Yummy blueberry matcha, and super cute trinkets to look at while youre waiting for your drink! They also have a lot of fun drinks in the cooler if youre feeling adventurous
If you're wandering through little Tokyo and love discovering fun and thoughtfully curated goods, this place is a must visit. Yoboseyo Superette is basically a one stop shop for Asian snacks, cute stationary items, and unique gifts that are hard to leave without buying something. There's so much to browse and guaranteed you'll find some fun little finds that make great souvenirs/gifts. They also serve drinks which was a nice surprise. We ordered the Ube espresso latte and the OG berry passion tea, and both were solid. Prices felt reasonable across the board and the overall vibe is charming and inviting. Definitely a place I'd pop into again.
Good coffee, friendly employees. Cool little "nook" to relax decent prices for drinks, stumbled on this place while doing a sega sonic stamp card. Sister got an electric lemonade. She liked it a lot.
Started my Saturday morning in Little Tokyo at Yoboseyo Superette! The photos only yelp drew me in, especially seeing the drink containers :) Overall a solid spot. Friendly and welcoming staff, and the cafe has a warm cozy vibe to it. Some of the treats they sell at the counter looked appealing and they also sell a lot of random goods. I got the impression some of it was by local vendors? I didn't really understand what was behind the cafe as you could go up stairs. At first I thought it was to find seating but I think it's something unrelated to Yoboseyo. I did like my ube latte but it was just okay. The ube flavor had that chemical aftertaste and there wasn't something like coconut to help balance it.
Yoboseyo's iced ube latte in Japantown is such a treat. The espresso is bold and flavorful, pairing perfectly with the smooth, subtly sweet ube, nothing overpowering, just really well balanced. You can tell the drink is thoughtfully made, not just pretty. And speaking of pretty, the container is absolutely adorable, which makes the whole experience even better. It's one of those drinks that tastes as good as it looks. If you're in Japantown and want something fun but still high quality, this iced ube latte is a must-try
This was so cute and delicious! The service is so cute and literally iconic. The baristas are so chatty and give their recommendations to newbies like me. And! They come in these cute cups. These are super cheap for the quality and taste. This is now my go to spot in Little Tokyo to walk around strut as I walk and shop. I love that they feature small businesses and local vendors. From greenery & books, to things for our furry babies on the go! It's a must stop shop. I recommend the Honey Oat Milk Latte!
Yoboseyo is a cute place that doesn't just have good coffee, it also has good pastries, kitchen items, snacks, chocolate, healthy lunch boxes, cooking books, soap , stickers, greeting cards, dried flower bouquets & more. I sometimes get a cappuccino and I've tried the blue lemonade. The cold brew & lemonade comes in a cool can like container. It is a long clear can (plastic) with their cute logo. This place is mainly a grab & go place. There is another floor for a Ju jitsu flight club and they do their coffee roasting. And sometimes there are small events like a market. Employees are friendly. Fast service. There are milk alternatives. I don't drink milk because I'm lactose intolerant. I always get Oatmilk. Street parking, city parking lot & Joe's parking lot near by.

The workers here have always been so sweet and kind! I have always always always gotten the blueberry matcha especially before other shops started making blueberry matcha's! First of all, I love the packaging and the flavors are just so yum! It's a perfect balance of blueberry sweetness to rich matcha. I honestly haven't tried any other drink yet but this place is definitely worth a try!
Tucked away at the USC village is the cutest boba shop with an artisan boutique feel of many hand crafted and unique items. There was so much to look at inside. They also have a market type vibe with many grocery type items to stock up on. The ube taro was very creamy, wish it was stronger ube a flavor. But classic coconut-y like flavor. Boba was good. They had some seating inside but plenty of outdoor seating in the village. Plus 2 hour free parking downstairs. Even though there was a line inside they were quick. There was one guy on the register but working two registers at once. I'll probably come again.
Yeoboseyo (여보세요) is such a unique place in little Tokyo! Definitely a hidden gem with either street parking or structure parking. I personally park within the structure for $15 flat rate but you can park for cheaper either on the street or in other lots! My favorites here have to be their packaging and unique items. The interior is beautiful and you can spend a good amount of time going through all their items. We ordered the blueberry matcha and regular matcha! I enjoyed their regular matcha over their blueberry personally. If you prefer sweeter tastes, the regular matcha over the premium is suggested! I personally enjoy my matcha sweet so the regular matcha was a solid choice. If I am ever in the area, I'd definitely come back to visit this cute store!

From growing up in the 626, I know that "Yoboseyo" is a common Korean greeting on the phone. Coming into this small boutique store/cafe, I felt that it was, indeed, welcoming and I liked that they featured tasty Asian pantry items and cool knick-knacks from Asian-owned small businesses in LA/OC. They have some nice local flavor as they carried a nice selection of chili oils, sauces, Asian ice creams and boutique soaps/candles. I've purchased some of these items elsewhere (ONDO Soap, Roberto Hot Sauce, BOON chili oil), and I feel that this store has curated some high-quality goods that have high usefulness. If you're looking for some nice, useful gifts for a friend (or for yourself), then this is an interesting place to check out. From this visit, my wife got a refreshing tea here; however, I enjoyed perusing all of the things that they were selling on their shelves. I feel that this is a hidden gem that's worth checking out as you're walking around Little Tokyo. If you're having trouble finding it, it's pretty close to Book Off and Shoe Palace.
Business had a variety of merchandise which were food and non food. Menu had beverages. Borahae lemonade which was made with butterfly pea in a special container with BTS sticker. Drink was refreshing on a hot day. My friend bought a matcha. Bae needs hosted a K-pop event upstairs. There were different vendors who sold BTS related merchandise. We bought 2 mouse pad of Jimin and Jungkook. A photo opportunity was Arirang balloons and photo of BTS members. read more

