If you're looking to begin your practice of yoga or you're looking to continue. Yoga time has been a wonderful experience for me and I'm grateful to have begun my practice her with Mindy and her fellow yogis and instructors over the past three years. I will offer this petition if you are reading this and you're thinking about trying yoga, please try. Begin with a gently or slow flow class there are many offerings here that will get you on your mat where you can do you. Before Yoga, and Yoga Time. I was carrying a lot of extra weight. Yoga helped me experiment with movement and breath and allowed me a space where I didn't feel judged. I say that because in my experience before yoga I have tried many fitness modes and diets. I had success with things like Crossfit and ketogenic diets and they do work. I would offer that if you do those things there is also room to explore and experiment with yoga. If you are in the area please try Yoga Time. Mindy and her instructors are really amazing people who offer you a safe space that can help you challenge yourself or help explore what works for you and your body. Please give this studio a try if you're in the area. And if you're not in the area sign-up for a few of the virtual classes if you can. read more

Good variety of classes and very friendly. Convenient location. Would highly recommend.

I started coming to YTS almost immediately after moving to Pville 5 years ago and feel like I've seen the studio come full circle in such a short span of time. From it's quaint location on 21st street to the beautiful, clean, modern space they occupy off of Main Street, it's been an absolute blessing having a yoga studio to call home in our town. When you walk into Yogatime, there's a sense of community - that we are all there for the same reason - whether it's to heal, give back to your body, or simply have some time to get some deep stretches in from the amazing instructors who are passionate about the practice of yoga. The studio offers a variety of classes at various times. They are incredibly flexible (no pun) with everything they've done - from new and different classes, teaching styles, and changing technologies, they have had to adapt to some crazy things, especially lately. Mindy, the owner, is incredibly personable and the way she has kept the studio going during COVID-19 is heroic! Thank you!!!! read more

Best little yoga studio in town! Mindy has a special gift. She can gift you the most rigorous workout or the most relaxing shavasana. Her classes are so good for my soul! I also really love Maribeth and David's classes. David's voice is so calming and I love the cool cloth in essential oils that Maribeth places on your forehead at the end of class. read more

1. I kinda loathe yoga. I'm too ADHD. Honestly. However, the class I did today has totally changed my perspective. I had fun! I laughed- I cursed- I stretched- and I loved every second. 2. Typically there is someone at the gym who is an asshole. Not here! Everyone was friendly, down to earth and not competitive. 3. Some of the yoga classes I have been to in the past STINK! Not this place. The class I went to was right after another class and it DID NOT smell like armpits and farts! 4. The instructor! Mindy was AWESOME! Down to earth. Hilarious. Non judgemental. Supportive. Annnnd challenged me. And she played great music. 5. Prices. Like $10/class for prepaid and a few more $ for drop In. 6. Not overcrowded. 7. Provide you with mats, blocks, towels, etc. For free. 8. Parking is easy. 9. Tons of classes to choose from. 10. They are even open on holidays. read more

Holy moly I haven't been to a hot yoga class in awhile and this Saturday morning's 9:30 class was just what a needed to detox after a weekend of heavy eating. I loved starting on my back to breathe and focus on why we were there. Then Mindy made us work. We were packed in and I was pleasantly surprised at how I still felt like I had my own space to work with the positions. It was refreshing to be in a room with such great yogis. My pores feel cleaned out and my skin feels great. I need to come visit Purcellville more often. This was my way of supporting Small Business Saturday! read more

Mindy led a very special wedding morning yoga session for my daughter, her now husband and wedding party. This was THE BEST idea ever! Mindy got us all calm and centered to start the day. She led us with humor and love. What a beautiful gift to set the tone for the day, and it continued...We were all very calm and just full of love and gratitude throughout the entire day. I just wish I lived closer so I could practice with Mindy regularly. Thank you sweet Mindy! read more

We had our 1st class today (my hubby and I). The instructor was very attentive to my hubby who has had several injuries so she helped him modify one on one. She was funny and really knowledgeable about yoga. We really enjoyed it. We plan on returning but making it a family thing. I felt like a million bucks when after the class. My hubby benefitted a lot too. Highly recommended. read more

Yoga Time is the best! The environment is warm and welcoming and the classes are great. I highly recommend this studio!

Yoga Time Studio has literally changed my life. First and foremost, YTS is an amazing yoga studio. Over the past 6 years, I have deepened my practice, improved my alignment, and begun to comprehend exactly why so many people call their constantly changing relationship with yoga a journey. Yoga has also opened me to a love of fitness and all that I can train my body and mind to do (I'm as surprised as anyone at my transformation from lifelong non-athlete to regular exerciser!). I now work out every day and go to YTS about 5 times a week. I feel more balanced, centered, strong, and motivated because of teachers like Mindy, Maribeth, Ari, and Alex. Second, the barre classes at YTS are great. After you recover from getting your butt kicked the first few times, you'll see why barre is an essential add-in to your workout repertoire maintain strength, balance, and flexibility for life. Last, YTS is an encouraging, fun, and welcoming community for beginners and advanced yogis alike. People really care about one another at this wonderful place. read more

The space is small but the instructors are great. Mindy will delivery a fantastic, full body workout leaving you feeling refreshed and ready to take on your day. The rates are pretty reasonable for the northern Virginia area. If you are looking for a practice that will make you sweat, check this place out! read more

I am new to yoga and this studio goes above and beyond to help me learn and feel comfortable. It's been a great find. I am now a regular and will continue to return. The instructors are all very attentive and knowledgeable. They do a great job of understanding the many different levels of students in each class and are somehow able to cater to all levels. The energy in the room is spectacular. Whether you are going to stretch it out and relax or to get a great work out there is a class for you. I have gone from having no real knowledge of yoga to being a lover of yoga. The owner Mindy is warm and welcoming and is very helpful making sure you get into the appropriate class for your condition and goals. She is also an incredible instructor. I could not be happier that I found Yoga Time Studios on Purcellville.. read more
