Beware!! If I could leave 0 stars I would. I have lived in my unit for 17 years with the previous owner. Upon the sale of the complex Yoder Mgt became the new property managers. Jason, the owner, calls me and harasses me, he threatens to evict me because I cannot pay my rent on-line. I have never, ever paid my rent late and by law, and by my lease agreement, am allowed to pay my rent by personal check. This makes him very angry and becomes abusive on the phone. Came to Yoder property management for the first time this morning. First thing I noticed pulling up was how nice the actual property (office) was. Beautifully maintained lawn, and landscaping, as well as structurally easy on the eyes. I was greeted by Jason, who turned out to be the owner. He was extremely friendly and attentive to everyone that was waiting to see him. I never felt rushed while speaking to him even though he was very busy. I came to Yoder needing his assistance on a commercial property issue, I work with Comcast Business and we are trying to light up a building with our Coax and Fiber, but after my visit today, I actually am now considering using Yoder to manage one of homes if I decide to rent it as I have been considering. It's a shame it's not possible to give a negative amount of stars and still write a review. Yoder managed my elderly parents rental in Salida. I recently hired a real estate agent to sell the home. The agent Tim Spencer ( outstanding) handled the sale. His assistant called Jason Yoder and asked for help in getting access to the property. Jason immediately went off on her like a match. She emailed me to tell me, and I apologized to her for being on the receiving end of Jason's outburst. She was not fazed, and even told me that she thought it was funny that he reacted so harshly, after she calmly made a simple request. After getting access to the house, I understand Jason's reluctance. Unfortunately, he neglected to keep up with the house and just cashed the checks. Here is a partial inspection list of damage to the property: entry: hole in walls as well as dents living room : cracks in walls and ceilings, patched holes in walls kitchen: cabinets damaged, dishwasher, stove, disposal not working hall: damaged carpeting, missing washer and dryer doors, holes in walls bedrooms: closet doors missing, holes in walls, stains, floor damage garage: broken windows, holes, stains and cracks screens and gutters damaged throughout the house My parents lost money on their house due to the neglect of Jason and his team. I actually tried to speak to him about it and he got angry and offered excuse after excuse. read more

At the risk of being harsh - one star is quite generous. This company has been one of the worst experiences I have ever been through. It would take too long to elucidate all of my frustrations but here are a few: I rented out my house and they offended the renters and inconvenienced them to the point where they almost backed out of the deal. I used their recommended service personnel and I had to badger them to show up and when they finally "finished" the job it was very substandard. I let the Yoders know of this fact and they had already paid him out of my rent return and basically told me "too bad". They also had some unauthorized work performed and when I called them on it they promised to reimburse me but never did this, all the while speaking to me as if I were an idiot and slamming the phone down in my ear. To say that I am glad the contract is over would be an understatement. I am livid with the poor service and the disrespect these gentlemen have shown me and my renters. They use a lot of rhetoric in their communication to hide the fact that they do not really know what they are doing and that they do not value their customers satisfaction. Lesson learned. This is the reason I never use a company unless they are recommended by someone I know and trust. If you are smart you will avoid this company unless you want to be treated in a condescending, dishonest way, especially by the younger lad who probably did not go to Stanford like I did. read more

My advice would be to stay FAR away from this place! Jason is awful, very unwilling to work with you. When I went in to inquire about a home he had listed, he made a TON of very rude remarks to me and basically degraded me. He is very aggressive when speaking. I had an overall terrible experience dealing with him. I really liked the house that he had listed but I have to much respect for myself to stoop that low. Yoder is professional Do not know why there are so many bad reviews. My Wife and I got a 1br 1bth. And everytime there was a problem Jason was on it with the maintenance. Also he honestly looks for the right tenant for the rentals. This is great, example is when we were interested in an apartment there was a application turned in before us, but because our credit was good and high we were referred for the apartment. We have been renting from Yoder for over a year now. Everything has been wonderful! I was shocked to see all of these bad reviews, very shocked. We have never had any problems with them. Every time we have any issues with the house they're very quick to respond and get everything figured out in a timely manner. Jason is always very nice when I take the rent in. I have rented a home with my boyfriend threw Yoder, They were all nice when I was handing them 2,000 dollors to move in, well after we moved in there toned changed, I have recevied numerous rude phone calls from both men at the business and them cussing at my boyfriend and being verry rude to my father who moved in with us after the loss of his mother.( after they had said it was fine to sublet to someone, then telling me other wise.) They call me about ever 2-4 weeks telling me I have to move out with in a day. While the owner says we are fine and to stay that they will handle it. Yoder has been nothing but problems since i have moved in here calling me being rude and pretty much they dont care that its my problem! and slaming the phone down not even bothering saying good bye or trying to work things out to there benifit. I have to always worry if they are going to call and think god what now. or if they come out they charge me 40 bucks to come out here stating they cant reach me. I will never recomend this place to anyone they are worthless and have no clue what customer satisfaction is, and they have no consideration or respect for anyone. They talk to me and my family like we are idiots, when truly it just makes them look stupid and imcompetent of runing a REAL business. NEVER GO THREW THESE MEN! They make rediculaus hours so that they can profit from your work schedual to top everything off... They are only open from 10-4 M-F Who does that?... One star is more then what these people deserve.
