many friends here as possible to try the week free. read more

I truly wish I could give this place a better review. I am a younger yogi (16) who has been been practicing for almost 7 years. I dropped in to this class while traveling, and as a newcomer, I could not feel more unwelcome! The teacher was nice at the front desk, however the studio was not clean, the class was not at all hands on, and was full of elitist attitudes! If anything, this studio just made me miss my regular one much more! read more

I love Yoga Six! They are the first studio that I have been to that has a welcoming staff at all times who care about you and your goals! When I first walked in, I was asked how I was and what I was hoping to get out of my yoga practice, so that they can help me to achieve it through a consistent practice. How amazing is that?! The classes themselves are truly the best classes I have attended and experienced thanks to not only the instructors, but also the teaching methodology. Each class is focused on specifically what it is called and poses and postures are explained in simple, everyday terminology, so I am able to get the most out of each class. I had also never taken a heated class before, but it is really comfortable and beneficial, and I enjoy it more than I expected.
