Plus, a lot of the meat came in incredibly tiny pieces, so that in the end, there's not as much as expected in that pot. The cumin fried rice was also very good. Comes with A LOT of spices though, so it feels oversaturated. Still tastes very good, but it's just that the own flavour of the rice and meat are kinda lost. Similar thing with the lamb skewers: delicious, just a bit too much condiments. And here too, i've had better. Staff was fine, but could be a bit nicer. A simple smile goes a long way.

There are 2 menus, one in Chinese and the other in German and we ordered from the Chinese one - some stirred fried vegetables, a beef plate, a beef stomach appetizer, a spicy noodle soup and several kinds of dumplings. All are executed well, rivaling those I had in China. Food is on the pricey side (46€ lunch for 2 adults and a 3yo) and portions are not big. We were craving different, something you wouldn't normally think of while traveling around Europe. "How about some Chinese food? Oooooo, that sounds good" Asia Paradies (spelling issues forgiven) is hands down, quite possibly, some of the best Chinese food I've ever tasted. Coming from the SF bay area, well sure, you can find some great dim sum, but for the most part they've gotten pretty lazy at it. I was wide eyed & excited when I asked if it was too late for dim sum, and our friendly waiter responded "No, it's still available." YES. Now, I've had a good pork dumpling before, but never one quite like this. You know how the ones you get are usually a bit coarsely ground, maybe a bit tendony, chunky and super greasy. Well, the dumplings here are made with high grade, minced Austrian pork. If I weren't more health conscious, I would have ordered another serving, so amazing. The shrimp dumplings were also very tasty. Before we got to the dim sum, we'd started with some dumpling soup. (Please see previous paragraph concerning delicious Austrian pork product) After the dim sum we were served with some tasty fried rice (something my wife never fails to order), and a serving of Szechuan prawns. All quite good. Now, if you only have one to two nights to spend in Vienna, this isn't going to be your destination. But if you're here for a while and want something different, I wouldn't think twice about Asia Paradise. The ambience is nice and quiet, the service is great, good local beer and very satisfying flavors to round out our gastronomic adventures through Vienna.

They sent out some items compliments of the chef, and the portions were all more generous than I expected. I really enjoyed their Thai coconut soup (Tom Ka Gai). One of the servers took 30 minutes to explain all the sights I should try to see in Vienna, and drew me a map and wrote everything down. I got some sushi and it was very nice. Like most non-4-star sushi places in Vienna, your choices of fish are tuna, salmon, whitefish/butterfish, and shrimp. Li's also had some eel. I tried their mega futo maki roll, which is the kitchen sink of sushi rolls. Packed inside the rice and seaweed were tuna, salmon, shrimp, cucumber, and avocado. To top it off, there was a sweet mango dipping sauce for the rolls. Tasty, but so big that fitting it into my mouth became an engineering wonder! They make their own ginger iced tea, which was excellent and sweetened with honey. Just make sure to mix it to get the honey off the bottom of the glass. The service was decent and pretty standard for Vienna.
