Kawaii~~~ A Miniatures & Collectibles Haven in Little Tokyo! If you love imported Japanese goods, this store in Little Tokyo is an absolute dream to explore. They have a massive selection of merchandise, figurines, & blind boxes straight from Japan, along with plenty of Pokémon and Disney items. It looks like they've shifted away from selling skincare recently to focus almost entirely on collectibles and miniatures & the variety now is incredible. There is so much to look at! As a longtime collector of miniatures myself (who recently had to put a freeze on buying because my collection ran out of room!), I can say their inventory is top-tier and extremely well-stocked. My only critique is that the prices are definitely on the higher side, but given the selection and location, it's understandable. The staff is super friendly and helpful, making the overall experience great. Definitely a fun, must-visit spot to wander through while you're in Little Tokyo~~~~ read more

We visited Neko Stop on a Saturday afternoon looking for a specific blind box our child is looking for. There was a line and a long wait to get inside Neko Stop. We were a party of 5 and waited about 15 minutes to get in. The young lady at the door was very sweet and apologized for the wait and long line. She informed us they can only allow specified number of people due to safety. It's a very small shop and everything is in close range. Neko Stop sells a variety of blind boxes and different series with different characters. Plenty to choose from. We did notice many of them are sold out. Customer service at Neko Stop is great. They have sales associate coming around asking if you need help and if there's a specific item you're looking for. Our child found the blind box series our child was looking for. We picked that up along with some stationary set and stickers. There are 2 check out counters and cashiers. The wait for payment wasn't too long, about 5 minutes. I was asked if I wanted a shopping bag by the cashier and I said yes because of all the merchandise we purchased for our child. Just be aware Neko Stop charges for a shopping bag doesn't matter how much you've spent. read more

Another cute place to check out in little Tokyo! We visited Neko Stop The day after curfew is lifted and I'm so glad to see that people were there and shopping. Our last visit to Little Tokyo we weren't able to stop in here. I'm so glad we came this time! My teenager found so many cool items they left with a giant bag of things! They had lots of Japanese Kawaii collectibles and characters. My teen is currently into Hatsune Miku, Chiikawa and friends, Cinnamoroll, and anything Kawaii. This shop filled their shopping desired includin Chiikawa trading cards, lots of affordable Sanrio merch, and fun stationary. The people working were very sweet and rang us up quite quickly. They also gave us recommendations for a couple other shops nearby so my teen could scratch their Hatsune Miku itch :-) definitely recommend and will be back read more

Staff is friendly and they accept Apple Pay! On weekends, there can be a line out the door! Luckily, I came during dinner time so it wasn't too crazy. I got a few blind boxes and went home satisfied. I'm a regular visitor to Little Tokyo and usually love exploring the stores, but this time it was packed! I'm used to stores keeping the crowds manageable and limiting the amount of people coming in, but this time the store was crowded with people, I could barely see any of the cool stuff because of the crowds. Definitely not the shopping experience I was hoping for. Not to be deterred, I came back later, determined to get a couple of specific blind boxes I had my eye on -- but surprise! They closed about 15 minutes earlier than the posted hours. And to add insult to injury, the staff just ignored us standing outside, trying to get their attention! It felt like they were trying to sneak out early without dealing with any last-minute customers. Despite the crowd and early exit, the store seemed to have a great selection. That said, I was able to grab a blind box a little earlier, and was pleasantly surprised by the price--it was actually pretty fair compared to other, more popular brands. Stop by Neko Stop for your blind bag/box and kawaii fix! I went on New Year's Day, and they had kawaii, anime, and Sanrio fukubukuro (lucky bags). The prices for the lucky bags ranged from $39.99-$59.99. I regret not getting one! If you don't have the opportunity to shop in-person, Neko Stop does have an online shop where you can order lucky bags and other merchandise. In terms of character and anime merchandise, some series that I saw were Sanrio, Detective Conan, Disney, Pokémon, Kirby, Demon Slayer, and One Piece. If you want to complete the full set of a blind box series, I did see signs for a 10% discount. read more

Once again, absolutely love this shop and actually much prefer this location! My bf and I had no idea about this one so I wonder how long ago they opened. We first went to the one in the Santa Anita mall and have since been driving out to that one. We just so happen to be walking through the village and it caught my eye since the line was out the door! We were looking for food when this caught our eye but the line was so long, we passed for now. We ended up turning around because we found a food spot on Yelp that we wanted to try and had to pass by this store again with no line in sight so we decided to hop in line. It was just us two and they were at capacity so the young lady working told us to wait a bit till two more leave. Didn't wait very long so she explained the 20 min max shopping time and to not squeeze any of their blind boxes. We walked in and surprisingly ended up only buying 2 Pokémon finger puppets. Usually we buy a bunch of Pokémon re-ment but didn't see anything new so we ended up passing for now. But definitely love the open space of this one, much bigger location and the decor and lighting was very nice. They don't do the buy 2, get 1 gacha coin for their machine at this location tho!
