Horrible, cheap quality food! I came here with co-workers for lunch and was so disappointed. I had been here pre-COVID and it was not that bad. Any meat upgrade, like salmon or other is an additional $5.00!!! The roll prices are outrageous. Anyhow we dined in and we got our food in styrofoam to go containers. I opened my box and could immediately tell the quality of the chicken was poor. I ate 2 of the 4 pieces of sushi out of fear of getting sick and I didn't touch the 4 pieces of California rolls crammed in a corner of a box filled with stale white rice. I threw most of the food away and left hungry. The owner of the restaurant is very nice but seemed shocked and upset when my friend asked for more tempura sauce. Do not waste your money here. Can't speak for the ambiance since I didn't dine-in but the food was prepared quickly and on time. Pork cutlet and curry (3/5) - Satisfied my cravings but the pork cutlet was very small. Golden tiger roll (1/5) - Was excited to eat this because I love tempura and crunchy rolls, but this was just awful. Both the inside and outside are fried, so the entire roll was oily. The rice ended up soaking up the oil too so I couldn't even salvage the roll by picking off the fried part. Baked salmon roll (3/5) - Definitely the better roll out of the two I ordered. There's so much stuff everywhere that there's most likely covering rat droppings because there's no way to clean it all. I came here to leave a review because their terrible service forced me to, but I'm glad I'm not the only one. We gave this place a chance on postmates for their bogo deals, but it was no deal. A free miso soup that should've been free bumped our $28 order to $40. We were being overcharged, so I called to assess the issue immediately, and Heidi, who was extremely rude to my girlfriend, would only repeat our balance was due to the miso soup as a matter of fact yet went quiet when we asked for help. (We double-checked our balance and confirmed it does not change whether or not we add the miso soup). This was a Yo! Sushi problem, not a Postmates problem for once. We agreed we were fine without the soup since we ordered plenty of food. Heidi, though, refused to cancel the miso soup and go over our order but was proud to keep yelling back her name at us when we asked. Heidi shouldn't be picking up calls and handling customer concerns. I should've known after seeing so many fake reviews here on Yelp that we truly are never going back. Since I have been forced to stay away from carbs I decided to try the out of the way sushi restaurant. A subway sandwich was not calling me. I ordered and when I picked up my food I had the opportunity to meet Johhny, the owner. The food was of the same quality that I have had at many much more expensive restaurants. Very good. We split the rolls due to the size of them and that my girlfriend has a small stomach when it comes to sushi. We ordered the Albacore Delight Roll & the Tiger Roll that came with a free soda all for ($17.95). The rolls were MASSIVE and great portion size! The quality of the sushi was delicious! The plating of the sushi on the wooden boats were also quite elegant because it felt like you were ballin out getting sushi boats for individualized orders. Your basic sushi spot. Look no further if you need some crunch rolls. They don't have much variety here but they do have a cool yelp check in discount. It's in a small shopping center and you can miss the entrance really quick if you're not paying attention. The waitress was nice and this place is super small. Possibly has 5 tables at the most. They bring the rolls out on a cute chopping board and it's nicely presented. They don't have hand rolls on the menu which really sucks. I'm more of a fan of hand rolls than regular rolls. Their cleanliness isn't up to par to be honest or it could be that they have way too many things hung up on the wall which makes me cringe. The crunch roll was good and i enjoyed their spicy mayo. You even have your own little tv when you sit in the booths. They give you some privacy from the booth next to you too. THE PRICE; Not bad at all! So I went back inside and ordered the bowl, after looking at the menu I decided for the Bento instead. This place is okay. The staff is friendly, there's hardly ever any people so you typically get your food quickly, and prices are average. I don't recommend the fried rice. It was mostly vegetables with the same chicken they use in their teriyaki bowls and a bit of white rice mixed in and gently stir fried. The sushi is decent, not great, but decent. The gyoza is good. Bento boxes are okay. I had one with salmon once but the salmon was a bit overcooked for my taste. Overall, I wouldn't say their food is great but if you're looking to get rid of that sushi craving without having to wait a whole lot, then this place will do the trick. It's probably one of the best ones I've ever had. We ordered the 3 rolls combo with 2 drinks and tried the Mexican roll, crunch cali roll and the tempura scallop roll. All three were amazing but I will have to say the sauce on the cali crunch roll was A1 so that one was my favorite. I will say if you get the 3 roll special you can definitely share with someone else as each roll is quite filling! My only concern was their cups. My friend and I ordered water and they came in small reusable cups. As soon as I tried the water I immediately had an aftertaste of soap from the cup mixed with leftover food or something.
