Dropped by during my Calgary trip…read more Was a nice walk from downtown and I was boiled from the heat - so the AC here saved me lol. Place was clean and welcoming - old school diner vibes in my opinion. Waitress was super friendly - offered ice water right away as she noticed I was sweating my life away. I wasn't overly hungry, so just tried out some happy hour snacks - the salty peppery chicken was just right - nice crisp and flavour - Lemon pepper wings were a bit to lemony for me - however overall was still quite nice. The lost star went to the drink - Brown sugar oat, already anticipated this to be sweet - so I already went 50% - however even then, wayy too sweet. there was bits where it tasted like there was crystalized sugar in your mouth. I'd visit again to explore the menu if I find myself in Calgary again.

We got a kiwi/avocado and a taro, both of which were delicious. Tasted very fresh and the taro root tasted earthy and more like true taro root (I would imagine) than other boba places I have been to. They also have daily lunch specials (most of those are meat-containing and we usually eat vegetarian) but the value for those looks good. Small shop wedged into a corner on the street with several other boba places in the immediate area - don't miss out! Would definitely come back here if in the area again.

I can tell he is very "meticulous" and it shows in the taste, texture, and experience of the Bobas inside the drink itself. Sure, the drinks should be tasty but if the Boba is off even a little, it takes a lot away from the experience. My 2nd time was off when he was absent. If you are very meticulous in the Bobas by themselves, you got to try this neat place, but try to coincide w/ the slim owner working. Cheers to a wonderful Boba Tea Shop!!!!

The interior is also really cute, decorated with cute little knickknacks and trinkets. Would definitely recommend if you're craving boba.

The decor is very quaint and cute! I had the champagne peach green tea with pearls, 1/2 sweet. Our other friends got the same drink but full sweetness - I tried both and didn't taste any difference? It was pretty good, kind of like a peach green tea with less sweetness (but not in a bad way). We also ordered the Taiwanese chicken nuggets ($10). I feel as though the portion could've been a bit bigger for the price, but they were really good! They have 3 big tables or so, but otherwise not much seating. Would come back if I was in the area!

The location itself doesn't have a ton of accessible parking, as there are only some at the rear, but it's totally worth it. The cafe is very clean and cute, which is such a great spot for families and couples. We will definitely be coming back as this just gave me real bad cravings for milktea. They aren't a franchise and are locally owned and something I noticed and applaud them for is that they changed their menu and actually decreased some prices for certain drinks based on feedback provided to them by customers. I really wanted to try the fruit tea but at $8 before tax and topping, its pretty steep. I understand they use fresh fruit but $8 for a drink is still pretty expensive in my opinion. Most of their other drinks are on par with other bubble tea places! The interior is bright and theres plenty of seating with booths on one side and chairs on the other. There's a huge variety of drinks on the menu, but I decided to go for the Brown Sugar Milk Tea ($5.50 for a regular size). The brown sugar pearls are only available after 1:30pm as it takes 4 hours to make them! They were the perfect sweetness and were soft yet chewy. What I loved is the option to have the brown sugar pearls in a milk tea base rather than just milk - many places I've tried only have the option of doing fresh milk! Id like to come back and try their fruit tea and maybe their cheese drinks, as I'm curious about those as well.

Overall bubbletea score is a 2.5/5 for me. If you want appetizers though, Jus Fruit isn't bad, their takoyaki is a bit pricy but it's pretty yummy, doesn't have that flavour explosion in your mouth like authentic Japanese restaurants but for what's there it is good. Overall appetizers score 4/5.
