Marzatti makes a really good dressing, so that's a good choice if you don't want to make it in house. This might be the best salad in Tell City. Coleslaw and fried okra are wonderful too. Next time I'll get a small salad and try some smoked meat.

I ordered their jalapeño cheddar burger on this visit and upgraded my combo to a large side and a large drink with an additional upgrade to add chili and cheese to my fries. My order came out quick and the service was absolutely superb as usual. I took my meal to the table and hurriedly opened up my side order and the sight hit me hard. The ultimate order of... Chili...Cheese...Fries. it was a heaping mound of fries with loads of chili and cheese. In approval, I inadvertently exclaimed "yeah" too loud and quickly scoped around to see if anyone might have heard me. If they had, I'd be forced to take the meal to go. A hearty mountain of deliciousness. My mind spun through scenarios on how to take this task on. Hire a Sherpa, get a pickaxe, and a pack mule perhaps? No no no. My food would be cold by the time they arrived. Focus and use what is at hand. The Wonder Whip Angel provided me with a plastic fork like the Lady of the Lake. It came out of my white bag like Excalibur. I should have asked for a second fork in case the first one breaks or wears down. I should've had a contingency plan. Curse me for a fool! But wait. I still had that burger to get through. I hurriedly scarfed it down enjoying every bit of it, but distracted the entire time by the thought of getting to my fries. I made it to the last bite and thanked the burger for giving its nutrients to me. I raised my fork high with my right hand and opened the clam shell with my left. For anyone watching from afar, I'm sure they only saw a small tasmanian devil tornado of activity with arms and legs and chili and fries and cheese whipping about. They'd be surprised to know that amidst that chaos, was a happy man enjoying a great side dish at a terrific value thanks to Wonder Whip. Im full. Now sleep.

Oh boy! A new buffet in Owensboro. Right at the front door i was met with a positive omen of what…read morewas to come. A gentleman walking out with one hand placed on his full belly and letting out a belch of satisfaction with a grin on his face. It was a grin that said to the universe, "I did something great today." I was seated quickly although there was a small army of people inside and at the gates waiting to be seated. Everything looked new and fresh. The staff looked busy but still excited by the hustle of a new business meeting with success. I walked the buffet line to plan my attack and build up my strategy. That is when things went downhill. I counted the number of trays of food as I walked. 35 dishes if you include the soups and the pot of sweet and sour sauce! 35 dishes NOT including the hibachi and sushi rolls and desserts! My mind spun and the very idea of a game plan went out the door. I just freestyled it and grabbed a plate and scooped up food as I walked. It was not elegant, it was not paired to build towards any type of flavor profile. It was simple chaos. I sat down with my food collage and dug in. And ya know what? Can I tell you something? It was still delicious. Every bit of it. Even the dishes I don't typically enjoy (dumplings) at Chinese buffets were found to be good. General Tso and his chicken seemed to be the big hit. I glimpsed several plates filled with it and the tray was continually attacked. I foresee fights breaking out one day over the last piece. I even witnessed one instance in which a hungry patron was spooning the remnants of General Tso sauce onto a plate after the actual chicken had been cleared out. I imagine it will be carefully spooned into a small glass vial and worn around her neck on a 24k gold chain and handed down as an heirloom for generations to come. The problem is that after only 2 massive plates filled to the edges, I was forced to tap out and did not have room for dessert nor the hibachi option. I know this seems tragic, but in the end, I survived against ridiculous odds stacked against me. I will just have to come back another day when my hunger meter is at level 26 or above. I paid and tipped and went out the door with a pat on my stomach and a grin on my face and let out a belch of satisfaction to welcome in the next customer as I had been welcomed. I wish great satisfaction upon them. 5 stars. Im full. Sleep now. Bye.

If you want the luxury of accepting cards, you should be responsible for the fees. I'm over going places that charge me just to pay them. Either be a cash only establishment or don't charge fees for using cards! Bloody Mary was fire though! Atmosphere is cute and aesthetically pleasing but just really not worth the price. I think this might be one of the most overrated restaurants in the area. But there's not many seafood choices so I guess do with this review what you will! Be warned slow service and take cash.