Tucked away at the USC village is the cutest boba shop with an artisan boutique feel of many hand crafted and unique items. There was so much to look at inside. Yoboseyo Superette is a speciality marketplace that is like a bodega, gift shop, and cafe all in one! This spot is located in Little Tokyo where there is a nearby paid parking garage or street parking all around the area. Inside, they have a nice open space filled with tons of curated AAPI products. You can order a drink, get a pastry, a book, a candle, something for your dog, or tons of other stuff here. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. I always like to stop by and see the new stuff they have and to grab a drink before I walk around the area. I always love wandering Little Tokyo for their variety of knick knack stores. Yoboseyo Superette is the latest addition, specializing in AAPI-owned goods and produce. I loved browsing everything from ice cream to pet supplies. They even have a cute ceramic section. Everything is thoughtfully curated and pleasant to learn more about. We tried the cappuccino and blueberry matcha. The only milk available is oat milk! If you want different milk with the same menu - you can go to the sister shop (Dulce). The menu is very simple and straightforward. The blueberry matcha tasted pretty sweet, and came in a very adorable cup with a can. The cappuccino came out in a paper cup, sustainable! The cappuccino didn't have pretty foam designs or look fancy, it was very standard. The goods are so homemade and well curated. Beautiful pottery pieces, cookbooks, and candles! read more
Walked in here on a whim while walking around little Tokyo and so glad I did. Super cute little store with Japanese treats and other Knick Knacks. They also sell teas and coffee. I ordered the ube latte and was not disappointed. It was absolutely delicious and would have ordered a second one if I could handle that much coffee. Service was excellent as well. read more

Yoboseyo is your one stop shop for all your snack/meal needs! I love strolling through this little shop when I'm in little Tokyo. Shopping here feels like a love letter to local businesses in the area since they stock up on so many popular items that I would have to otherwise special order. The drinks here are a real treat. This location is the original yoboseyo superette and they do not offer all the drinks that are available at the USC location but the drinks they do have are delicious! The matcha latte (8/10) is served in a see through soda can. It's creamy, sweet and is a vibrant dark green color. I am very picky with my matcha and I gotta say, it is solid here. read more

Staff is so welcoming and nice! They remember your order and call your drink which is nice because no confusion amongst customers occurs. The blueberry Matcha is addictive and light on the stomach, not too overbearing in blueberry flavor. read more

I was super excited to stumble upon the store. It is really cute and has a lot of super fun items from dog and pet accessories to my favorite soup dumplings, to a variety of chili oils, a whole selection of cook books, to greeting cards and stickers! What an absolute hidden treasure of a coffee shop. We were walking around Little Tokyo, and this one hadn't even shown up on our radar until a friend said it's her favorite place for coffee in the area. Super cute little boutique-esque shop that also has a little coffee shop. Their menu is smaller, but the drinks were so delicious. Their blueberry matcha was my favorite - hit all the flavors perfectly and was such a good combination. Their yuzu sparkling tonic was unique and really emphasized its sourness - great for any yuzu lover. Would definitely stop by for coffee again next time we're in the area. read more

Loved this place! The matcha is definitely higher grade here and the prices were average. It is definitely worth the price compared to other cafes especially with the neat and sturdy bottle/can! I didn't try any of the pastries but I bought some of the really cool ice cream fruits. It's a really cool cafe with neat stuff you can buy. The only bad thing about this place is that since it is in downtown the parking could get difficult and you also have to pay so it would be good to bring quarters just in case. read more

Found a lovely little coffee bar in Little Tokyo. Got the Yuzu Sparkling Tonic, which was a great twist to a classic espresso tonic. Mix your drink well as the yuzu has a tendency to rise to the top. So unless you want to get blasted with a strong, sour taste, give it a good mix. However, once mixed, it's amazing. Not sure about the seating arrangement here but found a small little bar counter overlooking the shop below. Otherwise, it seems like a grab-and-go place. Great stop for a quick coffee. read more
the matcha latte is sweet! still keeping the earthy taste and knowing it's oatmilk by default made my heart and tummy happy :) blueberry matcha had a more blueberry-compote/fresh blueberry taste to the already great matcha latte. I'm not one to sip on drinks, unless it's as good as this was. they also have cute decor and cafe-related kitchen items inside. they press the metal lid into the hard plastic cups for a cool look. first time coming here and just to say i will be coming here everytime im in little tokyo. The girl who made my matcha was so sweet and had a very inviting energy and the matcha itself was about phenomenal and IM SUPER PICKY with my matcha too. definitely recommend coming here! :) read more

Yoboseyo is such an adorable store!! The decor elevates the vibe of the products. When I visited, they had a pop up of small business vendors in the back which was a nice addition. As for the drinks, I was expecting a lot more. I got the blueberry matcha and, frankly, I didn't taste much blueberry. This coffee shop was hosting a small business vendor space too in the back half of this store. There are some stairs leading to the back where a handful of artists offered their own interesting art styles. There's a lot of good thought out gifts with Asian American inspiration behind this. Service was generally very friendly here and the ambiance is very calming and relaxed. read more
