That immediately felt wrong to me. When I questioned it, his tone gave me the impression that he was upset I had not accepted his original offer earlier, and that he increased the price because he assumed I did not find a better deal elsewhere. I was very bothered by that and decided not to give him my business. About a month later, I still had not gotten the work done, so I decided to try again and went back to the shop. This time, his attitude was even worse. He literally looked at me and said something along the lines of, "Oh, I thought you were going to take it somewhere cheaper," in a sarcastic tone. Of course, he has the right as a business owner to refuse service, but I think people should know the kind of experience I had here. What bothered me most was the lack of professionalism and the way the pricing was handled. I do not think it is good business practice to give someone a price and then change it shortly after for no legitimate reason. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop. The passenger side was fine, freezing cold as it should be. After they looked at the car, they told me it was the AC condenser unit and it would cost $1,500. I KNEW THEY WERE LYING. THEY THINK WE/YOU ARE DUMB. First, this car only has 50,000 miles on it and Infiniti's don't break like that. Most importantly, if the AC condenser unit was shot, ALL OF THE AIR COMING FROM THAT UNIT WOULD BE WARM AND THAT WARM AIR WOULD BE SENT THROUGH THE ENTIRE CAR - NOT JUST ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE. I took it to another shop, they hooked the car up to their computer and recalibrated the temperature gauge system. $125! The AC is perfect. I have the estimate from Rodriguez that shows they wanted to replace the AC unit with the cost and I have the work order from the other place which shows the work that was done. BE WARNED!

Victor asked me to drop off the car on Monday 12/07 and the next morning I got the first updates, they sent me a link with a bunch of photos and notes of what they did to that point. Another part was needed so this may have delayed the process by a day, so yesterday 12/10 I got a call from Victor saying that the car was going to be ready before the end of the day, around 2pm I got a text and a phone call from Yani saying that the car was ready. I checked the link and it was a new photo showing the car completed. When I arrived to pick up and pay I got a total of $1475 (which was shown in the last update received) but I had an estimate of $1030, I understand when you are working with insurance you send them a "preliminary work" and then you can add a few or several "supplemental" and the insurance usually pays them, but this money was coming out of my pocket, so I was definitely expecting the $1,030 figure or a little less... all in all Victor explained to me the extra work done and reduced a bit the final number. Conclusion: I'm a hard person to please type of guy, I believe they did a really good job, the 3 days to finish the work is appropriate and the way they kept me informed with calls and photos is top notch!
