Owner and amazing person, Autumn Amoroso, is the best guru with whom I've ever practiced. She was…read moreone of the instructors at Yoga Flow who I followed religiously. She left almost two years ago to start her own practice. Her style is perfect for every age and every body. She knows how to work you hard, but knows when to cool it down as well. Breath, specifically, ujjayi, helps one to focus. Autumn and her equally amazing team (Corina and Melissa are the ones I know best), offer a variety of classes at all levels. Each teacher has or is developing their own style and each one I've experienced has been wonderful, bringing their own techniques. "Flow" is a very warm, 90 degree, yoga. Not quite hot, but a nice heat helps with movements and building up a sweat. "Chill" is along the same lines as flow, but in a cooler room with slightly modified poses. Friday night is a basics class with a $5 fee. On Sunday night, Zen (Yin) stretchy, yoga is offered, which is a perfect way to end a weekend and get a good night's sleep in preparation for the week ahead. Yoga in the parks are regular occurrences, too. Breathe Yoga offers prenatal, children's and meditation classes as well. Something for everyone. The studio just reopened now that we're in the green phase - thank heavens (with all due precautions). However, with some YouTube class experiences now behind them, Autumn offers in studio as well as live-streamed classes. Rates are competitive and there are plenty of packages from which to choose. Lastly, I think it's important to mention in light of recent events that Yoga Flow is not only a woman-owned, but a black woman owned studio. I'm so proud to support this outstanding business and person. If you've had yoga classes that left you feeling stressed out due to competition or speed, or disappointed that it didn't give you what you felt you needed, give Breath Yoga a chance. You won't be sorry. Look for me throughout the week - I try never to miss every Saturday at 9 and 10:30!

The community here is like no other - kind, warm, passionate, and connected. Autumn has created something beautiful for ANYONE seeking yoga, beginner or advanced. I never feel judged or not good enough in her studio. I feel like I truly belong for the first time in my life.

I have visited the Murrysville Center for Massage Therapy many times over the past several years…read more They moved to this location maybe in 2005/2006 or so, and I probably started visiting them right about that time. When I lived in the area I used to be a bit more of a frequent client, however since moving out of state, I usually only am now able to visit at the holidays and maybe in the summer. This is a great place for a massage. Within here, I tend to bounce around to different masseuses, and have been very satisfied with them all. They have been friendly, professional, and listened and then focused on the areas of my concern. I tend to like a lot of pressure during massages and have found that they are more than able to provide that for the duration of my appointment. The rooms are comfortable and relaxing with soft music or nature sounds playing in the background (like most places might have). I always head out of the room lighter and am greeted in the reception area with a glass of water by my masseuse providing me with 'after care' instructions like drinking fluids and resting, and once even some additional self-massage tips when I had a chronic back issue. Prices run pretty average for massages here. This is truly a studio focused on healing and wellness, and I am always happy to visit when back in town. As a fun note, they usually offer a small (but welcome) discount on gift certificates purchased in December which makes for a great holiday gift!

Great place! I've only ever had two massages there, but they've been the absolute best by far. I…read morealways ask for John, and have him focus on a deep tissue massage. He works on the areas I request, and spends extra time on areas he feels I need. The atmosphere in the massage room is perfect. The music can become a bit annoying at times, but, otherwise, it's tranquil, with the perfect amount of lighting. As for the massage price, seriously can't be beat. I was charged $65 for a 1 hour full body massage today. Did they charge me wrong, or something? Typically, you're looking at $75 to $100 for a deep tissue, hour-long massage. And, when I've paid that in the past, the quality has been no where near what I get from John. Again, he does deep tissue with me, but I'm sure there are a ton of different people on staff, with different tecniques and specialties you can request. I would, and will, suggest this to. Any of my friends looking for some relax and unwind time.
